1. Host station was very slow seating customers with reservations. Lots of people with reservations standing around the host station waiting to be seated. 2. Once seated I noticed a chip along the rim of one companion's water glass. So everyone checked their glasses. 3 out of 5 water glasses had chips. 3. Drink service was very slow. How long does it take to pour a few beers and open a bottle of wine? No time consuming cocktails to make. 4. First course, bread. Tasted meh. The olive oil for dipping was also meh. It needed a little sea salt, pepper, balsamic, or herbs. 5. Second course, caesar salad. Good flavor and the hint of lemon was pleasant. 6. Third course, entrees. For our party, veal was dry and overcooked. Pasta was tasty but so overcooked. Nowhere near al dente. We were served 2 portions of the lobster rigatoni instead of 1 portion of lobster rigatoni and 1 of lasagna. No lasagna in sight. The kitchen had to rush to get the lasagna out. 7. Our entrees were delivered to our table in waves with waits in between each wave. So either some people eat while others have nothing or some wait to eat till all the food arrives resulting in the first wave cooling off. 8. Final course, dessert, was the strawberry rhubarb tart/galette with basil gelato. This was by far the best course. Lovely flavor combination, cooked well and plenty to share. 9. Overall this restaurant is a hard pass. Not much to recommend and certainly better Italian restaurants in Denver and Boulder. Overpriced, overcooked, underwhelmed. Too many issues to warrant a return visit. read more

Service was horrible. I would never go again. We were there 40 minutes early and was ignored to be seated. Many people were there after us and were seated before us. Bullshit read more

Beware- dishonest Sommelier. Been here twice in the past two months. Service and food were very good. Both times the Som "happened" to accidentally charge us for an extra $200 bottle of wine. Two separate occasions same modus operandi. You make the conclusions. Only issue is manager completed abdicated responsibility and gave us nothing off bill. Likely won't go back. We went this year for Christmas Eve dinner. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Everything was really perfect. Highly recommend!

Our first time to QI. Marvelous Christmas Eve Dinner. Ever seen Rosette Lasagna? No words adequate to describe. You have to experience this entree for two. Filet Mignon 'meat balls'. Yep! I said it, Filet Mignon meat balls. Unreal. Flavor beyond any expectations of deliciousness. Appetizers were perfectly prepared and seasoned ever so delicately. Flavors in everything we enjoyed is so balanced with taste - you enjoy each bite long after they're gone. Presentation is excellent. Portioning is just right. Not too much, not too little. Easy to pair with wines & QI has a very nice selection. Taylor, with her team of servers, was our Server and this New Hampshire Gal is delightful. Stacy & I spoke exclusively about our dinner all the way home. QI is a winner! read more

Quality Italian - Not your Mother's Lasagna. It's better, pasta is so light. Tiramisu seemed to disappear. Suffice to say - yummo! - Italian Near Me - Denver, Colorado

The restaurant is a great place to eat and to hangout. The service is really great. I have always enjoyed my experience here. When it comes to quality of ingredients, I had to subtract a star. Many of their items are cooked with soybean oil. The lasagna, and chicken Parmesan are some of their best dishes. You really can't go wrong if you're undecided. My favorite dishes and items you must try. These do. It have soybean oil in them. Spicy Lobster Rigatoni and the Corn Gnudi (crab) are hands done some of the most flavorful dishes you can get there. Overall, I will return and I will order the same exact thing. I have had a steak here, and it's more than worth it. read more

Two words that make my heart go pitter-patter: Bottomless Bellinis. Went for brunch last weekend at this cool spot in the Halcyon Hotel and it was delish! Our server was hilarious and kept referring to himself in the third person. He rolled the magical Bellini cart over to our table and should have been wearing a cape. He was our super hero, mixing custom cocktails at our table with fresh fruit purée. Be sure to take a Lyft if you plan to indulge, because those bottomless drinks are huge and you will want to try all the flavors of the rainbow. (They do have valet parking and there is a garage across the street if you pull the short straw and have to be the DD). Oh, right, we had food too! You can't go wrong with the Benedict and it's even better with the crab. Our table also had the breakfast risotto, veggie frittata, Qi burger and polenta pancakes. We were the clean plate club and loving all the tasty morsels. Now to get back there for dinner and one of their legendary steaks! read more

