I wanted lasagna and notice in an upscale area of Denver, Cherry Creek, valet parking and line outside people waiting to get in. Now did NOT dine in but went to the bar for to go orders. I wanted a dinner slice of lasagna and ended up with enough for at least 5 people. I also wanted Tiramisu (2) orders (my first taste at the bar) and salad of course bread as well. The Tiramisu looked really good and great presentation, the taste very disappointing. Also the butter rolls were pretty bland very disappointing. I'm visiting from another state and must say I was a bit disappointed. Presentation was excellent but the taste was average at best. I spent 200 dollars and expected better. Again my order was to go, I was 10 minutes away. The spicy lobster had al dente pasta with minimal lobster. It was done tableside which added to the anticipation. A let down all in all. Really not great food for $38. The porterhouse steak agnolotti was also just ok. No identifiable steak-just steak flavor. And to end the meal-cannoli. It was ok. The strawberry way way too sweet. The chocolate was fine. I dined here with 5 of my coworkers who are also in the hospitality industry to celebrate us running the Colfax Marathon. The food was delicious but the service ruined the experience. Our server was inhospitable from the beginning of the meal and it became worse as the meal progressed. I understand that people have bad days, but I've been in the restaurant industry for me entire career and I don't think anyone deserves to be treated the way she treated us, especially when we are paying over $100 a person of our hard earned money to dine here. It's really unfortunate that we went here for a celebration and left feeling down and out. i came here with high hopes but was kind of let down. im from los angeles and so far the food in denver wasn't the greatest and when i saw the reviews on the place i was happy to have finally found good food but unfortunately it lacked flavor. I got the Gnocchi which was a bit bland and the grass topping that they added was not good at all and hard to pick out if the gnocchi, it gave a very wood like flavor/ texture. The cannolis were such a let down, we got all flavors and they were not good at all. i gave this place 3 stars because the service was good and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. read more

One of those rare 5-star places that hit on all cylinders. QI executed from the moment we walked in - the buzz in the dining room pulled us in and the little details kept it going. From the embroidered table clothes and napkins to the fantastic service all was as it should be. Our waiter walked us through the menu, recommendations and the wine list. We went with a super Tuscan ('Il Fauno) bottle for our table of four after some guided direction of waiter. It was great. To be clear: we loved everything we were served and left much to come back to. For starters we had the homemade ricotta with Colorado honey (drizzled tableside). We also had the sausage and pepper garlic toast - which was absolutely standout. For mains I had the 24oz ribeye - tomahawk. What a wonderful restaurant! My partner and I came to Quality Italian to take advantage of their awesome dinner and wine pairing deal. It's roughly 70 dollars to an appetizer, dinner main, dessert and unlimited paired wines. We had an awesome waiter (I think Ryan) who was great at recommending wines for our dishes and making us feel comfortable. The highlight of the meal was the pineapple and rosemary sorbeto. Oh my goodness... It's phenomenal. I never would have put pineapple and rosemary together but man was it just the perfect combo. There is great ambiance and wonderful hosts. Cherry Creek sure does have some fancy things- and I'm not talking about the Louis Vuitton in the mall, either. With the OG Quality Italian located in Manhattan, this sister restaurant has a much prettier look inside and out. Whether you want to dine al fresco or kick back in the main room, it's upscale all the way. I dined here Friday with two lady friends to celebrate a special occasion and we really made the most of the experience, with shared apps, a bottle of wine, steak and seafood entrees as well as the cannoli cart for dessert. My personal highlights were the Gnudi -- which a "cousin" pasta to gnocchi made with fresh sweet corn. Also, I highly recommend the starter made from ricotta and topped with Colorado honey. The cannoli cart is so much fun, with everyone picking their shell and filling flavors. Our service was 5-stars all the way. Linen tablecloths and the proper utensils/glassware being replaced as you order. Extremely attentive server, sommelier and bussers. Love QI for a special night! I've been for dinner three times now and have had a lovely experience every single time. The ambiance here is very on point--whether you're in the dimly lit dining room, gorgeous bar, or living your patio life, you can't really go wrong here. A few menu highlights: + Start with a glass of wine or a cocktail. Not sure where to start? Their servers are top notch and can definitely offer a suggestion. + There are some great shareable plates for getting your meal started--the housemade ricotta with honey drizzled on at your table is both simple and a showstopper. + I'm a big fan of Caeser salads and think their little gem Caeser is fantastic. The cured lemon is my favorite part! + I've tried a few of their pastas with the dry-aged porterhouse agnolotti as a favorite. The chicken parm is also great and something QI is know for--I'd only order this again if I were part of a bigger group who's down to share. I most recently had the skirt steak alba griglia and adored it! Definitely enough for two people or some awesome leftovers. + For dessert, don't sleep on the corn crème brûlée. After seeing so many people post about going to this restaurant I knew I had to hop on the wagon! It is completely worth the hype and and an adorable restaurant! First of all the service was absolutely incredible. We were there on a busy busy Friday