I love this restaurant. I've been going to it for years. Great service and food. But for the last three weeks the food has been disappointing. I've had to return both chicken and pasta dishes. Been here many times over the past 5-6 years and always liked the food. But, recently, the food is just okay/average and the service has gone way downhill. We watched people all around us being served while we were kept waiting from our drinks to our salad to our main course. Literally took over an hour to get our main dishes. A new friend and I met for lunch here, and I was anxious because it's a pretty large menu. I usually associate a large menu with mediocre, not so fresh food. Well, although I hate to admit it, I was wrong. My friend ordered veal smothered in pancetta & fontina. I ordered a garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette and rigatoni with meat sauce. My friend loved her dish, and the portion was reasonable. My rigatoni dish was ample, the pasta had a bite to it, and the sauce was loaded with meat. It was a bit salty, but I still couldn't stop eating it. Of course, we had a nice cup of Lavazza coffee. The waitstaff is excellent and well versed in the menu. I cannot wait to go back to try more of the $10 and $15 lunch menu options. She and I also agreed to return for dinner as this is clearly a hot spot for evenings and weekends. Very good, not great, Italian food, although some of the wait staff is a bit inexperienced (for instance, the waiter couldn't tell us if they had some type of Italian meat and cheese appetizer, yet when we got menus there was a salumi app and a cheese w/ peppers app - both very good). It should be noted that I am not a pasta person, I still believe normally it is a delivery mechanism for the other aspects of the dish... I had the veal with prosciutto, eggplant, cheese, and a sauce... Very good although the breaded aspect of the eggplant soaked up lots of olive oil and that isn't my thing. The braised beef with gnocchi was fantastic all around. The short rib stuffed ravioli was decent, although it didn't have a lot of taste. Very light pasta and veggies though, which was good. The nonna pasta stuffed with cheese was decent, better than the ravioli; very creamy sauce with what I believe was prosciutto. They don't take reservations for less than 6 on fri and sat, but the bar at the back is nice and there is a decent italian wine list. If pasta is your thing, this place won't disappoint. read more

I hate to say this but I honestly had a terrible experience. After being seated we waited too long for our drinks then a homeless man came inside the outdoor seating area and began to beg for money while a worker watched then mins later decided to help. 30 mins after being seated a worker offered us bread. The food was bland and took forever service was slow and we had about 5 different workers come to our table over 20 times throughout dinner. The food was such poor quality we had to ask for an item it to be removed from the bill since we couldn't eat it. They gave us pasta on side($10.00) with about a cup of the dirty pasta water still in the bowl. I've been dining at this restaurant for years and their menu has basically stayed the same. Usually everything is very good and their porcini mushroom pasta dish has always been a standout but tonight I felt like the pasta orchetti with meatballs which also has always been very good. Tonight the portion seemed smaller; a big bowl with a smaller portion isn't the most visually pleasing. The pasta was good but the meatballs were sub par which detracted from the overall quality of the dish. We just moved to Fairfield after 2+ years in Bergen County, NJ and Quattro Pazzi was not only our first dinner out in our new town but our first night out alone since the birth of our daughter. Expectations were high and this place delivered. Thank god. We were seated right away and the service was good. It's a VERY busy place and very loud with a large bar area and big TVs. That's a drawback for me. They should tint the glass between the bar and dining area so those big screens don't detract from the dining experience. I say this because the food was fantastic and should be the main attraction. We had a salad and two excellent pasta dishes and a couple drinks. Rigatoni and Broccoli, Shrimp with sun-dried tomato in a pink sauce, Eggplant Parmesan are my favorites. Went on a Monday night and there was half priced wine bottles which was great. Good date night spot if you want to throw down a little more money and have a special evening. Been coming here for a long time but recently this place has deteriorated. It used to be very popular and crowded but lately it seems more tables are empty than full. The menu rarely changes, but it used to be dependable that you'd get a solid meal here,no longer. We have ordered food that was not cooked adequately more than once and the manager doesn't even offer anything to make up for it. There seems to be a lot of turnover with the servers and the recent hires don't check to see if your satisfied with your dish and often stand around doing nothing. This is one of the most consistently delicious restaurants in Fairfield. Went here for dinner last night. I enjoyed the fettucini mitty which was a light delicious blend of seafood in a creamy tomato sauce. Wife enjoyed the seared scallops over mushroom risotto. We had a very smooth Argentinian malbec alongside dinner. My friend had the pappardelle bolognese which was a perfect al dente pasta with a mildly spicy bolognese sauce. Everyone was universally satisfied with their meal and if we had more room, we would have loved to try some dessert. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is fun, yet a little loud. The bar is basically next to the main dining area. Not really a great place for young kids as there's not much room to run around or for highchairs. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Pastas are all under $20, entrees are generally not more than $25. It's a fun, lively vibe and a pretty casual setting. Server never introduced himself, only gave half of us menus, never asked us how our food was, never talked to us at all after taking our orders. This is what happens when the servers are guaranteed a gratuity and they don't need to work for it. Quattro Pazzi Cafe has really, really good pasta dishes! The fresh pasta stands out as do their well thought out sauces / dishes. I love the Fettuccine alla Mitty. The pink cognac sauce is nice and sweet and does a nice job complimenting the seafood in this dish. My wife usually gets the Paglia e Fieno Forestiere since she really likes the sauce. As for the restaurant itself, it is a nice, cozy (tight ) place that can be a little on the noisy side. read more

