Came here on a random Sunday evening with a group of six and had a blast! We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our wait staff was very attentive and offered fantastic suggestions. We had the Chicken Parmesan as an appetizer and I would come back here just for that. It what you would expect, it came out o. A large pizza looking plate cut in slices. You just take a slice, cover it in chili honey, oregano, and dried olives, and top with dressed greens. Unreal!! Our group split between restaurant week menu and regular menu. Three of us had the filet which was tender and well seasoned. The favorite dish was lobster rigatoni. Homemade pasta and glorious sauce coupled with a table side lobster sauté that I could literally drink like a bisque. Huge pieces of lobster swimming in a red spicy alla vodka sauce. Finished with cannolis filled table side with your choice of vanilla or chocolate filling. This place was a fabulous experience all around and I cannot wait to go back! read more

Quality Italian - One of their gin based cocktails (can't remember the name) but it was delicious! - Italian Near Me - Denver, Colorado

We made RSVP for 8 for this past Saturday, then changed to 10 people when first couple arrived, and the host stand was very accommodating. Thank you for your attentiveness in helping us make that happen. We were shocked by the size of the bar, very small for the capacity of restaurant. Also, there was only one bartender when we came in, and he was so busy his hands were shaking. I could see faces at the bar of people who waited to be served a cocktail prior to being sat; some did not look to happy at all. After everyone arrived, we were sat at our table. We had never been here but in conversation with a to-go order person before we were sat at the table, he said the food was delicious. We ordered from the pre-fix menu for restaurant week, and found the portion sizes ridiculously small. What a joke on the fish dish!!! Total disappointment for one of our table guests. The tuna tartar was chopped so fine, it was like soup spread on a plate, another poorly served item. The food was not great, but average. All of us at the table have quite the palate for good Italian. But this place did not fit as "Quality". Randy our server was fantastic, as good as they come when serving guest. Between the host and the server 5 stars equally, but the restaurant food and bar, terrible. read more

Service was exceptional and beyond expectations. Zak, our server, was kind, attentive and knowledgeable. We dropped in for a late night bite and didn't realize we were stepping into a fine dining experience. The food was fantastic, the spicy crab and avocado was fresh and unique. The atmosphere was upscale casual and lively. Would be a great place for a group, romantic night or even a pop in after shopping in Cherry Creek. We will absolutely be back. Bravo! read more

Usually QI is really good came today for lunch with my husband and son and ordered the chicken parm pizza scarpariello style. It's always very good except for today it was awful. The chicken was similar to a McDonald's chicken nugget texture it didn't look like the white meat pounded breast that I'm used to getting. There was way to much cheese and it was more like cheese sauce just terrible and we paid 15 more for the scarpariello style which was so bland and there was very little sausage and the peppers were scarce idk why they put shishito peppers on top when it's an Italian dish it just was not good and there was about 3 small cherry tomatoes on top . We don't mind paying for good food but this was $84 and we feel so ripped off. I don't think we will be returning. read more

Great ambiance. I would go back again just to hang in the bar and eat and drink and people watch. The Corn Gnudi was definitely the best thing we ordered. I would go back and have that again, but try different dishes next time. read more

Overall a very good experience, especially considering COVID times. Calamari was awesome, spicy crab appetizer was so so. For entrees we got the chicken Parmesan for two, a ribeye, and spicy lobster pasta. All were tremendous, my only complaint was the chicken Parmesan was slightly over cooked. Service was top notch, quick, efficient, gentleman was super nice and knowledgeable on the menu. Not the number one Italian in Denver but very good nonetheless. read more

The four of us were seated right on time, but our waiter seemed disinterested in providing service. Drinks took too long. I ordered another cocktail, because the first was quite good, and I'm pretty sure he forgot, because I had to raise my empty martini glass to get his attention. We ordered a second bottle of wine, and I'm pretty sure he forgot. I want to believe he forgot, because the alternative is his disinterest in serving us. Both are bad, but the latter is offensive. We ordered the lasagna for two, and it was dried out and lacking much flavor. The meatballs were small and lacking flavor as well. The other members of our group enjoyed their steak and lobster pasta. read more