night and we still had top notch service from our waiter Ryan. He was so attentive and extremely personable. He brought us some rolls to snack on while we waited for our food and they were sooooooo delicious and they tasted like they were right out of the oven! So good that I asked for another 'round' and they were more than happy to give me some more.. We had the Caesar salad and it was very unique in that it had lemon slices in it. Which brought out a whole other flavor unlike any I've ever had before in a Caesar salad! For the big finale we ordered the Chicken Parmesan 'Pizza'. Although its $60+ for 2 people, it is completely worth the hype! It came with plenty of optional toppings that you can customize it to how you like! My favorite was when I drizzled it with honey! Our reservation was made over a month in advance for a birthday party of 6-- so not that big a group, right? And a Wednesday night. When we got there, it was suggested that we would have less than an hour and a half to use our table. I get that on Friday nights or with walk-ins, but not so much with people who've made a point of letting you know they're celebrating. They relented quickly, saying that they would not "rush us out." The service overall was excellent. Our server was cheerful, professional, and quick to get us our drinks and to let us know about any changes to the menu. We were in the back area where there were multiple tables with larger groups and a few lonely tables for two-- it must have been pretty noisy for them. The ambiance is elegant enough and it should be for the prices. The wine list is limited in the sense that there are a handful of dubious choices under 100 dollars a bottle and a lot of choices over $130 a bottle. The wine steward only tried a mild upsell. A few more good options in the 65-85 range would be a nice addition to the menu. As for the food-- highlights include the filet mignon meatballs, the porterhouse agnolotti, the Niman Ranch pork chop (always happy when it's sourced from there), the corn creme brûlée, the Tuscan fries, and the Brussels sprouts. Less exciting were the truffle cacio e pepe pasta (no taste other than the truffles), the tricolore salad (no apparent dressing or other additions but excellently fresh greens) and the salmon. The filet was well received even at the wrong temperature. The tiramisu was deemed delicious and the ricotta cake as well. read more

Hmm where to start.. our food took about an hour to come out and our waitress disappeared on us for a while. All pasta dishes came out cold, my $40 steak was half rare and half well done which I thought was very strange. They took it back and never bothered bringing another one! We were offered a refill on bread, said yes.. it never came out even when we reminded the waitress again about it .. it literally just never made it to the table. We also ordered a side of broccoli which never came out with entrees that we also had to remind them of. My wife and I had a weekend getaway in Colorado Springs and decided to have our anniversary dinner here before heading back home. I had a craving for lobster pasta and a quick search brought up the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka at QI. We made a reservation at 5pm on a Sunday, right when they opened for dinner and so had no trouble finding street parking (which is free on Sunday). The bar and open patio looked amazing but we had spent 2 days in the 90 degree heat so opted to sit inside. Service was quick and attentive, and our waiter answered the few questions we had about the menu as well as made recommendations since it was our first time here. We started with both the Tuna Puttanesca and Mediterranean Octopus. While both were excellent, the octopus was definitely top notch. It was tender and worked perfectly with the pesto, tomatoes, and peppers. I don't even like artichokes that much but they were crispy and delicious. For dinner, we had the grilled branzino and lobster rigatoni. The table-side flambe was great and the rigatoni had a great bite, coated with the silky, tomato, cream sauce (it was not spicy to me, but your palette may vary). We got the branzino "le due", and while both sauces were delicious, we preferred the salsa verde. Lastly, we got both the grilled mushrooms and corn brulee as sides; the mushrooms were a bit too acidic for us but the corn brulee was something else. I thought it was going to be overly sweet, but the smooth corn custard mixed with whole kernels and the crisp top complemented the branzino well (would probably be perfect with the savoriness of a steak). Lastly, we got the Ferrero Rocher gelato to finish our dinner and it was just as rich and decadent as you'd imagine. It was a great dinner: the service was excellent throughout from the entire waitstaff and the food, particularly the octopus and corn brulee are must-try's. The avocado crab appetizer amazing I thought it was gonna be like a bruschetta but it is more like a salad but it's a very very good salad very simple, but amazing I ordered the PACCHERI AMATRICIANA and it was so good very light amount of meat but the flavoring the sauce was amazing not sure if every dish has a low amount of me but don't expect a lot of meat like very minimal meat which is fine because I wasn't hoping for that but just a call out but the pasta was amazing flavorful 10 out of 10 recommend I also tried the chicken Parmesan I believe we did the vodka and it was so good amazing I was skeptical about it at first because I was thinking chicken pizza but it was amazing even as leftovers it was still a hit I also had the watermelon margarita that was really flavorful everything I tried was good I tried someone's Tuscan fries those are really good as well I loved everything I had the service as far as our waiter she was a bit slow it was a pretty big table it was about 11 of us so I wish she was more attentive but she gave her effort as mentioned in the beginning and that's what matters overall it was a good experience but the food is what I would come back for not saying the service was horrible obviously it wasn't horrible enough for me not to go back by any means definitely recommend coming here trying the food the atmosphere it is a beautiful place to be and a beautiful place to taste amazing food and wine read more

