This dealership is an absolute disgrace. They clearly pick and choose who they want to deal with, and it's painfully obvious they don't value everyone equally. I came in for a simple test drive, and the clown of a salesperson strung us along with excuse after excuse. First, we were told to wait because someone else supposedly had the car. Fine, we waited. There is no gibberish with lewis if you give him a price and he can't match or get close to what your willing to pay then he will let you know. I recently had error codes come up on my brand new vehicle and the service advisor AJ tried blaming me for it being the Pod lights I installed on my vehicle, which by the way only connects to the battery. He also blamed me for the steering column rack wires that had electrical tape on them, which also good techs will put electrical tape on the wires to keep them from rubbing against each other and breaking apart. This electrical tape was from a previous repair done to the vehicle at quality auto for the steering column rack. I believe the service team has 0 knowledge of what's going on with your vehicle and tries blaming any customer for minimal things you add on your vehicle so they don't have to warranty any items in your vehicle. Aj was a rude the whole time and made me pay a 230 fee for electrical tape being around the wires. Right when i picked the vehicle up I took it to another dealership and they said that quality auto was lying and they made it up because they didn't know what was wrong. Comes to find out the steering column rack has to be replaced AGAIN. I do not recommend quality auto and their techs need to be trained better. I have mechanical background with vehicles and even told this AJ to double, triple check before he makes accusations and he denied my request. So in all honesty, screw this place. CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS TO BE WORKED ON BY THAT GUY. They need proper training and maybe even fired because they have 0 knowledge. Start hiring people that have the mechanical aptitude. read more

I feel like I am back in the dark ages. I went in today to look to replace my 2018 Canyon. We are going through a refinance so I told the sales person that I wanted to get the numbers together and I'll put a deposit down and purchase the truck on Tuesday after we sign the house documents. When the poor salesperson went back to get numbers on my trade-in, the manager said that I would have to come back because the "mileage would increase" next week so they couldn't give me an accurate estimate. The truck is 8 years old and has 46,000 miles on it. At that time, I had just given him my drivers license which showed that I was a Hispanic woman. I left and went over to Aaron Ford. I fell in love with the Ranger and of course they gave a full breakdown of cost and how much they would give me for my trade-in. I told them it would be Tuesday before I could purchase the truck and they said "no problem". I really didn't think that managers like the one at the Chevy dealer existed anymore. read more

Used to be good, but I have now put over $4000 in repairs in less than a year into my car and not only was I stranded in a parking lot because my car wouldn't start but now my check engine light is back on less than 5 months since I had my car in for a check engine light. I have put thousands into my 16 Cruze. Not a massive Silverado or Suburban, a sedan! They used to be trustworthy, but this last year has told me something different. Last time I took my car in, it was over two hundred dollars to run a diagnostic, yet all they did was hook a reader up to my car and tell me exactly what I told them the reader that I have said. That was just to tell me what I already knew. I used to be able to justify how much I was paying to take my car to them, but now they aren't even actually fixing the problem. Seems like they are just trying to get people to come back. You will be better at one of the other mechanics in Escondido. You will pay less and might actually have a car that runs. read more

