Had lunch here today after hearing how much my daughter enjoys coming with my father. It was great! Our 1st concern was my being able to access the restaurant due to being on the 2nd floor, as I'm wheelchair reliant. The elevator worked just fine and is right next to this spot. We were quickly greeted by a lovely woman. Her nickname is "Happy". This nickname is indeed fitting for her. Very sweet, glowing smile, and incredibly hospitable. Watching her, she was swift to keep everything tidy and ensure customers had everything they wanted right away. The entire staff was very friendly. We ordered 7 of the dishes. We enjoyed all of it. Many items to choose from. My personal favorite was the quail. It was juicy, delicate, and flavorful. All of the portions generous in size.

Great spot for late night seafood eats! Things we ordered: Quails with garlic butter sauce: this was not as juicy as I've had it at other places, but decent Crispy rice with pork sung and Chinese sausages: my friend wanted this and it was good, but nothing too special Grilled scallops: these were good! But too much peanuts on top in my opinion. Escargot: it was my first time trying snails and I forgot which one we ordered exactly but it was BOMB. It just takes a lot of effort getting a tiny bit of meat out, which is kind of disappointing Goat hot pot: this one is really good for a cold/windy night. It comes with a lot of vegetables and noodles for you to cook inside. The broth is rich and flavorful. They do charge for you to refill the broth, which you most likely have to do since there's a lot of things to cook. For 3 people, we spent about $40 per person, which is not too expensive for seafood I guess. Service was really nice and it's shared in a big plaza with a lot of parking. I would definitely take my family and boyfriend here!

Seafood here is fresh. I had wanted to try the snail and the coconut snail did not disappoint. It's a little hard to eat and you don't get a lot of meat but the flavor of the coconut broth was bomb. The grilled shrimp has a sweet spicy coating on the shell. The shrimp meat itself was sweet as well. The abalone with garlic was good. I dipped it in the salt, pepper, lime sauce for some added flavor. The red clam was so yummy. I think they cook it on a bbq grill in its own juices. Comes out hot on a hot plate. Overall the food is great. Will be back to try other dishes.

This place is a little hidden gen in sgv. There is actually no food like this place around here. It's like OC Vietnamese tapas in El monte. The beef salad is awesome a must order, I didn't get picture. #16 you can't go wrong, escargot with garlic butter, grill shrimp, clams with lemongrass. Prob the best Vietnamese drinking food in sgv and the people that run it are super nice.

New Management serving authentic Vietnamese food and beer food, great place for some friends gathering around for some good times, the grilled shrimp is the bomb, and all the food is very good

I love vietnamese style snails and shellfish that I often go down to Garden Grove just to eat some. Was excited I found something similar near by but was HUGELY DISSAPOINTED. The restaurant was located upstairs. One wall in this restaurant is covered with filth from top to bottom I'm not sure if it's oil or beer or what but it's gross. The food was barely edible. We ordered Garlic Butter Escargot, scallops, and some clams. Each dish was flavorless and the texture was like I was eating rubber. The Escargot was especially bad that at one point I was so disgusted everything wanted to come back up. After the experience I will happily drive down an hour or two to Garden Grove to get my fill of vietnamese style Escargot and shellfish.

We had a yummy meal here at this specialty Seafood Vietnamese restaurant. I saw someone post a video of the Scallops & Shrimp rolls on Facebook and knew I had to get here! I am in love with Scallops and shrimp! We came by for dinner and it wasn't too crowded. It's a medium sized restaurant with a small side room with 1 large table. The menu consists of seafood items and specialty items like escargot, clams, grilled seafood, abalone, squid & scorched rice. I haven't seen these items on other Vietnamese restaurants and they don't serve pho here. Grilled Scallops - this was super delicious! I've never tried scallops grilled in the shell before, it had a great taste. It was topped with peanuts, fried onions & green onions Shrimp tempura - shrimp wrapped with won ton skin & fried, loved it Scorched rice - sticky rice pan fried in coconut oil then topped with pork sung, Chinese sausage & green onions, kinda reminded me of pizza! It was delicious. The restaurant had a relaxed lounge feel, some people were playing the dice games and lots of beer flowing. Parking was easy to find as they are located on the 2nd floor of the plaza. It's easy to see from the street. Recommended.

Not a professional run restaurant, staff wears tight dresses and heels, and lady staff grabs my husband's arm, and sat at the table to table. Go figure. Food is so so, dishes are dirty, tables are dirty, price is high for the food, slow food service and services in general. Smoking is allowed inside, it freaks me out. The karaoke thing is fine, loud, it's up to you. So no more coming back.

