I truly wish I could give Quality Italian a 10 star but I can't. The decor is incredible and the food is amazing, what more could you want? Drinks... those are great too. The sausage pepper toast was by far the best appetizer I've had in a long time. The juices form the sausage soak into the bread and the pickled peppers on top add a nice acidity to the dish. The Italian margarita is so good! A definite must try. You might need to restrain yourself from drinking it quickly as it comes with a layered ice cube (jalapeño purée, strawberry purée, and orange liqueur) that enhance the flavor as it melts. We tried the steaks and didn't think they were anything special. The steak sauce they make is unique and really tasty but overall wasn't a huge fan of the steak. Chicken parmigiana was great by really rich and filling. Come hungry as the serving size can easily feed 4-6 people. Lasagna and meatballs were also incredible. They're new age so they are rolled and presented that way versus the flat layered lasagna. Last but not least - the Paccheri Amatriciana . If you get anything there I would highly highlands recommend trying this dish. It has such good flavor and is just different. I dream about this pasta. I decided to try Quality Italian during restaurant week. The restaurant is located in Cherry Creek North and it is quite fancy. The ambiance is sophisticated and romantic. Perfect for a date and also a night out with friends and family. It is quite expensive though - expect to spend at least $30 per person (not including alcohol). The menu for restaurant week ($45 pp) was sadly disappointing in regards to their entrees. There was choice of pasta, fish, or steak. The 6oz filet was at no extra cost, but the 10oz NY strip was an extra $10 and the 16oz Ribsteak was an extra $15. No sides were included if you ordered steak, so it would have cost an extra $9 per side. Our waiter was very helpful and provided us with various options on how to get more bang for our buck! My cousin and I decided to order off of the regular menu and shared the Prime Dry Aged 24oz Ribsteak with Broccolini and Balsamic and Corn Creme Brûlée. The steak was cooked to a beautiful medium - tender and flavorful. The broccolini side was OK, but I thought the balsamic made it too sour. The corn creme brûlée is definitely a must! Creamed corn with a hard shell of torched sugar on top - an innovative and delicious take on creamed corn - noms! For dessert I chose the Burnt Marshmallow Stracciatella. It's a marshmallow ice cream with chocolate laced within sandwiched between a graham cracker cookie. It was pretty tasty, but found the cookie to be tough and hard to bite through. I'd love to go back to try some of the pasta dishes they offer - I tried a couple bites of the Lobster Rigatoni and it was delicious! Highly recommended :) read more

The food is tasty and the Martinis are great. Service is good but it's cramped and noisy. The waiter asked if we wanted a vegetable side dish and we all said no. Somehow a dish of broccolini was on our table. I tried a bit and assumed it came with one of the dishes. My friend and I shared a fish dinner and the guys both had meat dishes I believe. We had 7 Martinis and a glass of wine. We also had one appetizer. It was around 90.00 per person. I think the Martinis were 18.00 each. Ouch! Don't quote me on the pricing. If I knew the drinks were that expensive I think we all would have had one. When I got home I looked at the bill and saw that we were charged for the vegetable no one ordered. I meant to call about broccolini but I never did. The place is very crowded but I will not be going back there. Plus the valet parking is not cheap, Cherry Creek use to be my favorite neighborhood but not any more. It's getting just too expensive. read more

Omg! So amazingly delicious. Everything was so good from start to end! Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants. The ricotta is an absolute must. It is out of this world. The creaminess of the ricotta and sweetness from the honey and crunch from the foccacia... so good. We ordered the spicy lobster rigatoni and the porterhouse agnolotti. Both were fantastic. The rigatoni was very creamy. It was a good size portion. They flambe the lobster table-side and you can control the amount of heat by adding more spicy garlic chips. The pasta is fresh and apparently made in-house. The service was also excellent. Our server, Daphne, was great. There are so many more things I want to try on the menu...definitely looking forward to coming back! read more

