We've been coming here for years to fulfill our sweet craving. The store is located in the same neighborhood as my Mother-in-Law's. We usually get chocolate or cinnamon rugelach. They're delicious! I like rugelach at this place. If you visit during Chanukah, you see tons of jelly, and other types of donuts packed in four. Strawberry, raspberry, chocolate, blueberry, and they got them all! Yummy! For the Purim celebration, they prepare different kinds of hamantash cookies. Nice! They offer sugarless cookies too, but the regular cookies are not too sweet, which I like.

I have been coming to queens pita, religiously, for the past 7 yrs for burekas (dairy, potato, spinach), challah and the best donuts for Hanukkah! Not kidding. I cross the bridge for these donuts. They have the freshest and best selection - halva, jelly, custard (personal favorite), Nutella. Parking is never an issue for me. Know what you want and go in with a plan, it could get a little hectic around the holidays.

I was leaving without taking a picture. I came here to show my sister where she could get challah bread after coming from a trip to Israel. She bought more than just a piece of bread. She was also getting desserts for friends . But I just couldn't help staring at a fly or two not wanting to keep away from the bread just like my sis. The lady behind the counter only said one word : "Thank You". I was disappointed to show this place to my sister. I was hoping she would get a better impression, hopefully the bread will be ok. Coming back? Maybe not.

The pitas are great and super cheap. Everything else I've had there is just meh and is a bit over priced for my tastes.

The rudest employees I have ever encountered in any business I have dealt with. Would never give them my business.

Very disappointing experience. I placed an order and called back within minutes to change it, and…read morewas told it was "not allowed" and that either I would have to pay for the original order or they would. That makes no sense, especially considering how quickly I called back. Even more concerning, when I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, I was told there wasn't one available. That's unacceptable for any business. Instead of helping resolve a simple issue, they made it unnecessarily complicated. Customer service here needs serious improvement.

Made a quick stop here after flying into JFK. There are a handful of Colombian spots in Queens each…read moreoffering something a little different. I was impressed by the large variety of options on this menu. I ordered an empanada to start followed by a mini bandeja. There was nothing mini about it! As you can see by the pic, portion size are not skimpy. Overall, the dish was good, only thing I would change was the steak. Had a little too much fat for my liking. But the chicharron and frijoles were great. The jugo de guanabana was delicious. Empanada was good too, though I would've liked a bit more of a flavor kick. They have a few tables and bar area for indoor dining and a covered section outside. Restaurant was busy, with customers dining in or picking up orders. Seems like a staple for the local community which is great to see. Service was friendly and moderately paced. Will return if in the area!