Quality Italian? More like shit Italian! this is by far the worst restaurant I've been to. Service is horrible, food is below mediocre and the ambiance is nonexistent. We got the the chicken parm pizza and for it being the "house-special" it did not meet expectations. Pizza came out cold and the chicken was extremely soggy. We saw our server among another employee drinking on the job. It took us over 2 hours to get out the restaurant. Would absolutely not recommend to someone who is an Italian food enthusiast.. read more

Money, money, money. What a joke for small plates of Italian food. Not again. Overpriced and underperforming

Such a great date night! The food was delicious, the decor was beautiful, and the service was great. The pesto rolls they serve before your meal are out of this world. I could have eaten 10 more! Definitely get the Caesar salad- it has a special twist with lemons. And the lasagna was the best! Oh and don't miss dessert. We had the tiramisu and it was phenomenal! We'll be back again! read more

My girlfriend and I are vegan so finding meals at regular restaurants can always be a journey. Quality Italian has been amazing. The servers there are truly top notch and educated on all the dishes and the wine. I was impressed from the start. We usually have a side of the broccolini and mushrooms with their rigatoni and red sauce (which is the best red sauce I've ever tasted.) We usually eat with others that are not vegan and they have a similar experience. Highly recommend. read more

Great food and service. Great ambiance even with COVID precautions. Felt really good about the safety, masks and lots of sanitizing between tables. One of the few places worth dining out at during this time. The lemon Caesar is incredible! read more

The food was fantastic and loved the dim lights to set the ambiance! The service was on point!

We are here visiting from NY and saw this place while walking around town this morning and decided to check it out for dinner. Let me just say, WOW. Food, amazing. service, amazing. Our server was Greg and he was very knowledgeable and honest and he let us know what he thought would be best for us. So we tried the porterhouse (for 2) which came with a filet and it cut like BUTTER. The flavor was amazing too. We got truffle butter on the side and I barely used it because the steak had so much flavor on its own. Then for dessert we got the burnt marshmallow marscapone ice cream sandwich on graham cracker cookies. Also AMAZING. Overall just a high quality place. I would go back in a heartbeat. Will definitely be coming back to Colorado (with this restaurant in mind). If you have the chance to come here, do it!!! read more

Stopped in mid Saturday afternoon for a quick beer. Hubby had the beer, but I just needed water which was served in very small glasses. The bartender refilled the small glass 3 times and did not seem particularly happy to do so even though he was thanked each time. Sorry we seemed to be too much trouble. Cannot speak to the food although the menu looked good. read more

Went here to celebrate my son's girlfriend's birthday. It did not disappoint. I sat at the bar waiting on my party to arrive and had a fabulous Old Fashioned - I recommend it if whiskey is your thing. It has an upscale atmosphere without the snobbery you get in so many other places. The chicken parm pizza was everything I had heard it to be. Very good! Lasangna for 2 could actually feed 3 and delicicious. I can't forget to comment on the desserts. We had 5 different ones but my favorite was the crostata with basil ice cream. One of the best I have had. Definitely going again and would love Christine as my server - she was really good! read more

I had heard mixed reviews of Quality Italian, but was impressed. The atmosphere is a bit stuffy and the waiters are very formal, but the food was really good. The complimentary bread served in a cast iron skillet at the beginning of the meal was delicious. The chicken parm pizza is pricey at $31 per person/$62 for a pie, but when split between a group as an appetizer, it was perfect. It was a fun place to come for a celebration as it's definitely not an everyday kind of place. It would be perfect for a work dinner! read more

Delicious food & great service. Highly recommend!! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. Highly recommend setting a reservation in advance as they're typically booked out a month. read more

