I did not do any research prior to going here, I know menus change and I just wanted to take it all in. When we arrived it wasn't super busy, the place itself was big, bright, and inviting. The lady who took our order was super nice. I even went back in line to order additional items... We tried: 1. Longanisa burrito: This was surprisingly meaty and not all egg like some places. It was juicy and flavorful. 2. Waffle fries: I don't know why I was originally thinking french toast sticks, but this went perfect with the burrito. 3. Salted cream Vietnamese coffee: Perfect pick me up and it tasted freshly brewed like a pour over 4. Classic egg sando: My cousin and I made room for this fluffy goodness. I've always watched people eating egg sandos on social media and I have yet to try one like this. This was a perfect balance of egg salad ans bread. 5. Corn cheese cookie : I figured my cousin would like this, but I was surprised how you could taste the corn cheese in it. It was consistent throughout. 6. Matcha white chocolate cookie: This one was my favorite. Perfect balance of matcha with the sweetness of white chocolate. 7. Strawberries & Cream cookie: I was surprised that this wasn't overly sweet. 8. Walnut Chocolate Cookie: The walnuts gave the cookie a crunch and balanced out the chocolate goodness. Overall, everything we tried was amazing and I can't wait to come back soon and try the other items they have. I highly recommend this place, and suggest coming early.

We ordered the Banana Coffee, Ube Latte, and House Coffee, and all three were delicious. I'm not usually an iced coffee person, but these drinks completely changed my mind. They were smooth, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing. The Banana Coffee was unique and surprisingly enjoyable, while the Ube Latte had a rich, comforting flavor. Even the House Coffee stood out with its well-balanced taste. The line may look intimidating, but it's definitely worth the wait. This is another spot that's earned a place on my list of favorites, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

If you prefer coffee, the Golden Egg Coffee, their Vietnamese Egg coffee, could be worth trying. The coffee isn't too strong, and the egg cream on top is done well. As you've probably guessed, the store is decorated inside to fit a space themed motif, however, luckily it is not over the top. There are only a couple small tables, but it doesn't get too crowded, so you can usually grab a seat to enjoy your drink. You can order via a kiosk or in person at the counter with the friendly baristas. As of the time of this review, each order comes with a ticket for a chance to win some future drink discounts (i.e. BOGO free, free toppings, $1 off...) and a small box of biodegradable kitchen gloves.

After seeing several positive Yelp reviews, we decided to give this place a try. My husband wasn't a fan of the location because the plaza was extremely crowded, but he did mention that the shop itself had a friendly, trendy atmosphere. The staff greeted him right away, and the drink presentation was impressive. The takeout bag was a nice touch, and we were even gifted eco-friendly gloves from AnEco as part of a sustainability promotion--something we can all appreciate. As for the drinks, my husband ordered the Matcha Cloud Jasmine Milk Tea, and I ordered the Jasmine Oolong Milk Tea, both at 60% sweetness. The sweetness level was spot-on, but we were both hoping for a stronger tea flavor. I'd rate the drinks a solid 3/5. Our total came to $15.46 for two drinks, which is pretty standard these days. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and the drinks were decent. However, we're still undecided about returning, as we don't feel the drinks alone are enough to justify navigating the busy, overcrowded plaza.

There was plenty of parking, and although it was busy, the line moved quickly. There is seating both inside and outside, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Our drinks came out surprisingly fast. We ordered quite a few drinks, but my husband and I ended up sharing three of them. Uji Matcha Tofu - 10/10 Creamy, rich, and silky smooth. I loved the Vietnamese twist with the silken tofu. Such a unique and comforting drink. Einspänner Matcha - 10/10 Rich, creamy, and honestly the best Einspänner matcha I've had so far. Summer Special: Hojicha Jelly Tea - 7/10 Refreshing and creamy--perfect for a hot summer day. The hojicha flavor paired with the jelly reminded me of the grass jelly drinks we used to get in a can from the Vietnamese market. Very nostalgic. Beignets - 10/10 Light, airy, and not overly sweet. They reminded me a lot of Vietnamese bánh tiêu, which brought back childhood memories. * coconut latte * coconut matcha * coconut avocado matcha I would definitely come back and order these same items again. I love that ViLand offers something different from the typical matcha café. The Vietnamese-inspired flavors make it feel nostalgic for those of us who grew up enjoying these simple desserts that our parents introduced us to. I've honestly never had a bad drink here. Their coffee and matcha are always consistently strong, flavorful, and never taste watered down, which I really appreciate. My personal favorite is the Matcha Tofu, it was smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The matcha flavor is rich and earthy without being bitter, and the silky tofu adds such a unique texture that makes the drink feel light but still super satisfying. I also love their beignets here because they're light and fluffy, not overly doughy like a lot of places. Their Signature Coffee is another favorite; it's bold, rich, and packed with flavor, exactly what you want from a good Vietnamese coffee. The staff is always quick and efficient, even when the shop gets busy. Because it's such a popular spot, I wouldn't consider it a study café, since there are usually a lot of people coming and going, and the energy is always lively. I highly recommend ordering ahead online if you're in a rush. I haven't tried their tea selection yet, but based on how consistently good their coffee and matcha drinks are, I definitely plan to. Plus, they're open every day from 7 AM to 10 PM, which makes it super convenient.

Most people know Sip for its drinks, but the food definitely deserves some attention too. We ordered the Wagyu Steak with Black Pepper Sauce, the Sizzling Wagyu Beef with Creamy Mushroom Sauce, and the Sizzling Salmon with Pepper Sauce. Each entrée included a fresh side salad and warm baked bread. The bread was surprisingly good and ended up being one of our favorite parts of the meal. The drink is good, but not the best. Coconut coffee has more coffee flavor than coconut. The egg coffee is overly sweet, but flavor is there. Overall, I would come back if I'm in the area but wouldn't go out of my way for it.
