As of May 31, 2026. They put a "we are closed" note at the walk way probably so you don't walk up to to see this

We've always seen a crowd waiting for seats when we drive by. We finally decided to go with a couple group of family members this past Sunday 5/31/2026, I arrived at 10:30am to get a seat/number and there was so much parking!...come to find a yellow caution tape with a handwritten "WE ARE CLOSED" note blocking the WALKWAY to the entrance. I ducked past the tape and saw a "vermin infestation" note from the health department. No idea how long the closure will be but I'm still gonna visit once they re-open. We ended up going to Longo Seafood which was okay but could've been better in terms of flavor.

Had a really really great experience last week. So I needed a reservation for a large party (25ish), and looking at the Yelp reviews, I had some concerns about my reservation falling through if I made one. Anyway I call about 2 weeks ahead of time to make a reservation and was able to get one for Sunday 12:45pm. A week prior, I called again just to confirm and they still had my reservation. They informed me to show up early to check in. Once the day came, I checked in early and they had everything ready for me. They opened one table first while they were clearing the other 2 and allowed my party to sit down first. We were able to order and pay via 3 separate tables smoothly. Food was great like always. You order on a sheet and people come by to drop off the food. Everything was so good! The only thing I will say though is, they don't really speak mandarin or English. English is better than mandarin, but their main language is Cantonese. So be prepared for language barriers and some employees speak certain languages better than others. But we had such a great experience as a large party and will definitely be back!

Can't believe I grew up in LA and never visited here... moved to the Bay Area and love the dim sum there but Sea Harbour is even better than that! It is especially crowded, busy, and noisy on the weekends but thankfully our group of 9 somehow managed to get the private room in the back! So much more peaceful with quality service providing refills and bringing the dim sum. Everything they made had a great blend of flavors and the buns in particular had a wonderful fluffiness with delicious fillings. Parking can be hard though so street parking a block or so over works.

For Lunar New Year, my family and I came here to celebrate and ordered a variety of dishes to share. The restaurant was very crowded, and we waited about an hour to be seated, which is understandable for a holiday. Overall, the food tasted really good. The restaurant is spacious, which is especially nice for a dim sum spot. The service was also good; the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our visit. It was actually our first time coming here, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think their dim sum is quite good compared to other places. One thing I really liked was how thin the noodle skin was, especially on the shrimp rolls and other dishes that use rice noodle wraps; it made everything taste more delicate and fresh. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely consider coming back.

This establishment is very quick with service, attentive, and the food was so delicious. The wait is worth it. I would definitely come back and eat here again. Good portions, price are good. My Fav dishes were the Black bean spare ribs, wet noodle (seafood), chicken feet. Everything was delicious. Next time I want to come for the shrimp dumping.

I'm going to say it - best dim sum for the price in California. And before you say SF has good dim sum, not at sea harbour's level or price. My credentials? Hong Kong born and grew up eating LOTS of Cantonese food and dim sum. Sea harbour does put a nice twist on the iconic dishes - truffle siu mai, french style baked char siu bao. When you're here, you're here for the food, not the service, but that doesn't matter when I'm fighting over the last har gow with my cousin. Was here for a family dinner recently, and their seafood is fresh and prepared to perfection. Come for the dim sum, stay for the geoduck

Sea Harbour consistently proves why it's a true institution for high quality, authentic Cantonese style cuisine. Their weekend dim sum was so good I ordered a lot of dim sum for 2 of us , and everything was delicious. I was honestly surprised when I got the bill , it was much cheaper than I expected! If I had eaten the same amount at my favorite dim sum spot in Irvine, it would have cost more. The atmosphere is lively and bustling, perfect for family gatherings, though it can get quite noisy when crowded. Service is efficient and attentive, with tea refilled constantly and dishes arriving quickly and piping hot. Parking can be a challenge, so be prepared to hunt for a spot, especially on busy weekends.

This dim sum spot is always poppin' with long lines. There's always a crowd whenever I drive by, but we decided to finally make our way over. There a decent sized parking lot in the back and I didn't have any trouble finding a spot on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, the seating took much longer. They do have a digital screen showing your check-in time organized by table sizes, which is nice. For a table of 5, we waited almost an hour. You get a sheet to mark down your orders from dim sum to entrees. The menu has pictures, which is super helpful if you're not as familiar. We ordered 9 dim sum dishes and one Sparerib & Chinese Sausage Rice Casserole ($16.80). This is delicious with the crispy rice edges and flavor great on the tender meat. All the dim sum dishes ranged from $5-10 each and everything was good. I have to say that the dishes here are slightly more unique than your usual dim sum though, which feels more elevated. Some favorites are the Salted Egg Yolk Buns, Steamed Rice Noodle with Chinese Donut & Shrimp, Deep Fried Pork Dumplings, and Egg White Custard Tarts.