Our waitress was delightful and the food was good. Unfortunately, our dining experience was overshadowed by an uncomfortable exchange with the host. When I arrived, the host shared with me he had given up our table because I was ten minutes late. (Which I completely own, I *was* late - parking in Cherry Creek was notably bad that night and I would have been on time had I just gone with the valet to start.) I had shared with the host that a member of our party had already arrived (on time) and I believe she had gotten our table... and he told me she hadn't. I was then told we would not be able to be seated as we forfieted our table. I said I would look for my friend - assuming perhaps she went to the bar - to figure out what to do... And I then spotted her already seated at a table, coat checked by the other hostess and all. I went back to tell the host that she *had* in fact been seated and wanted to clarify in case there was another diner with my same name or some other mixup. The host then went over to my friend, again, already seated, and asked if she had "seated herself at the table." She shared with him that the other host had seated her and had also checked her coat. Frankly, the exchange was a bit rude and certainly bizarre. The host proceeded to bustle back and forth past our table multiple times in the night - clearly frazzled and irritated. I understand it was a particularly busy night with it being restaurant week, but the demeanor with which the host treated me and my friend was incredibly offputting, and to accuse her of seating herself was another level. This is a nice restaurant - I have no idea why he would think anyone in our party would have the audacity to just sit down at a table. (Not to mention, I have no idea how she would have had a claim for coat check.) Otherwise, we had a nice meal - but it was really unfortunate to have such an unpleasant exchange taint our experience. read more

Lasagna and meatballs were great. Other 3 meals were good. Two of the three dessert canoles were empty. Very slow service. 20 to 30 minutes for water refills. Grumpy waiter. Better luck next time. read more

Made a reservation for brunch 1pm on Sunday. The good: food was prepared well and the service was good. Absolutely no issues whatsoever with the food or service. However, my complaint was the loud music over the speakers. To put this in fair context I'm 46 and I like to enjoy a conversation with my wife and enjoy my meal in more peaceful environments. If the volume scale were 1-10 and 10 being very loud the volume was 8. I kid you not I had flash backs of my younger days in club La Vela on Panama City Beach with Onyx " let the boys be boys" and Sir Mix a lot " baby got back" playing over the loudspeaker. Yes! I'm not joking those two songs we're blasting on Sunday brunch......Ha. That's like 90-93 club music. I'm not sure half the guests in the restaurant even remember those two club classics. Overall it was annoying and I had trouble enjoying my meal and conversation. Why the loud club music I'm not sure?? Could have been just a one time deal. Needless to say just not my type of place. read more

Quality Italian is located at the Halcyon hotel. We dined here when we stayed at the hotel, and we were impressed. The restaurant is dark, romantic, and moody. They have an awesome bar in the middle of the restaurant, which seems like the perfect spot to hang out. Our group of 4 ordered the octopus appetizer and a Caesar salad to start. Both were good and perfect for sharing. They also brought out some delicious, fresh bread which we loved. For entrees we shared a steak ($48) and the chicken Parmesan ($62). We also ordered 2 sides - brussel sprouts and the corn soufflé. The chicken Parmesan is huge - the size of a a medium pizza. Our group of 4 could have shared just the chicken parmesan. The steak was fine. The brussel sprouts were covered in vinegar I believe - I did not care for them at all. Overall the food was good and the chicken parmesan was certainly the highlight of the evening. We had a ton leftover. Our bill was $500 for 4 people, the food outlined above, and 2 decent bottles of wine. read more

Wow wow. What a wonderful restaurant. We tried it because if Restaurant Week. The caprese salad with fresh beefsteak tomatoes, basil, and whipped cheese is out of this world. My wife and I love Quality Italian. We have been here multiple times and whenever we have guest in from out of town we make sure to take them here. The agnolotti is delicious, as is the lobster pasta dish. The chicken parm is unique and delicious, and the deserts are a perfect way to cap off the evening. We have had wonderful service, including at the bar where Carlos has taken care of us many times. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! read more

I was so excited to try this spot after weeks of drooling over their pics on the gram. The location is beautiful and the ambiance is very sophisticated. White glove service all the way around. Now the food... the ricotta drizzled with local honey served w/ toasted pine nuts was absolutely dreamy. The ricotta's creamy texture reminded me of a rich yet mild cream cheese. We also ordered the homemade Porterhouse Agnolotti. OMG. Picture perfect little pasta purses of delicate meat pâté drenched in a garlic, rosemary and brown butter sauce. In my opinion, the star of the show. We ordered a steak and broccolini to follow (and really wanted to love it) but it wasn't the best. Can't wait to come back and try the lasagna! read more

Great food. Terrific service. A bit noisy but I'll surely be back. Third visit and always good.

We had an amazing dinner! Alex was the best server and very attentive. Great food and nice ambiance. Thank you QI!