Went to Quality Italian last night for the 5th Time. I felt compelled to post because I finally went with company I could actually talk with and engage with. Our server Jennifer greeted us warmly and promptly as we were offered water choices. Nice start. We started with the warm bread and olive oil that was served pipping hot and a lovely salted crust. Yum. Word of caution, don't over eat the portions are huge here. We ordered the crab meat and avacado appetizer that was delicious. Lots of crab meat and avacado tossed with tomatoes and a nice drizzle of olive oil. I liked the Calabrian Chillis for a touch off heat. Man it was so good. Something you would get in key west. I think it's a must try item. DInner, based on our servers suggestion we did the lasagna. I never would order this at a fine dining establishment, however she talked us into it. It was served in a baking dish with 5 large rolls off lasagna that could feed 3-4. I loved the fresh basil, pesto and meatballs around the plate. I was blown away how delicious this was and how all tHe flavors just melded. again, I have to recommend this item. It's that good. Dessert was a couple gelatos. One hazelnut the other pistachio. Great endung to very nice meal. The staff works hard there. Jennifer was great and worthy of asking for. It's not cheap eating here, but you get what you pay for. I don't suggest this place for a first date, but a meet and greet at the bar absolutely! Def a great spot in Denver to enjoy. read more

This was a great restaurant connected to my hotel. Had a nice glass of Rosé and some good appetizers. Portions were a little small and prices a bit high. Not a huge by the glass wine selection. Some pretty whacky music was playing as well. But the service was excellent and it was a good experience. read more

My friend and I were visiting from Miami and this restaurant was recommended to us by family in the area. We didn't have the best experience though. Two out of the three items we tried (the complementary bread and the calamari) were EXTREMELY salty. Way way way too much salt to the point where we were trying to scrape the salt off before eating it. Also the fact that the restaurant is pretty expensive and the portions are so small we definitely expected to eat amazing quality food. We decided to leave after eating two appetizers and the complementary bread because of this. read more

I am a quarter Italian and I am a huge fan of anything with lobster. Quality Italian has a fantastic lobster pasta on their menu. It's got a kick to it, but gawd is it delicious! The photo attached doesn't do it justice. Also a must try is the lemon Caesar salad, it has cured lemons on top and is phenomenal. I'm sad I didn't get a photo. I will be back, but it's not a weekly or even monthly stop with how expensive this place is, I deducted a star for value. I recommend checking this place out for special occasions. read more

Chicken parm pizza is the best thing I have put in my mouth in a long time! Very nice vibe and atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I decided to come in for lunch, the service was HORRIBLE, our waiter had an attitude from the start of service which increased dramatically until we decided to leave. I have a pretty inconvenient and serious allergy to black pepper, but every other restaurant in cherry creek has been able to make the adjustments needed so that I can eat something, but not this one. Literally the waiter came out and told me he could serve me pasta with butter, and then went on to tell me that's what they do for kids. I mean if the food is fresh then the allergy shouldn't be an issue. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Also, they should get better service that's less offensive and pretentious. read more

I came here for my birthday and had an excellent time. Our server Cameron gave us the best service and was so nice to us. I do believe that depending on how your server behaves will alter whether or not you will come back to a restaurant. Cameron managed a couple other tables near us and he was so attentive and really tried his best to give the best service possible to every table. In regard to food, my absolute favorite was the bread and whipped butter. I love how rich and soft the bread was but is quite filling. The butter was amazing and was so creamy. We ordered the calamari which was also a great portion and tasted delicious. I did not order drinks but they do offer a long selection of wines and cocktails. My boyfriend ordered the spicy lobster and a staff member came to our table and cooked the lobster in front of us which was very cool. Overall I'd say the portions are big which I think justifies the price of each meal. I do really think your getting your moneys worth out of the meals and the table next to us was gushing over how phenomenal his steak was. For ambiance I'd say that place has dim lighting making it romantic for a couple however I think that this place is pretty versatile and saw a lot of groups of friends and families eating here as well. It gets busy but the vibe at quality Italian was great. read more

Best Italian steakhouse in Denver! Drinks and food are outstanding.