We reserved a table for 10 at 6 pm on a Sunday night. We ordered appetizers including the Chicken Parm Pizza (WOW - very tasty) but the server encouraged us to overorder (one pizza would have fed 10 as an app - she encouraged us to get 2 pizzas). We also ordered salami, prosciutto and cheese. Both the meat and chees board and the pizza came out too fast (like 5 minutes after ordering) but all were yummy. We had some nice wine and cocktails then ordered salads and entrees. A couple of us were disappointed when the server came back to inform us they were out of the Porterhouse pasta dish. The wait time for entrees was about an hour and 15 minutes from ordering, which would have left plenty of time to make the pasta they were out of.... Everyone at the table had a pasta dish and two out of 10 of us thought their orders were worthy of a WOW - the other 8 rated the pasta mediocre. The menu is too limited to be out of anything, particularly after taking the order. Service was inadequate although the limited staff worked hard (needed more staff to clear plates, etc.) Their pricing is high end, but the food and the service don't match the price. read more

Ive now been to Quality Italian twice, and OH man, its delicious. Visit #1 was for brunch. Not only do they have bottomless bellini's, but they have bottomless bloody mary's AND you can mix/match them for the same price. We ordered the lemon polenta pancakes (FANTASTIC!), caprese salad (best ive had by far, but ask for some balsamic), and the chicken Parmesan. I personal thing the Parmesan is a bit overrated, but I would still order it for the experience. My only gripe with our brunch was, we were there for a friends birthday. They brought her out a small dessert, but then charged us for it. It was really bizzare. Visit #2 was for dinner: We tried almost every appetizer on the menu, and each and every one was fantastic. A resounding Meh. We came in with high expectations and paid NYC prices for a very underwhelming and disappointing experience. My biggest gripe: The Food! Everything is overly salted, perhaps to hide the poor quality of the ingredients. My side of roasted asparagus looked and tasted like old, bottom-of-the-barrel produce that gets sold at half price. And it was doused in grated parmesan cheese. The housemade ricotta (with honey and pine nuts, served on sesame bread) had zero flavor. Tasted mostly of sesame. The corn creme brulee looked promising. Hard crack on the surface, but the corn custard was slightly liquidy/runny and very salty. The more bites I had, the saltier it became. Oh, yes, and the pasta. I *love* a plate of good pasta. I've rarely (if ever) not finished a plate of pasta. Unless I'm bleeding out my eyes or suddenly afflicted with lockjaw, I will eat whatever variety of pasta is put in front of me. And I just couldn't eat more than 1/3 of the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni alla Vodka. The Vodka sauce was very heavy, very salty, and mostly just Very ordinary. (To be honest, Rao's Vodka sauce, found at your nearest Safeway is slightly better.) The rigatoni was 1-1.5 minutes past al dente and heading towards Soft. The tableside flambe of my lobster was cute, but I'd happily dispense with the theatrics if I could just get a Good Plate of food. Why didn't I send it all back? Sorry to say, at this point we were so beaten down with salt and crushed expectations that we just wanted to leave. Service was functional. Our menu questions were answered, water glasses were refilled, and apps/entrees/sides came out correctly. No complaints. Though a more personable, engaging waiter might have helped our experience somewhat. Great service can go a long way. Nice decor and atmosphere. But as others have noted, the noise level was quite high -- especially when you're seated towards the back of the restaurant. At peak hours, it felt like an echo chamber. My husband and I were practically shouting across the table to carry a conversation. I didn't eat that much but walked out feeling bloated and like I'd consumed an enitre salt block. Ugh. The ambiance and overall setting is quite nice! Our large group came here to celebrate an upcoming marriage. There were about 12 of us total and we had reservations. We all traveled from out of town to celebrate and were quite excited to come based on the spectacular reviews. They accommodated our large group by putting us in the middle of the restaurant. It was very loud, making it hard to talk to one another and impossible to talk to those not seated directly beside us. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, providing great recommendations and input. Our meals took a while to come out to us and we thought it was because of our large group and the fact that they were busy. While it's understandable, we didn't expect dinner to be 3 hours. The food was good. No sides are included in any of the dishes, so each ordered a main dish and shared sides. Nothing blew me away and I thought many of the dishes were a bit too salty for my taste. The wine was good although there were few selections for glasses under $15. Overall, it was fun but I think I'd come back for drinks and appetizers instead of a full meal. All the service and decor of the restaurant is not rushed, very well thought out and such a wonderful