This is the second time we celebrated Valentines Day at this restaurant & we were very happy both times. The restaurant itself has a dimly lit, romantic atmosphere but it is quite loud in there with music & lots of kids & lively guests. I enjoy that, but it's not the place if you're looking for a quiet dinner. Our server was quite fun/sarcastic & on point - we enjoyed him. Upon a recommendation from a friend I tried the tri-colore margarita - omg it was absolutely amazing & paired quite well with our app & entree, but it is quite spicy! For an appetizer we ordered the tuna carpaccio which was excellent - thinly sliced topped with sun dried tomato & a lemon sauce - melted in your mouth amazing - I was left wishing for more. For our entree we shared the famous chicken parm (served on a pizza plate) & while I absolutely enjoyed it I felt there could have been some noodles on the side with it. However, the arugula salad & other toppings that came with (honey, red pepper etc) made it delicious. It's pricey but very filling! We had three additional meals at home with the leftovers. We didn't order dessert this time & they didn't bring out truffles for us to take home like last time. All in all it's a wonderful spot for a special occasion! read more

Man I'm sad about this place. I came here opening week and the menu was a kid in candy shop-so much to choose from. But now it's really limited... the service is hit or miss as I've been back twice in one week. And I feel like my pasta dishes are always less than room temperature. Bummer read more

Ridiculously delicious food in a beautiful setting. Now, know this first. I'm not cheap but I'm not stupid either. Been here for dinner before, it's great service and great food, good vibes. Was in this weekend at the side bar- asked for a full red body wine( in 15$ price point, hence its 11:15 and just swing by for a glass)---Super helpful bar waiter- brings me what he thinks fits the request. I get small sample- and pass on it!! )He says he will be back with another taster. Brings 3 bottles I get a lil taste each. I point to which was best and request that. I get the bill $40 for a glasssssssssssss. Thank you for the up sell and the donkey and pony show- I sure paid$$$$ for it. Rude! And wrong. I say take advantage of the rich and drunk .and stop preying on general customers. You're that hard up to make a sell- try the used car lot! Jerk! read more

Had Dinner June 27, 2021. Service was very good. However food was " just ok". Very pricey. Usually don't mind paying high prices for a good meal- this was not great. My Lobster pasta was cold and had no idea why the final step was cooked at our table. It was just sauce. My wife s dinner was nothing special . I'm sorry but not worth expense based on quality. One last note: it was a rainy night and they insisted keep garage doors open and it was very cold inside. This was our second visit and don't think will return as both visits were the same experience. read more

I say this every time I go to a well-executed restaurant with top-notch service in Denver: "I love this town." But for a few exceptions, there's no need to don a suit and tie to enjoy a really well-prepared meal with crisp, attentive, professional service, and Quality Italian proves me right again. (I love being right. Right?) Not that you'd be remotely out of place gussied up and looking smart, as were a number of ladies of a certain age and their husbands of some importance last night; I've not seen that many floor-length fur coats in quite some time. And the husbands seemed somewhat important. But it's the design, and particularly, the service that sets Quality Italian apart. The bar service is crisp; the hosts were spot-on and forgiving, even though my dinner companion was running late. We were seated quickly and greeted by my now-favorite server, Phil (or was it Kevin?) This is a cheeky joke, of course, because it was Phil and I bungled remembering his name from my first visit so thoroughly that he rightfully teased me about it, picking up immediately on the light-hearted mood at the table with my best girlfriend. The vibe was not nearly as silly and inconsequential at the table next to us, and we watched Phil's professionalism in action as he switched quickly between goofy banter but precise and informed details about the menu with our table, and helpful-but-not-hovering service at the much more serious table next to us. Phil moves unobtrusively through the dining room, reading each table quickly and accurately, delivering not only a great service interaction, but the perfectly timed arrival of each course or glass of wine. There might have been several glasses of wine last night. The food is simply delicious and very well-prepared: a fresh and citrusy caesar salad large enough to easily share, the spicy lobster pasta prepared tableside, and the fan. tas. tic. cheese and charcuterie boards (get both and mix them- thank me later!) Now listen: you're going to feel that check when it arrives at your table, and unless you're a lady of a certain fur coat pocketbook or a gentleman of some importance and a flexible wallet, Quality Italian is going to be a fabulous every now-and-again delight. But if, like me, you've got a reasonably presentable outfit on and a hankering for a fabulous meal with top-notch service, you would do well to blow your dining out budget here. read more