Phenomenal food. Excellent service. Great location in Cherry Creek. Overall, it was a fantastic night out. We basically ordered everything. The pastas were cooked perfectly, the octopus appetizer was tender, the steaks were beautifully cooked and plated, the branzino had a great grilled taste while still remaining moist and tender on the inside, the creme brulee corn side could've been a dessert, but who cares, it was still good. The desserts here are some of the best. Tiramisu was phenomenal. All the gelatos came in a really large portion and each came uniquely plated and dressed up. The ferrero rocher is the best one, but that's probably because I also love all things chocolate. Overall, a great dinner with a great wine selection. read more

What a great experience from start to finish! My second time here and the service was top notch! Legit NY Steakhouse style dining room and lounge. We sat in the lounge and Lindsey provided us with amazing service...professional, informative, great spot on suggestions! Very cool space makes me feel like I'm really in NY and I lived my whole life in NY! A nice array of choices...our favorites were the ricotta cheese starter, the octopus, the ceasar salad, the chicken parm pizza style! Also, the tomahawk steaks like I have never seen them before. I want to come back again and again! The food was great! The service was outstanding! Another steller night of service this time at the bar with Damien. I swear at least 4 people were trying to see if we needed help as we entered and before we got sat. The staff here is just so attentive and the food is over the top! For example the prosciutto is brought in from Italy and so delicately sliced and flavorful it will almost make you cry! I love eating at the bar and the wall opens up making it indoor/outdoor seating on those beautiful evenings. The server surprised us with a delicious home made ice cream dessert for our wedding anniversary. All around the nicest place in Denver for celebrating special occasions! read more

Five Stars for Quality Italian because it is "as good as it gets"! This is like the Italian Capital Grille, top-notch service and phenomenal food and drinks. When you are at Quality Italian, you get a real fine dining experience. From the moment you walk in, the host/hostess are friendly and welcoming. The bar area is very loud (as is the whole restaurant), so if you are wanting a quiet, romantic dinner, it might be too noisy. The loud ambiance didn't bother us at all, we were just shocked how packed it was on a weekday at 9:45pm! You would have thought it was happy hour or that they were giving away free drinks. Despite the large crowd, the employees are extremely attentive and our food came out in record time! Our meal was absolutely wonderful... and hot! I cannot wait to go back again and try the chicken parm. pizza next time! read more

I came here with 3 girlfriends for dinner on a Tuesday. Upon seating, we were immediately greeted and asked what we wanted to drink-wine, cocktails, "may I suggest x"--peppered with questions and suggestions. I asked for the house cab and our server let me know that the house wine is $25 a glass before I ordered then suggested an alternative at $18 a glass. I was looking through the wine menu but before I could answer, he was off getting me a taste. Nice, but pushy. I went ahead with the wine as he proceeded to suggest a full menu ordering for the table before we even had a chance to look at the menu. All in all, very pressuring, as we were there just to relax and catch up without being rushed. No need to upsell or be pushy in an already pricey restaurant. However, the food was excellent. I ordered a Caesar salad and the preserved lemons on top added so much flavor to it. I also had the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka. The pasta was served with the sauce mixed in and the lobster was flambéed table side which added an awesome touch to the dish. When it came time to get our checks, they had a pretty big issue splitting it up by what we ordered. Keep in mind, there were only 4 of us. The manager assisted and was very friendly but considering most restaurants can split checks of a much larger party, it was definitely annoying as we had to have our bills corrected a couple times as we were charged incorrectly. Overall, okay experience with the service but the food made up for it. read more

You guys! Restaurant week at Quality Italian is legit! For $83 a person my cousin and I were able to have a 3 course meal with drinks and tip and it was fabulous. From the linens embroidered with QI to the table side made steak sauce, this was a well catered meal. I couldn't believe the portion sizes for restaurant week. We have now been doing restaurant week for 10 years and this was by far the best one yet! It is a little pricey usually but I will be back for that lobster mac and cheese everyone is talking about! We purposely got 6 different things and all of them were delicious! read more

One of my new favorite spots! Their pasta is perfection, and last week I ended up getting a filet that was absolutely to die for! Perfect prosciutto as well, along with some of the best house made ricotta I've ever tried, and I'm not typically a ricotta person. That being said, probably my favorite part about this place is that they make their own in house Sambuca. That drink brings me back to one of favorite Italian places back home in Louisiana where I first tried Sambuca with my stepdad. This by far the best Sambuca I've had in my 36 years on earth. read more