investment into a new eatery. First, let me say that the food was awesome! The experience, however, was lackluster. We had a group of 10 friends gathered for a birthday dinner; some couples, some single. At no point in time did the staff mention that they can't do separate checks, so we assumed that would be the case. When we got the bill, they refused to break the tab down by individual/couple, so we had to try and do the math ourselves. Needless to say, this was both frustrating and confusing, and should have been handled by the staff. It was already late on a Wednesday night, and we spent an extra 30 minutes crunching numbers for the waiter. We recently had a party of 25 people at STK, and they were able to manage the separate checks without issue, so it's not impossible to do. Additionally, the bathrooms are shared with the hotel and take a tour guide and compass to locate. The chicken parmesan was great and supposedly serves two people, but resembles a deep dish pizza and can easily feed 4-5 people. We ended up boxing more than half of the 3 we ordered because our stomachs were at capacity. read more

They prepare oysters perfectly. Beyond the food, the service is really on the ball. We have always had great attentive servers. They are there when you need them and don't interrupt conversation when you are engaged. Bonus tip is that this is the spot to see Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Bentleys, and so much more. Try it out. I booked this reservation for a fun night with my friends. We originally wanted to do "Denver Restaurant week" but everything on the menu just sounded delicious so we decided to go with the regular menu. Our server (whose name I don't remember he looked young and fun) was very helpful. He guided us with the menu and he was not wrong! We order three different appetizers, four pasta dishes, for dessert we ordered the tiramisu and IT WAS MIND BLOWING! SO GOOD! And then they gave us complementary ice cream and it was to die for !!!! The name genuinely says it all- it's an Italian steakhouse with quality food. It's attached to the Halcyon hotel in Cherry Creek, where Departure is, and frankly Quality Italian is the better restaurant. The space itself is elegant. Decorations are simple but contemporary and keeping in style of a steakhouse. Dark wood, low lighting, etc. The only downside is that the bathroom is located outside the restaurant and downstairs in the hotel. Otherwise, no complaints about the atmosphere. Our server was very personable and friendly, and the restaurant didn't feel stuffy or pretentious. The waitstaff were excellent throughout the night, promptly refilling wine galsses and spacing the courses out expertly. Now to the good stuff. Scallop Crudo: This appetizer ate differently than any other crudo I've had. It was topped with serrano chiles and soppressata. The chiles didn't provide any heat unfortunately, and the soppressata came close to overpowering the scallops. It ate fatty and savory, not light and acidic like you expect from crudo. It was a good dish and I'm glad I tried it, but it was the weakest of everything we ordered. Spicy Lobster Rigatoni alla Vodka: One of the highlights of the meal. The lobster is flambéed table side and added to the pasta at the last second, so it stays tender and perfectly cooked. The rigatoni was almost like giant elbow macaroni shells, and while cooked well it wasn't quite al dente enough for my taste. The pasta sauce was fantastic- creamy and the right amount of heft for lobster. The mix of sun-dried and fresh cherry tomatoes gave it a simultaneous richness and acidity. They also top it with a spicy breadcrumb mixture. Really tied the dish together. Dry-Aged Porterhouse Agnolotti: These agnolotti were absolutely stuffed- the most filling I've ever seen in an agnolotti. They were dense, rich, and fatty and meaty. Along with the beef they were filled with ricotta and parmesan and served in a brown butter sauce. It all exploded in your mouth and was delicious. Dry-Aged Prime Ribeye: I usually don't go to steakhouses or order steak, because it's something I can easily do at home. But I'm glad we got the steak here. The crust and cook on the steak was perfect, and they even served the rib bone it comes on for some extra gnawing when you realize you need more steak in your life because it's that good. Corn Crème Brûlée: This was the side dish we got with the steak because it sounded fun, interesting, and delicious. I can tell you it was all three of those things. It's creamed corn that is a little thicker than usual served in a ramekin with the burnt sugar topping. The sugar gave a textural contrast to the creamed corn just like traditional crème brûlée and helped play up the sweetness of the corn. It was really enjoyable and the other highlight of the meal. Along with this meal we enjoyed a sparkling red wine. There are only a few reasonably priced bottles on the