They have a lot of tables inside so it is great for small and large groups. The waiters were also fast even though they were busy. We ordered their Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Tofu, Beef Noodle, Shrimp w Walnut, and Vegetable w Garlic. We decided not to get lobster since it was pricey. They took our order pretty fast and gave tea to drink. The pot of white rice is extra $1 if you order though. And their menu book doesn't have prices for some reason. Only the to-go menu has prices. Food was served in a decent amount of time, around 15 minutes. And all dishes arrived close together so we didn't have to wait long. The kung pao chicken is so good! Not spicy at all and very nice and crispy with good seasoning. It tasted delicious with some rice. The beef noodles were also delicious! It had good wok taste and was very flavorful. The tofu and shrimp were also good. None of the dishes were too salty and all were seasoned well and in pretty big portions, though I don't remember the exact price since they took the receipt away when we paid. But the meal was very worth and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Such a yummy meal! I really enjoyed it! I am definitely coming back again!

My family and I used to religiously eat lobster noodles whenever we made a trip down to SoCal. The pick of the bunch was 100% Newport Seafood- no negotiations, no contemplations. Unfortunately, the last handful of times have left me extremely disappointed and heavily annoyed. The cost and wait times do not reflect what is actually being provided and most of our food ends up being left behind because it simply isn't worth the calories. In all honestly, I've grown a phobia w/ that specific restaurant at this point because of the countless letdowns. My initial taste of Boston Lobster was about 3 years ago and I had the most enjoyable meal. Due to our LA trip coming to an end, my BD thought we should do it big with some lobster noodles- for good old time's sake. I absolutely refused to go anywhere unless we would be giving Boston Lobster a visit! Sure enough, they did not disappoint! Dinner for 3 adults and 1 toddler consisted of: *Boston House Special Lobster [no spice] + Garlic Noodles for an additional fee. Medium Size 5-6lbs minimally. *French Style Beef Cube *Sauteed Snow Pea Leaves We ate like mf'n KINGS!! Each and every dish was spectacular- even the greens! While we should have gone with the small sized lobster, I'm proud to say we went down with an honorable fight. Lmao!! The lobster was cooked to perfection- meat was sweet, succulent, and so darn tender. The garlic noodles soaked up all of the delicious lobster flavors and were not overcooked and mush. The bo luc lac was flavorful, juicy, and complimented the bed of lettuce, onions, & tomatoes so well. The snow pea leaves weren't tough and old- this truly was a simply yet magical dish. Service was on point and the staff continually came by to swap out our plates full of lobster shells. Above all, there was no wait with our initial arrival. Parking is easy given the fact that BL has a pretty big parking lot specifically for them. 5/5 stars!! We dropped over 3 bills here and it didn't even hurt. Lmao- this place is that damn good! Don't sleep on this joint, y'all. Boston Lobster is the real deal when it comes to authentic Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine. This spot should be so much more hyped than it actually is!

The oysters were fresh, mostly clean, and came with the usual accompaniments. My only minor complaint is that small seafood forks would have been nice to have available. The mussels and clams were the disappointment of the meal. While the broth itself was flavorful, the portion was downright sad. We received only 4 mussels and 4 clams total, and the bowl felt almost empty. The standout was definitely the fish and chips. Dare I say the best fish and chips I've ever had? The batter was well-seasoned without being overly salty. The fish was crispy, hot, flaky, and surprisingly not too greasy. The fries were also excellent, with a crunchy exterior and fluffy, mashed potato-like interior. I would absolutely order this again. Overall, for happy hour, come for the fresh oysters and fish and chips. Skip the embarrassingly skimpy bowl of mussels and clams.

We were seated right away when we arrived, although it took a while before anyone came to take our order. We started with the sizzling razor clams, and honestly, they were the highlight of the meal, perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and a great start. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and it really missed the mark. Several ingredients felt poorly prepared. The tendon was so tough it was basically inedible and had to be pushed aside. The pork blood tasted like it had been cooked separately since it had none of the broth flavor soaked into it. Even the beef slices felt out of place, almost like they had been pulled from a pho bowl and dropped into the BBH at the last minute. The broth itself lacked the richness, spice, and strong lemongrass flavor that normally makes Bun Bo Hue stand out. It just tasted flat. There was also a mix-up with our order when the wrong dish came out instead of the lobster. When the lobster finally arrived, it was badly overcooked and much smaller than what was shown on the menu. On top of that, the music was blasting the entire time, no one really checked in to see how things were going, and it took multiple attempts just to get our check. When we mentioned the food issues, the response was basically, "We'll let the chef know." Not exactly the kind of service you hope for after a disappointing meal. Really wanted to like this place, especially after such a strong start with the razor clams, but overall it ended up being a letdown.

My go-to place for sashimi platters and fresh seafood pick up for family parties like Thanksgiving…read moreand Christmas! I usually place an order through their Instagram DMs a few weeks in advance for holidays. You can ask for their excel spreadsheet and they'll send it to you with prices and this same spreadsheet updates every year! There is also a little deposit for holiday pick up depending on the size of your order. Their sashimi platter is beautiful, fresh, delicious, and always a party favorite. I usually get: Salmon, Toro, Yellowtail, Scallops, and Oysters. If available, uni trays and fresh wasabi (which can also be picked up at HMart). Scallops are my favorite but every piece of fish is so good and cut perfectly. Parking and pick up is easy. It is a very small store front with one party inside at a time and pay at the counter. Highly recommend for party platters for fresh sashimi.