We went to Quality Italian as part of our weekly restaurant expedition. The atmosphere has to be a 4-5/5, incredible vibes from the patio, bar and dining room. The wine is good, but incredibly over priced. Our wine was $17/glass for a 4.0 wine on Vivino priced at $17/bottle. The food is a 3/5. We got the chicken parm pizza, classic, which was pretty good but easily recreatible in the home. We all had to send back our lobster rigatoni (maybe it was a fluke, but it tasted like an entire salt shaker spilled in there). We all love vodka sauce, spicy, and lobster but would never reorder after that ordeal. However, THE CAESAR SALAD!! Best Caesar salad of my life. The service was 5/5. Definitely overpriced, but... This place gets better and better each time I come. I've come here for brunch twice and although the meal was good, it wasn't anything to write home about. With the limited parking in the area, and high price of the menu items I really didn't think I'll be back. Then I came for dinner with a girlfriend and damn, I was floored. Ordered the spicy crab and tomato salad which had huge chunks of crab and a variety of seasonal tart tomatoes. For my entree I ordered the spicy lobster rigatoni. So flavorful and truly spicy. Hate when chefs are too scared of spice. This hit the spot, the portion was huge, and the pasta was fantastic. The best thing of the night was the Ferror rocher gelato dessert. Might be the best dessert I've had in Denver. Tasted just like the candy but using gelato!! Hard chocolate with pieces of hazelnut topped it off. I opted to share this with my girlfriend but I can picture myself ordering a solo one of these to go. Please try it. Treat yourself to this place. The service is impeccable. We made RSVP for 8 for this past Saturday, then changed to 10 people when first couple arrived, and the host stand was very accommodating. Thank you for your attentiveness in helping us make that happen. We were shocked by the size of the bar, very small for the capacity of restaurant. Also, there was only one bartender when we came in, and he was so busy his hands were shaking. I could see faces at the bar of people who waited to be served a cocktail prior to being sat; some did not look to happy at all. After everyone arrived, we were sat at our table. We had never been here but in conversation with a to-go order person before we were sat at the table, he said the food was delicious. We ordered from the pre-fix menu for restaurant week, and found the portion sizes ridiculously small. What a joke on the fish dish!!! Total disappointment for one of our table guests. The tuna tartar was chopped so fine, it was like soup spread on a plate, another poorly served item. The food was not great, but average. All of us at the table have quite the palate for good Italian. But this place did not fit as "Quality". Randy our server was fantastic, as good as they come when serving guest. Usually QI is really good came today for lunch with my husband and son and ordered the chicken parm pizza scarpariello style. It's always very good except for today it was awful. The chicken was similar to a McDonald's chicken nugget texture it didn't look like the white meat pounded breast that I'm used to getting. There was way to much cheese and it was more like cheese sauce just terrible and we paid 15 more for the scarpariello style which was so bland and there was very little sausage and the peppers were scarce idk why they put shishito peppers on top when it's an Italian dish it just was not good and there was about 3 small cherry tomatoes on top . We don't mind paying for good food but this was $84 and we feel so ripped off. I don't think we will be returning. read more

I discovered this via Denver Eater's latest, "Hottest New Brunch Spots" and it didn't disappoint! And can I first take a moment to simply say how fabulous the decor and service are executed? One is made to feel they're visiting their eccentric Italian Aunt's home, and it's just stunning and the service complements the elegant atmosphere. One of my all-time faves for any brunch is the fun of a "bottomless" anything -- and we started with their "Signature Bellini Cart" and enjoyed their "Cucumber Lime" and "Classic White Peach" Prosecco creations -- amazing! For once I truly was perplexed with what to order because the offerings were so varied -- so I went with our server's recommendation for the "Breakfast Risotto" -- Mortadella, Pistachio Pesto, Fried Egg -- I've never had anything like it and it was spectacular... highly recommended. One of our guests was a five-year-old, and our server let us know the special items available for kids -- nice touch. I definitely recommend ordering the Bananas Foster French Toast -- as they pull up a special griddle on a cart and make it table-side -- so cool -- and not to mention ridiculously tasty! The prices are ridiculous. The food in no way matches up to a decent value. The NY strip was reminiscent of a Ponderosa or Sizzler steakhouse... for $40+. Please... stay home and grill a nice thick steak yourself. The drinks were good, wine choices nice but so overpriced it made it hard to enjoy anything. We had the Chicken Parmesan as an appetizer and I would come back here just for that. It what you would expect, it came out o. A large pizza looking plate cut in slices. You just take a slice, cover it in chili honey, oregano, and dried olives, and top with dressed greens. Unreal!! Our group split between restaurant week menu and regular menu. Three of us had the filet which was tender and well seasoned. The favorite dish was lobster rigatoni. Homemade pasta and glorious sauce coupled with a table side lobster sauté that I could literally drink like a bisque. Huge pieces of lobster swimming in a red spicy alla vodka sauce.