Sea Harbor Restaurant serves some of the best dim sum in the SGV. The restaurant is very busy on the weekends; we waited over an hour from 11:10am to around 12:20pm for a table for four on a busy Sunday. The wait list is divided into sections of 3 and under, 4 to 6, 7 to 8 and 9 plus. Longest wait is for the two smaller groupings and can be an hour or more in the middle of a busy weekend. Suggest coming in a large group as you'll be seated quickly. A table of 7 was seated in five minutes. Sea Harbor is a typical dim sum house as the place is loud, workers are busy but very competent - always checking on your teapot, checking on you if you look like you want to order more, and quick to bring missing items if you say you're still waiting or want to cancel an item. LOL, I looked at our checked off order sheet twice during our meal and a lady came running over each time to ask if we wanted to order more. Ha ha, we ordered 15 items for the four of us with three small boxes to take home. Can be pricey as we spent $150 with tax and tip for the four of us. Favorite items were the Runny Salted Egg Lava Buns, Truffle Siu Mai, Scallop & Shrimp Dumpling, the Abalone Sauce Tofu (should be hotter), the French Style BBQ Bun (had bigger and warmer elsewhere), and the Chicken Feet. All of the other items were passable with least favorite being the Steamed Black Bean Pork Riblets (Bland), Har Guow / Shrimp Dumpling (small and bland), and Hom Sei Gok / Fried Meat Dumpling (not hot, a bit flattened, and not crunchy exterior) and Egg White Tart (egg white is probably better for you but bland as heck). Overall: crowded, loud, you will wait, decent dim sum, not the cleanest since they have such high volume, and surprisingly very attentive service even when busy. The restaurant has a large parking lot and adjacent street parking on busy Rosemead or nearby side streets. Expect to wait for a table on the weekends if you're in a small group.

A solid 3.5/5. I would highly recommend calling ahead to place a takeout order or to make a reservation for dining in. Some of the workers are more willing to help and provide decent service, while others, like the cashier, were not friendly. I ordered takeout, and they didn't even let me know that my order was ready until I went up to ask again about 25-30 minutes later. My favorite items were the steamed chicken feet, the steamed rice noodle with Chinese donut and shrimp, and the bean curd skin roll with seafood in abalone sauce. In addition, the steamed lava salted egg yolk bun was pretty good, and the buns were nice and soft. On the other hand, the pork and shrimp dumpling with truffle sauce, as well as the shrimp dumpling (har gow), were decent, but the portions were much smaller than expected, especially the har gow. It was quite tiny, and considering the price, it wasn't worth it for me. They have their own parking lot, but it fills up pretty quickly, so plan ahead.

I'm afraid to give it a 5 star because it will ruin the perfect 3.5 star (IYKYK). Be sure to make a reservation and/or get there early. There is a line that forms before opening. We had a group of 20+, wifey made reservations, and seated right away. We ordered everything on the menu but the black truffle shumai was a highlight, as well as the healthy chicken feet. All dishes were great but if I were to pass on one, it would be the labaco. No option for pan fried and too thick. I'm only giving it a four because I don't want to change the 3.5 star (Asian perfect) rating.

Came here when they opened on a Saturday morning, and was directed to stand in line with everyone else who didn't have reservations even when we had reservations. The process/system was a little confusing. Either way come early, the line wraps around the building during open, but it felt like it went by quick. The dim sum was great. The truffle siu mai, gold flake salty egg buns, and shrimp dumplings all tasted as delicious as they looked or were hyped up to be. Busy atmosphere, just as you'd expect any dim sum place to be. They don't push carts here. Waited awhile after getting our table to get started. Had to wave down staff to get their attention to get water, tea, and place our order. Had to ask for some things multiple times before getting it.

    Laura L.

Came on Christmas Day for lunch, and it was packed! The wait was estimated 2 hours, so we decided to skip the line and get take out. We waited around 20 minutes for the food. I'd recommend the truffle shumai, steamed rice noodle with Chinese donut & shrimp, house no. 1 baked bbq pork bun, and sticky rice wrapped with lotus leaf. Everything else was good but didn't stand out as much as the ones above. I also saw lots of people at the restaurant order the radish cakes and the steamed lava salty egg yolk bun! Will order those next time! Service - you'll need to be aggressive to get your order. It seems like they're fairly fast when bringing out food! Parking - they have their own private lot, but when it gets packed (which it does), you'll need to park on the street.

I would recommend getting the salt and pepper pork chop - my dad says this is literally better than most places we've gone to. I think they season the batter, which is how its so flavorful. We also typically get the eggplant, which comes in a huge plate and comes with rice. My dad likes their curry but I'm not super excited about it. Its good, but not exciting, if you know what I mean. Service is typically pretty good. They move around pretty quickly and food typically comes out pretty quickly too. I would spend about 50-60 dollars and its enough food to last two people maybe an additional 2 or 3 meals, especially since most dishes come with a dish of white rice. The rice isn't great, like it's kind of dry, but its free so no complaints here.

