Waited here for an hour and a half and nothing. The only thing we received were our drinks and our waiter never bothered to check on our refills or nothing. We've been vacationing in Destin for 4 years and have tried a different Mexican restaurant each year with sad results. Thankfully we tried Que Pasa because not only was the atmosphere amazing, the margaritas were to die for, the guacamole was so fresh and flavorful, the ceviche was by far the best I've ever had in my life, but to top it all off we had Jonathan as our server. Hands down! The best Mexican spot I have ever had, hands down! My husband is really not a fan of Mexican food. He had the pork carnitas with a chicken enchilada and was blown away. I had the grilled chicken with a shot of tequila (forgot the name) and added chorizo and cheese OMFG!!!!!!!! It blew my socks off. I can't wait until we visit in the fall. I don't think I have ever had worse food at any restaurant. I came with two friends. We waited a ridiculous amount of time for our food to come. One friend ordered a taco salad. The taco salad was clearly made with canned chicken, it tasted and SMELLED like ACTUAL CAT FOOD. My other friend ordered a quesadilla and a taco. Taco was okay at best, the quesadilla seemed to be made with canned mushrooms and white American cheese slices. My order was never even put in and I had to reorder it. I ordered two enchiladas, one chicken, one cheese. Of course my chicken enchilada was made with the same chicken that was in my friend's taco salad. I wasn't given silverware so I had to ask for some. My silverware was dirty so I went to the front and asked for a new set. I opened the new set in front of them and the knife had actual fingerprints on it. I flipped the fork over and there was food bits all over it. I asked for another set and a man behind the counter informed me the marks on the silverware were just water spots. I've never seen a water spot look like a yellow chunky clump stuck to the back of a fork before. I asked for another set and the fork was at least clean so I kept it and brought it back to my table. My refried beans tasted canned. The enchilada sauce tasted canned. A waitress came by and asked my friend if she liked her taco salad. My friend replied 'no' and the waitress immediately said 'it's okay, I'll take it off your check.' No apology or anything. She grabbed the plate and walked away. We could all tell this happens to them quite often. We flagged down the waiter who took our orders and informed him that we would pay for the taco since it was the only edible thing at our table. He picked up our plates and very rudely stated 'it's fine, I'll pay for it. You can go.' I've never had a worse experience and I'm honestly wondering if we're all going to get sick from the few bites we ate. Do not go here. read more

If visiting Destin, PLEASE go anywhere else, but here for Mexican food. Servers are nice but the management is worthless and could care less about customer service. Tamales are made with shredded pork. If you find any pork in your tamale, then you are the lucky one. The food is priced too high and bland as well. They are pricing their food high because they believe that because they are located in Destin, they have all the rights to charge high prices. (You can't see the beach from this strip mall restaurant, ha!) I could understand this if the food was good. A note to management, don't argue with the customer when they are showing you proof that your tamales do not contain pork and are nothing but masa covered with an awful red sauce. So visitors, go anywhere else. This place won't be around long with poor management and awful food. Enjoy your stay! read more

This place was not what I expected. It was the worst. Not worth what we paid for. Overpriced and terrible service. Waitresses all looked like they were in a pissed off mood , and totally rude. No refills and did not care for our table. Oh and if a "MEXICAN" restaurant serves aguachile and doesn't know how to make it ..... DON'T SELL IT. Called and asked it they had a patio - turns out this is some tables set up outside next to the parking lot. Was quiet and pleasant enough though. Food was great! I was surprised to see absolutely no precautions taken by staff. No masks, seating inside was crowded with no tables blocked off. Bathrooms were gross with no toilet paper. Fortunately we brought hand sanitizer and sat outside. Won't be going back until coronavirus is not a risk in Florida. read more

Let me preface this review with the fact that this was my second time having lunch there since they first opened. My first experience was excellent from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, both food and service. This time it was like a completely different restaurant. Gone were the helpful smiles and welcoming atmosphere. Admittedly this time I was picking up take out for my receptionist and myself but when I walked in, all of the servers were standing around talking to the hostess and seemed annoyed that I interrupted their conversation. I felt very uncomfortable standing there waiting for her to return with our order. No one smiled or made eye contact with me at all. When I returned to the office with the food I noticed there was just one bag of chips and one salsa for two orders. I had ordered the Carne Asada lunch which was supposed to come with avocado salad and tortillas, of which there were neither. The steak was fine if a little tough but the whole reason I ordered it instead of one of the other lunch specials was for the avocado salad. Ultimately I am really disappointed primarily because of how amazing my initial experience was. It was so good the first time that I was recommending it to my Uber and Lyft passengers as a good place to try. Not anymore. read more