We enjoyed the filet medallions with gnocchi and the salmon. we had some appetizers, desserts, and wine... which was all great, but what I'm really wanting to rave about is the filet medallions. that was the BEST steak of ANY cut that I've ever had in my life. I would gladly pay twice the price for that meal. the side of my fork slipped through that steak like it was mashed potato. Have you ever had a meal that had you repeating "oh my god, this is too good" every other bite? I just couldn't stop praising it. The portions were large enough to stuff us full that night and still have enough left over for entire meals the next night. I can't wait to come back next summer. PLEASE come to Boca Raton. This place has been around many years and this was my first time trying it. I tried the Uber x delivery service which was pretty efficient. Food was very middle of the road Italian. I ordered the gnocchi Bolognese and penne vodka. Food was fresh but lacked flavor. Fried Calamari had a strong dish scent. Chicken parm was decent. This would be a good place for take out on a regular basis but I cannot come to terms to spend $91.00 for two pasta dishes? Chicken parm, friend mozzarella. My family and I have eaten regularly at Quattro Pazi. I have never had a bad meal there and have eaten everything on the menu. We go regularly because of the quality of the food and the service. Many of the servers have been there for years. Brava use it's small it gets quite loud. Our favorite appetizers are the calamari and eggplant. Favorite salad is the beet salad with goat cheese. Our favorite entrees are the veal, salmon, and Parmesan encrusted sole. The many pasta dishes are incredible including the gnocchi bolognese and fettuccini Mitty. Always consistent and great. You can't go wrong. They don't take reservations, so after 7pm expect to wait 30 mins or so. But enjoy a drink at the bar and relax. read more

We really enjoyed our meal last night! The food was outstanding. I had the Veal Sorrentino and my husband had the Fettuccini Mitty. Both were wonderful. I only wish that the veal had a small pasta side with it. The service was fantastic as well. If you don't want to wait to be seated, arrive a little earlier than you normally would for a Saturday as they don't take reservations. This is my new favorite local restaurant. My family was so impressed that they do an advertised vegan night every Wednesday, so we had to go. We are especially impressed because Italian food can be difficult to make vegan. We all loved our meals! We had the Farrotto, Burger, Gnocchi, and Stuffed Eggplant, plus a (not-so-Italian) Buffalo Cauliflower. It was perfectly seasoned and perfectly hot. On the down-side - and we're being picky because we're chefs - there was very little protein. We didn't miss it at all, but many other customers might. And the desserts were a good try, but could have been better. The blueberry panna cotta was very wet, and the tira mi us was really a cheesecake. The whole dinner was a splurge for my family, but we will definitely go back and bring more friends and family with us. This wasn't "vegan food;" It was Italian food, made without animals. The vegan world needs more authentic food like this, and the omnivore world definitely needs to try this. UPDATE: Sadly, they have discontinued their vegan night, so we won't be going back. To bad. This is our number one go-to restaurant in town. Never disappoints, always a bit above expectations. The pastas are fresh and done with flair and class ... nothing gloppy, the sauces are bright and super-flavorful and the pasta itself seems homemade. It's a place that's classy enough for date night but casual enough for family night. In my wheat-eating days, this was my favorite restaurant: every pasta dish I had here was eyes-roll-back-in-the-head outstanding, and the servings were always ample and in these fabulous huge pasta bowls.
