I'm not from the area, but we were invited to eat here. At first glance, it looks like a chipotle. However, they have all the menu items a taqueria would have, in addition to a build-your-own station. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. A lot of these items are definitely shareable because of their large portion sizes. The food is yummy, fresh and satisfying. I love that they have plenty of tables inside and outside. I also appreciate a restaurant that lets you help yourself to utensils, napkins, water, etc. I was pleased with my meal and had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home.

I love this location. It is my favorite Que Onda! They are friendly, kind and helpful. I appreciate that they welcome you with a smile when you come in. That means a lot to me. The Quesa Birria is always so delicious! It hits the right spot in my stomach everytime. Thank you

While on a road trip we decided to stop by for some food. It was our first time here so we asked how we ordered because there was a lot going on with the menu. The employee just said "that's the entrees and you choose the meat." She didn't really explain it very well but we figured it out. I got a bowl with carne asada and my gf got the chicken enchiladas. The food was amazing and I love that you can choose so many toppings. The agua frescas are also delicious and refreshing. Not sure if we were ever be back but if they open on in San Diego we definetly will go.

This place is amazing!! The food was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Their tacos are delicious consisting of homemade tortillas cooked in front of you and amazing shredded chicken that was juicy and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and everyone is very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be coming back.

Went to try something different and I got my food to go. I got the tortilla soup and the papa loca for my dad. The papa loca (I don't have a photo) were with steak. They had no beans, but had rice, both types of cheeses, and other items. My dad enjoyed his meal. I got the Tortilla soup which came in a 32oz container, which was a great size, I was able to eat it for dinner and lunch the next day. I put my soup in another container when I got home. What I enjoyed that all the toppings were in another container and not in the soup, which was awesome. Also we received a bag of chips, which I also added to my soup later for extra crunch. The place was clean when I went in but I didn't really stay long. The staff were so nice and accommodating and even kept up a conversation with me. I will be going back for that tortilla soup, especially in this cold weather.

Service is welcoming with a fast turnaround. When indecisive just say, "With everything". Nachos were tasty and generous in size that could easily feed a people of two. A fan of the Quessabirria Taco with Consommé as well. Excellent food without the excess of a full dining experience.

This place is amazing! I came to Vallejo for a small errand and their food is great! BYO bar with speciality items available. We got flautas and a BYO chicken bowl. Pictures below! I love the freshness and the authenticity of the food. Only cost us $44 with both and two large Agua Frescas. It's not watered down or like that Sol company we see at main chain Mexican restaurants. They are so authentic they don't even give tickets for the food the chefs know what they be doing. Ask for Raul or Adrian cause they are the kindest people. They answered all of our questions and even gave recommendations. I had to ask for Togo boxes because we were so full! And the vibe! Loved hearing the cultural music and seeing different tv shows available. Yall did your big one!

My wife and I like this place. Being able to customize your food is fun. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla soup yesterday. Very filling. Full of chicken and veggies. Broth was really good with a good amount of cheese. Service is always friendly. Place is always clean. Good value.

Asada street taco, Al pastor taco

Wow. It's been a long time since I've been brave enough to walk into a taqueria without having a recommendation first. I will be back! Great service, and I was really happy when I saw the corn tortillas being pressed and heated right in front of me. I will never be able to eat packaged tortillas again. I ordered two street tacos, one asada and one al pastor and they were stuffed beyond stuffed. SO tasty! I love spicy salsa, so I got the habanero in addition to the regular mild red sauce provided with the chips. That habanero salsa is the bomb. High on the list of favorites. And this whole platter only cost me $10

I was in the area and this spot happened to be nearby so here I am. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos. Lemme tell yall, the portions are huge. The food tasted good, however it didn't have the cheesiness that I'm used to having when I order Quesabirria from other places. Regardless, it was still solid just different. This spot kind of reminds me of a chipotle in which you can pick what you want on your food, but an authentic version. The restaurant itself has a lot of seating and there is a lot of parking available. Anyways, try it out if you like. :)

Casual restaurant serving up Mexican comfort food made to order burritos, tacos, and rice and beans or however you want it. Reasonable price. Plenty of seats inside, outdoor dining also available. Ok customer service.