The sweet and sour fish used to be lightly battered and nice and meaty. On my last visit, it was heavily battered and you could barely taste the fish. I'm not sure if they changed chefs, but the difference in quality is definitely noticeable. It's disappointing because I really like the staff. They're always friendly and provide great service. OBVIOULSY, I and was pleasantly surprised by how well everything was prepared. The drinks were excellent...especially the Iced Tea and Hong Kong Coffee Milk Tea. I really appreciated that neither drink was overly sweet, allowing the tea and coffee flavors to shine through. One detail that stood out was how thoughtfully the food was served because the sauce for the fish and walnut shrimp was kept separate instead of being poured over the dishes. This helped maintain the texture and prevented everything from getting soggy before it reached the table. The pork we ordered was tender, flavorful, and most importantly, not greasy or overly salted. The skin wasn't hard ans overly crunchy. The crunch was light. My favorite dish of the meal was the string beans with ground meat. The beans were cooked just right with plenty of flavor, making it the standout dish for me. The staff were also wonderful throughout the meal. I came with a large group of 7 adults and 4 kids on a very busy night, with a crowd waiting outside the restaurant. Despite how packed it was, service moved steadily and dishes came out in a timely manner. Most of the food felt very homey -- the kind of comforting dishes that reminded me of meals my grandmother used to make. That first visit was pleasant enough that I decided to bring my dad back specifically to try their signature Vietnamese lobster dish. Unfortunately, the second visit turned out to be disappointing. We intentionally came for lunch to avoid the dinner rush and were seated within 5 minutes. The restaurant was only about 75% occupied. Drinks arrived quickly, and we ordered salt and pepper tiger shrimp, green beans, and the house special lobster with an extra order of e-mein noodles on the side. Our server briefly returned with a live lobster in a metal bowl, mumbled "4 pounds," and walked away. A few minutes later, the shrimp and green beans arrived along with rice. We ate, waited, and continued waiting. By the time we had completely finished the two dishes -- probably about 25 minutes later -- nobody had checked on us, updated us about the lobster dish, or even acknowledged the delay. We finally flagged down another staff member and asked for the check because at that point the lobster still had not arrived and we were ready to leave. We asked if the lobster could simply be removed from the bill, but were told it was already being prepared. Ironically, the lobster dish finally appeared moments later, the e-mein noodle followed a few minutes later. For what is marketed as their signature dish, the lobster itself was honestly not very memorable. The preparation with green onion and basil was interesting since it was our first time trying lobster this way, but neither the flavor nor the presentation justified the long wait (if that's what it was or just an oversight in the kitchen) or elevated expectations. What stood out more than the food was the lack of service and communication. Delays happen, especially at busy restaurants, but a quick check-in or update would have made a big difference. The restaurant also automatically adds a 12% service charge to the bill. While automatic gratuities are becoming more common, and in this case, I even added extra just to bring the tip up to 15%. With that expectation, there should also be a basic level of attentiveness and customer service. Overall, the food and service felt comparable to a typical Chinese comfort-food restaurant like Sam Woo, satisfying enough for a casual meal, but not particularly memorable considering the Michelin Guide recognition and pricing. Personally, the experience did not justify a return visit. I'd rather go to places like Lunasia or Kim Tar Seafood, where the overall experience feels more polished and consistent with the price point.

[Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are #1 Shrimp Har Gow, #6 Chicken Feet, #5 Spare Rib in Garlic Sauce, #3 Shrimp Shiu Mai, #31 Fried Sugar Cane Shrimp, #17 Shrimp Rice Roll, and #9 Steamed BBQ Pork Bun / #25 Baked BBQ Pork Bun. Tea = $1 per person. *** #1 Shrimp Har Gow ($7.70) & #3 Shrimp Shiu Mai ($7.70): All pieces were juicy and flavorful. #5 Spare Rib in Garlic Sauce ($7.70): A solid option with squash pieces. #6 Chicken Feet ($7.70): Amazing texture - the skin fell apart very easily. *** Overall the food was a bit expensive, but the quality was excellent and comparable to Lunasia. This is a great spot for people who don't care too much about certain amenities or somewhat hefty prices and simply want high-quality food (or consider the takeout option instead).

We come here for the low price wonton noodles, steamed spareribs on steamed rice, and the beef rice…read morenoodle rolls. We also order their HK style lemon iced tea. It's pretty good here and they have complimentary refills! They're known for their rice noodle rolls here and you can order them, along with their small dim sum menu, all day long. The wonton noodles here were just $13.98! They come with 5 large wontons and vegetables over wonton noodles. I always recommend adding chili oil. The steamed spareribs on steamed rice have some bones, just like the ones you find at dim sum. But there's a lot of meat in the steamed rice bowl for a single person. Free parking in rear parking lot. Entrance at the front on Garvey Ave. They have 2 entrances in front now. Left door for to-go orders and right door for dine-in.

Searched randomly in yelp and found this place and this was absolutely a great choice…read more Parking is at the back of the building which is shared with the other establishments. The staff are great, communication wise, it was a good service. They don't hover around your table. They let you eat in peace then check back every now and then. We ordered several dishes and each and every one of them were tasty. We came before lunch hour so not sure how busy this place gets. Are we going back? Absolutely! This is on my list to go especially for a weekend out.