menu, I think only 3 bottles of bubbly were under $100. But the wine we had was excellent and paired nicely with our meal just like they said it would. The white russian my friend had at the end was also good, so I think you can trust the cocktails here. We had a wonderful meal here last Saturday. Our 'fine dining' group chose this as our next meeting location, and everyone was pleased. These were *serious* meat lovers; one of the ladies is a former cattle futures trader, and knows her beef. She was in heaven. What can I say ? Great food, great service, and no attitude. Not cheap. Not cheap at all. About $60-$100/person based on the wine, drinks, and who shared what. But, unlike so many expensive restaurants, I think it was worth it. Of the six of us (two men, four women) we shared two of the large meat dishes - plus some appetizers and a side of pork pasta. Excellent beef and excellent pasta. The waiter, with a strong southern accent, was charming and helpful. The service prompt and efficient. The bill, needing to be spit in a complex fashion, quickly accomplished. The space is loud and a "place to be seen". We had made reservations weeks in advance, and had a comfortable table in the back. To our surprise, seated directly behind us was a member of Denver sports royalty - yes, Peyton Manning. I saw a quiet procession of employees drifting past to gaze at the Broncos hero... and then a busboy dropped an entire tray of dishes on the edge of his table. Whoops!! Yes, it's a Cherry Creek restaurant full of beautiful people spending more money on a bottle of wine then some people make in a month. But, unlike some, (Del Frisco Grille comes to mind) they don't have the attitude that comes with it. This place is amazing! Our server was exceptional. He was extremely attentive without being intrusive. He knew just when to check on us. The food was really outstanding. The steak was tender and delicious. Tim was ready when we cut into it to insure it was cooked perfectly. The octopus was very well prepared. Crispy outside and cooked through inside but not chewy! You can really tell that everything is made fresh from quality ingredients. The chefs truly put love into every dish and their passion came through in every plate. Waste of money, time and poor service. There is nothing positive I can say about the quality of the food. The staff was not friendly and the wait time for food was ridiculous. I could have walked to Whole Foods, prepared my own meal in about the time it took to get our appetizers. Chewy/ dripping Fat Porterhouse steak, tuna that did not taste fresh and seafood shells In the pasta. I wish I could tell you the pizza was good, but the table next to us sent theirs back. After looking at other reviews I can't help but notice they seem to have some 4-5 stars and some 1-2 starts. They do not have the quality figured out. Came here with a party of ten people with three traveling from out of town. Pros: seafood tower was delicious and the most memorable part of the night. Pork chop looked delicious and tasted such per my friend. Filet mignon looked good and tasted such per the two that ordered it. Beef for two special looked and tasted good per the two that ordered it. Bread they bring is delicious but olive oil without balsamic vinegar did not complement the bread well. Cons: Very weird internal decorating: paintings flipped around, creepy old pictures on the walls, very dim lighting despite countless requests to make it brighter by our party and two parties around us. Server (Phil) was rude until he realized how much did we we ordering. Food took a really long time to come to the table and even when it did come out was way too dark to see it. Dinner took nearly three and a half hours. 16 oz ribsteak was very thin and slightly overcooked for all three people that ordered it but we all didn't want to wait who knows how long another (server did ask though). My husband and I came to this restaurant for our 5th wedding anniversary. First of all, I want to let you know I always try to find positive things in people or life events or in RESTAURANTS. So Should I start with things that are not so good and finish my review with something more positive? 1. Our server was not so thrilled that we did not order multiple entrees. He sounded like that he was not happy that we didn't order enough food and even stated that the 'food is served as courses'. Whatever that was supposed to mean. We are not big eaters and we often order lots of small plates to share and order more beverages. He is not the worst server, but his attitude needs some adjustments. We spent 75 bucks a person and he got a generous tip. Not sure we were the problem and simply didn't appreciate the attitude. 2. I would like to suggest that they should use different glass for Gin or hard liquor with no color. One of the servers poured water into my husband's Gin. This is totally a innocent mistake. 