Fabulicious!!!! is the best way to describe their Chanukah donuts!!! They are so fresh & fluffy! Wide variety of fillings! The halavah-filled Chanukah donuts are out-of-this-world-delicious! They also freeze well and taste as if they came right out of the oven when defrosted and slightly warmed up (about 10 seconds in the microwave)! Truly amazing! read more

This place is just amazing. First of all I'll begin with the sweet Jewish mama that tries to feed me onion rolls in the morning because she says I look hungry! I'm a sucker for a sweet and pushy face and I appreciate the warmth of this small bakery. I purchased what I would say is the best Challah I've ever had in my life. I'm not kidding. Then again I have only had about 10 Challahs in my life but...take my word that the breads are all freshly exited from ovens every morning and grouped in heaps on trays. I have also tried their Focaccia bread with tomato/olives/and a bit of cheese-- this was a wonderful and fluffy variant on pizza. A light snack or good breakfast item too! Awesome bakery! I'm obsessed with Jewish treats and they do such a great job at providing fresh products! I bought their pocket pitas and chocolate rugelachs. Omg so delicious. They have a kitchen on site so majority of the food they sell are freshly baked! They have all sorts of deserts to pick from. Also, I thoroughly appreciate a well kept establishment. Wow this place is awesome! They have delicious cakes and all kinds of pastries. The Hamentashan are amazing! The make a special Hamentashan which is filled with Halavah. WOW! It is amazing. They also had one with Nutella. I was recently at a neighbors house for dinner and they served an unbelievable non-dairy cream filled cake that was delicious. When I asked where they bought it this was the place. Really worth the trip from Long Island. BTW the prices are fair. Give it a shot! Leave your diet brain home. read more

I have never been to this location, but every time my grandfather comes for the weekend, he brings a Melt-away cake from this bakery that is without a doubt the best melt-away cake ever baked. Very tasty pastries throughout. Their donuts are absolutely humongous (and proportionately heavy)! They make Dunkin's offerings look minuscule by comparison. Pita's are...I'd say roughly twice the size, and puffed up with lots of filling - albeit very unevenly, so you might not hit the cream on your first bite. I haven't gotten to try everything in the store but what I have so far is all great. Their chocolate is excellent - rich, thick and on the darker side. And their prices are very low for what they offer. Definitely try this place if you haven't already. read more

This is the best kosher bakery in Queens!! My 4 year old son, who is an extremely picky eater, would only eat the spinach borekas from Queens Pita Bakery. I'm so thankful for that! Queens Pita is hands down the best Kosher bakery in queens. They have this incredible huge chocolate linzer tart which is just crazy. It's like Rick Moranis from Honey I Blew up the Kids baked it. It has chocolate on the outside then this cream filling in the middle. Once you start eating and get into the middle cream filling the cookie just owns you. Highly recommended. read more

I visited Queens Pita Bakery on May 24, 2020 during the covid-19 pandemic. The law is that people MUST wear masks in public places. There is a sign on Queens Pita's door that states people are not allowed in without a mask. While I was inside a man came into the bakery (which is a small space) without a mask and proceeded to speak to the lady behind the counter. I immediately moved to the side and when the cashier beckoned me to come back to the counter to pay I told her I will wait for the gentleman without a mask to leave as I don't want to stand right next to him. The lady behind the counter proceeded to loudly lecture me that "it doesn't matter" and "masks are not important". I told her that my health IS important as is compliance with the law. I felt very uncomfortable that the bakery is NOT enforcing the law and is disregarding my right to not stand next to someone not wearing a mask. I did not ask for the bakery owner's/ employee's opinion as to whether masks help keep people safe. I just wanted the bakery to comply with the law. I was disappointed at their failure to comply with the law and with the sign on their front door. P.S. Their cheesecakes are good. The 2 star review is not a reflection of their baked good, it is a reflection of their disregard of my/their customers' safety during the pandemic. read more

I do not take 5 stars lightly but I'm telling you this Jewish bakery is delicious. Everything is good but if you have never tried rugelach, babka, challah, or borekas it's time to branch out - they're killer at this spot.