We had a pleasant albeit VERY expensive meal here. Drinks: Drink menu just ok, no flavored vodkas but did have a pretty good cosmo. The vodkas weren't super top shelf my husband pointed out with their house vodka being Kettle One Wine: Decent options, though not vast, averaging close to $15/glass Salads/starters: We both got the Caesar which was decent and had delicious crispy things on top, but I would say average run of the mill salad with over-sized portion size (definitely share) We also go the prawns which were ginormous but lacking in flavor and a little tough Entrees: my husband got the rib eye which came with a dramatic dinosaur bone, I thought it was pretty awesome. He thought it was just ok, but not $50 ok. He got some sort of sauce that they made table-side. There is a bit of theater as I saw another server cooking lobster at someone elses's table I got a fresh brocollini and barrata pasta. And it had good flavor but not melt in your mouth good. Granted the pasta was reasonably priced at aroune $22 I think Dessert: We got a barrata cheesecake that was interesting but I'm not sure that I would order it again. The decor is eclectic..part rustic, part industrial, part old world with dark wood, with a dusting of shabby chic Our table was great - right by a front window. The service was highly attentive. Oh and the bathroom situation? Let's just say I ended up in the hotel parking garage trying to find the bathroom. It's not appropriate at all for that price point. Would I go again? Sure...you buying? read more

I made reservations for Quality Italian to have a celebratory dinner with my kids (ages 9 and 17) for good things happening to me at work. We arrived a few minutes early and were promptly seated. We had the calamari as a starter and it was delicious. I was worried that the menu might be a little too highbrow for my crew but they enjoyed it. The fresh bread dripping in garlic butter was perfection. I had the lobster rigatoni which was finished tableside with a bit of flare and my kids both had the porterhouse agnolotti. I had a bite of their dish and the brown butter was everything! So good! We finished our meal with a strawberry shortcake canoli and a pistachio gelato desert. I think the gelato won a fan for life in my son. The service was excellent and I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was a special evening for us. read more

Would recommend for a date / family/friend dinners. Connected to a hotel so the vibe is usually pretty upbeat. My husband & I recently went to QI to celebrate his 58th birthday. Note that we are huge fans of QI - our first choice to go to, when celebrating our anniversaries & birthdays. Unfortunately we were immensely disappointed this time and won't be going back. There are so many great upscale restaurants in Denver to choose from these days. Time to branch out ..... Here are a few reasons why: 1) The lasagna for 2, with 5 meatballs (size of a quarter) served in a pie dish was $75! If we had known there were going to be only "5 tiny meatballs", we would have ordered a $75 steak. The lasagna was hardly warm and dry. Where's the sauce? 2) Our water glass which was served in a small rock glass was never refilled once. No one came to refill or even care to offer. Where's the service? Isn't this a high end/ upscale restaurant? 3) Our server was a bit over the top friendly, goofy and chatty with us. Not there to laugh at his jokes. Would have preferred a more professional server who's aware of our empty water glasses. We spent over $200 and left him a 20% tip even though we were not happy with our experience that evening. read more

This was an amazing find in the neighborhood of our Cherry Creek hotel. Walking distance to the hotel, great shopping and lovely neighborhoods. Indoor open air seating and outdoor seating was available. Charming decor and the staff were friendly and very helpful in describing the menu choices. We started with warm honeyed ricotta with toasted sesame fococcia bread. My husband had the filet mignonette meatballs and I had the Cesar salad. Both were delicious and perfect starter size. I ordered the pistachio pesto pasta dish and my husband had the spicy lobster pasta dish. Both were delicious and were such generous portions, we took some home! I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the Cherry Creek area . Would love to dine here again the next time we visit Denver read more

This Italian place was great. Probably one of many good choices in Cherry Creek area. The patio area was really great for a nice out day. This restaurant is a part of a hotel. As soon as we walked in we were greeted nicely. They seated us pretty fast and the waiter showed up right after. The service here was excellent. They paid attention to us and kept checking on small details. We were there on the first day they launched the brunch menu (Ugh forgot to take pic of the menu) We ordered the shrimp cocktail (jumbo shrimps), Salad, and the Banana Fosters French Toast. For drinks, we did the Bellini and Bloody Mary. All the food and drinks were great, they showed us how to make the French Toast right at the table woooh....fancy lol. There was a Bellini and French Toast cart. We had a great time and will venture something else on the menu next time. read more