3. Food was very good except for Brussel sprouts. Sauce was good but the poor spouts were doing the backstroke and it was hard to eat the last few who seemed to drown. Their house made limoncello was tasty . The ambience was very nice and romantic. I understand from the name " Quality Italian" that they want to deliver the high quality experience and food. I would like to see the better service and attitude next time we visit. I believe what customers remember is a good experience than good tasty food. I would give zero stars if I could. Our server was incredibly rude, and refused to serve me alcohol at my 21st birthday dinner with my family, even though I had a passport and a vertical driver's license (because I didn't have a horizontal one, being that it was the day of my birthday). Food took an hour to come out, and it was incredibly overpriced and mediocre. If you don't want to waste a lot of money for an underwhelming meal and experience, I would recommend going anywhere else. read more

Wow. I am thrilled this place is here in Denver! Me and my husband were blown away at the beauty of the restaurant and decor. The menu had so many yummy options, I just didn't know what to get! We started with the seafood appetizer that was SO GOOOOOOD. Shrimp cocktail, crab salad, tuna, yellow tail... wow. So fresh and the flavors were on point. I ordered the lemon chicken alan for my meal and was in heaven EVERY. SINGLE. BITE. Talk about a flavor explosion. Very moist and the lemon added such a unique texture and bite! My favorite part of this meal was... THE GARLIC MUSHROOMS. I could not stop!! I could barely share them with the table. LOL. Our server, Chris Dominey was wonderful and knew so much about great wine options and what the menu had to offer.He was very professional but funny! The manager Jamie was so nice and kept checking on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal (which we totally were). I cannot wait to go back and order the chicken parm! I guess the name says it all. Our first experience here was great. Great atmosphere. Great quality food. Great service. We shared the rolled lasagna which was an interesting and tasty take on an old staple. The couple next to us ordered a steak dish to share which came out a little too well to their liking. After telling the waiter, the chef insisted on replacing the entire meal with a rarer cut. This turned out to be delicious, for the gracious couple allowed me to sample since there was so much angus to be had. Our waiter was great, explained wines to us, allowed me to sample selections above my pay grade and was all around attentive and informative. Went last week and was quite disappointed. Our waiter was short and snarky and apologized for being under staffed. The food quality was laughable for the price. Just shy of $200 for 3 people with drinks (one drink each) and one of us didn't even make a dent in the lobster pasta dish which was (get this) Sweet! Blegh, who makes a sugary lobster pasta dish? Anyhow, our waiter didn't care to ask why it wasn't eaten and why it was not being taken home. I did notice that it's called Quality Itialian Steak House. There are some amazing Itialian food restaurants in Denver, I don't know why I would ever elect to go back. Check out Panzano, Bar Dough, Shells and Sauce et al. Wonderful intimate place for a romantic dinner! Housemade ricotta and calamari were out of this world.

I have been here twice and I have loved it both times! The food is delicious, my only issue here is the service. The service has been pretty slow every time, but I still come back for the food. Sausage and pepper garlic toast: sounds really basic but is actually really delicious. Definitely worth a try. Paccheri Amatriciana: my go to pasta dish. Everything about it is delicious. Me being from Las Vegas and being in Denver for the first time, I've heard some nice things about this place...so had to see for myself. Ultra modern, classy, staff are on point with service. Amazing! They treat you like your important, and we should be. The table side making of their in house steak sauce is sweet, but I did like it. Their bread was excellent and different. Stepping into the place reminded me of being at home. The steaks are good, came out as desired, and staff...like I said, I'm extremely impressed. Great job guys your awesome. I'd been hearing about this restaurant for awhile and decided to make a last minute reservation at 5:30pm on a Friday. The service was friendly, food came out quickly and everything was delicious! I did feel a bit rushed, but am guessing they just wanted the table. Our dinner still took 2 hours. We had the lobster vodka pasta and Salmon for our entrees and they were great, the guacamole appetizer and Cesar salad were amazing as well. My relative had the Branzino and I didn't hear any complaints. My favorite thing is the ambience and the interior design. It's a very cool space. Enjoy! read more