Terrible experience from the food to the service but damn the decor was awesome! 1 1/2 hours from our entrance to exit, the food was all canned the tamal in the picture looked great but when I got it it had enchilada sauce and cheese? That ruined it like ketchup on ice cream, the salsa tasted like water and both different sodas I got were flat. It took over 55 mins to get our food and the waiters( we had multiple) seems to never bring what we asked. I also got 2 beef burritos that had sauce on top but tasted like pizza sauce, this place was so disappointing it's no where near Mexican ( says my full blooded Mexican wife) and they should be ashamed to serve it. We will not be back we also 4$ for a TACO$ I go everywhere from Houston to Atlanta to Orlando! Nowhere is it that much for a single taco with your over cooked steak I've got tacos in Houston for $1 out of a ragged out food truck at a gas station at 2 IN THE MORNING tasted wayyyyy better! We came here for Cinco De Mayo and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. There was a packed house and a limited special menu, but we were satisfied with the entire experience. I would give 0 stars if possible. We were vacationing in Florida and as a recommendation from a friend I was told to try this restaurant. I did not get to try their food but from online pictures and referral I heard they have good food. Service entering was super bad as we didn't even get to be seated. We walked in at 9:37 pm, restaurant closes at 10pm. We were a party of 10 but mentioned if easier due to the time we could be seated separate and not all 10. Well as soon as I said 10, she said no we cannot seat you we are closed. I said you close at 10 but she said no it's not enough time, after a minute going back and forth she make smart remarks asking if we would finish our food in 15 min to be out by 10pm.. and another lady went to go ask the manager since I insisted, she came back and said Manager declined as well and made another smart comment that food would be out in 2 hours and if we were going to wait. It was too much back and forth and at the end they didn't want our service. After all that, the Manager finally came out and apologized for the bad service and at 9:45 asked if he could sit us. I didn't feel comfortable anymore since too much was said etc so we declined and left to Pepitos Mexican. We got there at 9:50pm, they close at 10 pm, party of 10. The lady did not hesitate once to seat us, they took our order and we had a great dinner. That's good service right there. I will never go eat here or recommend this place. Either change your hours or get new employees because that was just not right. Our family owns a restaurant and when we close at 11pm our last guest is serviced at 11pm. read more

For people used to 'Traditional Mexican' food, this is not the place to go. We are from Texas and assumed because of the rating that this food was a great place to go. We waited forever and got cold food. One of my sons never received his food and we waited even longer for that. We were down on vacation and found this place , we were very impressed with everything. Food and portions exceeded our expectation and best price in Destin where every place else is $20 plus a person for average portions.here at Que Pasa $3.99 small cheese dip wasn't small but was in a half bowl and good flavor not just plain melted cheese. Salsa good and tortillas tasted fresh made , we had the chicken Chimichanga and the plater was big . Service was great as well and very polite . Qué Pasa has been our go-to Mexican restaurant since it has opened. We love everything on their menu as we have never had any issues with our food. Margaritas are a bit pricey but we have since ordered pitchers instead ;) From their street tacos to their fajitas, every bite is delicious! Our kiddos are picky when we go to Mexican restaurants as our girls hate anything spicy, however, their kids meals are not spicy at all so they love and eat all their food! We finally found our family Mexican restaurant where we are all happy to go to!!! read more

We are locals who loved coming into this restaurant. We would come in frequent. This last and final time we sat for 10 min without a server. We ordered a Presidents Margarita pitcher. On the Margarita list everyone of them mentioned tequila. We ordered the Presidents (which at other restaurants has tequila.) When he brought out the Margarita I said this does have Tequila right? He said no. I told him sorry but we want tequila in our Margarita. He proceeds to tell us we have to pay for it but will get us another one. I told him we arent paying for anything we haven't drank. He brings us another pitcher which was a house margarita. That pitcher came back in less than 2 minutes. We tasted it and it was a joke. The server then told us he was paying for the first one. We wanted to speak to a manager and the server told us no he would lose his job. After a few sips of some scrappy concoction we chose to leave. We asked for the bill of what we had eaten and drank and they tried to make us pay for the original margarita That was never drank. Bottom line is I am not sure who lied to us but we will not go back. read more