Service was A+. Food for being a fast food Mexican joint-- A++!!! A little pricey for two of us. $54 for 2 burritos, 1 agua Fresca, and a soda. But next time you're in a pinch a need a quick Mexican reco, come here!! Didn't care for the Vacaville location, but Vallejo tasted truly authentic.

When I received my food I realized that it was not the correct order and immediately called the restaurant to see if there is a way that maybe my order hadn't gotten picked up and I could go ahead and just drive down and pick it up myself since I knew they were closing soon and may not accept another online order. The very kind gentleman who answered the phone explained that the delivery driver had picked up my food and something must've happened before it got delivered to me but that my food was no longer at the restaurant. I asked if it would be possible for them to remake the order and I come down to the restaurant and pay the restaurant directly and then deal with canceling the order through the food delivery app afterwards. He mentioned they were a little busy and were close to closing but would get it ready as quickly as they could - even repeating what had previously ordered to ensure I got the correct food. We rushed down to make it before they closed. Not only was the food ready within the 10 minutes it took us to get from our house to the restaurant but they were so kind and helpful and even offered us a discount on our order for the inconvenience of us having having to drive down. We happily collected our food and drove home and soon received a call from the restaurant letting me know that I had left my debit card there and they would have it for me to pick up the next morning when they opened at 10. And the food? Amazing. 10/10. Also - they were PACKED on a Monday night right before closing. We will be returning. Sorry, no pics - we were hungry

Over the years, I've watched this place go through a few upgrades. One of the biggest changes is the menu that used to be painted on the wall is now displayed on digital display. It looks pretty cool, although I do miss the old painted menu because it was part of what I remembered about this place. But with prices changing over the years, I can definitely understand why going digital makes more sense than having to repaint the wall every time something changes. Prices have gone up over the years too, but that's understandable. One thing that hasn't changed is the service. The staff has always been nice, welcoming, and hospitable. I've never had any problems with the customer service here. This time I ordered a super burrito and two street tacos. Taco Jalisco has always had some of my favorite carne asada. The steak is flavorful and honestly some of the best carne asada I've had in a Mexican dish. The street tacos were simple and good. Carne Asada and chicken with , cilantro, onions, and their hot sauce on top. And I have to mention their hot sauce! It has been one of my favorite things about Taco Jalisco for years. It adds so much flavor without taking away from the food. The super burrito was good too, although it was on the smaller side compared to super burritos I've gotten at other places. Still, the flavor was there. The seasoned steak, rice, and house sauce all blend together really well. Their rice especially seems to soak up some of that sauce, and when you get everything together in one bite, it makes for a really flavorful burrito. After 20 years, Taco Jalisco is still one of my favorite places in Vallejo to grab a burrito and some tacos. I wouldn't necessarily call it the best anymore, especially with so many other good Mexican spots around Vallejo now, but it will always be one of my favorites and a place I'll continue coming back to.

My favorite was their chicken tinga, which reminded me of the chicken burritos I used to get back in my hometown across the bridge. I immediately told myself I'd have to come back and order a chicken tinga burrito. A few weeks later, I finally returned on a Sunday while they were serving their World Cup Sunday brunch. I ordered a chicken tinga super burrito and a California burrito to take home. I was really excited to dig in, but when I opened the bag, the "super" burrito looked more like a regular burrito. The flavors were still great, but the filling was disappointing. There was barely any chicken or sour cream, and I had to eat more than halfway through before I finally got a decent balance of meat, rice, and beans. I even had to add my own sour cream because there was so little inside. As for the California burrito, it was just okay. The fries were stale, and there wasn't enough sour cream or guacamole, which made the burrito pretty dry. It honestly reminded me more of a breakfast burrito than a California burrito, and I wasn't a fan. Overall, the flavors are definitely there, and it's clear the food has potential. However, the portions felt skimpy for the price, making the burritos feel overpriced. I'll give Sol y Sazon another chance because I know they're capable of making delicious food, but if my next experience is like this one, they'll likely lose me as a customer.