Been to this extremely popular restaurant twice. You can see from all the other positive reviews that this place rocks. However, I'd like to especially call out their Brunch offering because it doesn't get as much play but is UNBELIEVABLE. I'm a carboholic, so when I found out that this joint served pasta for brunch, I nearly fell off my chair. Let me re-iterate that for you: THIS PLACE SERVES PASTA FOR BREAKFAST/BRUNCH. But unlike most other places, they don't do carbonara. Oh no, that would be way too pedestrian. They've got Breakfast Risotto here! I will admit, at first I was scared to order it because I've been burned so many times by places serving terrible risotto, but I'm glad I took the chance because QI does it exactly right. Their Breakfast Risotto is divine! Perfectly cooked - so creamy and delicious. There are little bits of mortadella salume sprinkled in there too which give it a wonderful savory flavor. Even if you're not big on carbs for breakfast, everything here is really excellent. Even the SALAD was unbelievable (really, how often do you say that about salad?) -- the Tricolore is a really simple dish: greens and a very light toss of dressing - however, these were some of the freshest greens I've ever had and you could really taste the difference. I would eat salad all day long if it always tasted like this. The atmosphere is very high end (but not stuffy) with impressive table settings (custom embroidered napkins and stamped leather-like placemats, excellent stemware and glasses), service by the wait staff was impeccable. At night this place gets really crowded and dimly lit - perfect for a sexy date night, however, I really enjoyed the lighter, breezier vibe you get during the day where most tables are families taking in a relaxing meal. During brunch it wasn't overly crowded and we got a nice table by the windows which allowed us to watch all the passers-by and bask in the natural sunlight. We've recommended this place to several friends who live near Cherry Creek and those who have gone have enjoyed it as much as I have! read more

Celebrated my birthday dinner here and I could not have made a better choice. We ordered a mixture of steaks and pasta. Everything was delicious! Beautiful space, but the food was just ok. At this price point, it should have been perfect. Lobster ravioli was sauced in a sauce that sounded great but was two notes: super sweet from cheap sherry, and full of sour bites into poorly sauteed pickled peppers. What a waste of pasta and lobster. Roasted broccolini came out with balsamic glaze when I requested it come without. The fix was blasted at far too high a heat - it was by turns black and undercooked. Maybe the steaks are where it's at this place, but they were all too large a portion for me. The wine list was great. Service was great. The server was knowledgeable. He noticed I ate only an eighth of the ravioli and comped it. Comfy and classy decor, but the music didn't fit with the visual ambiance. read more

The food is just okay. Our server was really good. The noise level was ridiculous. It was so loud we asked to move outside to the patio.

We go to Quality Italian often - for birthdays, business meetings and celebrations, New Years Eve, and sometimes for no special occasion other than craving their amazing lasagne for two. Last Tuesday (5/16/23) was one of those days where we decided earlier in the day to go, and without a reservation. We ordered our usual - Lasagne with Filet Meatballs ($75), a caesar salad with dressing on the side ($17), and a couple of beers. My husband and I were musing about how some restaurants are just consistently great, and that QI is one of those restaurants. Sadly our experience last week was very disappointing. Our lasagne noodles arrived at half-height (it looked like they had cut the noodle width in half), and the meatballs were very dry and shrunken. The sauce was also on the dry side. We normally (like every time we go there) LOVE the lasagne, and were so disappointed in it that we sent it back. We ordered a hanger steak to switch it up. The steak came out incredibly salty but we muscled through it because we did not want to be "those people" by sending everything back. The salad was wonderful, as usual. We wanted to chock it up to a bad day and probably would not have written a less than stellar review, but for the next thing that happened. When we received our bill, we paid using a credit card on the handy little credit card machine they bring to your table. The bill was about $90 in total. My husband pressed the 20% tip button and signed it, but then asked me whether it looked right. I thought yes, we always leave a minimum of 20% tip when we dine out, so 20% is right. But then we looked at the dollar total equivalent to the 20% tip and it was about $30! For the tip amount to be $30, the bill would have had to have totaled $150 if we tipped 20% on top of that. Essentially, the $30 equated to a 35% tip on $90, which is not what we intended to leave. The button on the credit card machine read "20% tip" but it actually charged us a 35% tip! We asked the manager to come by, and explained what happened. He came back with a paper receipt for us to write in the tip amount, which we corrected to leave a 20% tip, and told us that he was taking that machine off the floor. All's well, ends well. But I DID want to make certain everyone is aware that this could happen. Please make certain to check your math when leaving a tip, as apparently, we cannot always rely on the credit card machines to perform accurate calculations for us. Last week was a fail for Quality Italian, but we will probably be back again. And we will order our "usual" again and hope that the lasagne is back to the way it once was (amazing) and that we are not inadvertently over-charged. read more