Overall the salesman was very nice that I spoke with and helped me with the vehicle. I will say they have good demeanor and customer service to make you feel good about the process. The Downside is that they have misleading information on their website that does not apply to the vehicles when they go to give you the price. Typical sales tactics for dealers that are leading people to other online purchasing services, which I am now using. There is nothting worse than finding a vehicle and then having them tack on the "Magic paint" upcharge and the "We leave the alarm installed" fee. I hate dealing with this stuff and will go elsewhere... They never called back. I wait a day and called again and they were calling me within 15 minutes. They didn't call me so I ended up driving to another dealership and buying a truck sight unseen because that dealership was transparent and worked through the deal with me. The cherry on top of the bad service was they initiated the process for my Costco rebate. So when I went to the other dealer I could not use it becasue they claimed it. I called and they said that was not possible. It was after hours for Costco so I called in the morning and they fixed it for me because Quality had plugged it in their system. and I couldn't use elsewhere then. I was looking for a 2025 Chevy Blazer EV, specifically the RS version with rear wheel drive, I found their advertised price on Autotrader and it was $43,329, the add said this was the asking price!! Apparently a great deal, so I drove there, I live 35 miles away. When I finally get there and sit down with one of the salesmen he explains to me that the advertised price ALREADY INCLUDES A BUNCH OF DISCOUNTS that they have no way of knowing if the buyer qualifies for, like college discount, first responder discount, military discount, healthcare professional discount, Costco executive member discount, potential Federal EV tax credit, totaling $10,750, while in reality the selling price is $54,079. This is akin to FALSE ADVERTISING!!! So the guy calls over the sales manager, who offers absolutely NO HELP AT ALL. Autotrader should no allow these crooked dealers to advertise on their very respectable platform, they only wasted my very valuable time with this extremely misleading ad. PLEASE BEWARE AND AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!! Don't waste your time here. I called a couple of other dealers and confirmed that the advertisled price was REAL. I had an appointment with him at 9:15am Saturday and he was already waiting for me when I got there at 9:15 even though he was supposed to be off on Saturday. false advertising and dishonesty. this dealership is very dishonest. Their website lists all the discounts and when you call in to confirm, they say yeah we can honor all those discounts. But then you show up after driving almost two hours and then they come up with all kinds of excuses and beat around the bush and constantly gaslight. They fudge the numbers around, so it is as confusing as possible, but the discounts never match what they previously said. They belittle and play games and pressure their customers. They also deceived and pushed us into applying for GM card, we didn't know just filling a few fields that it was applying for a credit card. they are unethical and sleazy. Asking a simple question like can I put some of the down payment on credit card leads into a 30 minute discussion about why they need us to apply for a GM card to find out. Watch out everyone. After wasting two hours at the dealer, we had another two hours drive to go home. Better to pay a little more and work with honest dealerships vs sleezy pushing unethical dealership. I am having an issue with my convertible top on my Camaro I purchased from this store. I also purchased an extended warranty from them. I called to tell them about this issue today...the person in the service department took my call and as soon as I began to describe the issue she said how many miles do you have on your Camaro....I replied 66K and she said oh your warranty is out.....umm I purchased an extended warranty ....to which she quickly said....that's a power train warranty and the one that covers the top is only good for 36,000 miles so it's out of warranty. Ummmm can you at least take a look....she said you have to call the company you bought the extended warranty from (she said CNA National). I said "I have to call them?" And she said...well we can call but you'll need to set up a appointment to have us look at it which is $175.00.....then they can call for me and see if I am covered. I should have known better than to waste a bunch of money on extending the warranty....what a fool I am. So I just tried calling CNA and every one who answers the phone says I have the wrong department and transfers me to a line that nobody picks up. I've been on hold more than 30 minutes three times and nobody ever answered. Let me tell anyone who shops for a car....DO NOT FALL FOR THE ENTENDED WARRANTY GARBAGE.....it's a gigantic rip-off. They won't help at all. They take your money and give you nothing in return. They won't even make a call on your behalf unless you come out of pocket even more. Then the crooks who hold the warranty don't answer the phone. What a fool I am. Never again am I shopping at Chevy of Escondido and NEVER will I get an extended waste of time warranty. Our brand new Traverse broke down and it's been 10 days since we left it with them. No updates, no timeframes, nothing has been given to us. After Spending more than 2 weeks to get my service fuel in water message resolved by Kathleem, I was told they needed to drop tank and check fuel. I was told It was a faulty sensor in the end. I had dropped off my vehicle with full tank and was washed day prior I explained to Kathleem I needed it washed prior to pickup "which she did" however when receiving it I noticed it was about a quart lower than when dropped off despite her stating she would fill it up prior to pickup, no biggie I drove home and when driving to murrieta following day I noticed a strong diesel smell aswell as fuel had been depleted almost instantly from the drive there I looked under vehicle and both of my fuel lines going to my fuel cap were disconnected aswell as fuel tank was soaked in diesel on the sides see attached photos. I wasnt able to pump gas I ended up getting help from stranger pumping fuel to reconnect and tighten my lines. I arrived and was not attended 15 minutes in and had to walk in to get someone's attention. I told them I was there for service and had spoken to Juan and was told to come on in. Different associate said they were booked for the day and if I wanted to talk to Juan he would be in on Saturday. My time was completely wasted Quality Chevrolet needs new associates or better management. Overall a bad experience. Warranty service review only. I'll point out that I didnt buy my Chevy Traverse here, I bought it at Bob Stall. I actually came here first but at the time they said they wouldn't negotiate sticker price but I might be able to get 50% off the pre-installed paint and high-priced upholstery protection plan they added on to all of their vehicles. The fact they put that high profit upsell on each vehicle and force the buyer to pay for it is pretty ridiculous. Anyway, a sale lost for Quality Chevrolet. So one day my traverse had some transmission issues.. Because it was still under powertrain warranty I decided to tow my suv to Quality rather than the long drive to Bob Stall. My Service Consultant was Mike Sanchez and was probably the best service guy I've ever had. Was informative, prompt, and set me up with a no hassle loaner vehicle for the weekend... It was a good experience. While I wouldn't recommend buying from Quality (however you should make your own informative decision after reading reviews) I'd come back for warranty work.
