We had the bad fortune to experience a mysterious leak in our first floor condo unit kitchen drywall to floor recently. We were so lucky to have QuickDry worked on our water mitigation job. The work went very smoothly. Calton was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They were able to start the job immediately right after receiving the test result to minimize the damage to our condo. They did a great job drying the floor and wall from our water leak. They visited each day to check moisture levels. They sent us photos and reports if we had any questions. Quick Dry Restoration was recommended to us by our plumber after an appliance failure caused water damage throughout our kitchen. That same day, we spoke to Anton the owner, who patiently answered every question we had about a process that was brand new to us. That afternoon, Trey visited our home to do an initial assessment and answer additional questions we had about the remediation process and insurance involvement. From there, crews arrived daily to demo, treat for potential mold, monitor moisture conditions, and adjust fan positions. They took great care with protecting possessions within the vicinity of the demo, and uninstalling appliances impacted by the kitchen demo. Quick Dry also coordinated with outside contractors to conduct mold testing and assess the kitchen rebuild effort. I can't recommend them enough - having a "one stop shop" to deal with the entire remediation process was very much appreciated during a stressful situation. The crew (Logan, Angel, Royal, George, Darnell, Dom, Blake, Travis, Daven, and others I'm unfortunately forgetting) were communicative, timely, thorough, professional, and friendly. This company has made this stressful time for me much better. They understand the stressful situation you're going through. My hot water heater in the garage leaked everywhere. I discovered my garage floor wet on a Thursday evening about 10:30 and thought my only issue was replacing and installing a new one. The tray under the water heater acted as a dam and the water ran over it, under it, everywhere. A plumbing estimator advised I needed help as my drywall, which surrounded the heater in the garage, soaked and absorbed lots of water. He recommended Quick Dry and Travis arrived quickly the same day to assess the damages. After his assessment, Travis agreed to call insurance company for me and waited on hold for over 15 minutes for them to answer. I asked him if he would explain as I had no idea the extent of the damages. He did. The insurance company verified with me I requested Travis to help me by negotiating issues as they arise. The next day the first teams of technicians arrived to begin the process of removal of the water and the damages it caused. This team worked continuously without breaks, had to put up with my dogs barking non stop, and completed the removal of all damaged drywall, set up dehumidifiers, air purification machines, and several fans that ran from my garage into the laundry room, all the way down my hall, past my coat closet and into my entryway and front doors. They cleaned up everything each day prior to leaving. These were the best group of technicians that ever entered my home. They come to my house daily to check on the drying process. I was recommended them by impact plumbing when my water heater broke. They came out to check out the problem within an hour of being called. Because they worked with a construction company who does wall repairs for them, everything happened smoothly. Basically right after they finished removing the old stuff and drying the wall, the contractors were ready to get the repairs done. Was originally quoted $1500-2000 to tear out a 2 foot by 22 foot section of my garage due to water heater leaking (rep had me send pictures of all the damage). They showed up next day. The 2 workers completed the tear out and removed all the debris. They then set up several fans to dry the wood. They left the fans for 4 days. They came and checked them each day except for one. I received a bill for $2942. When I called them they apologized and said we negotiate with you insurance company not with the CUSTOMER. I couldn't even get them to send me an itemized bill with hourly labor costs. I will NEVER use them again or refer them to anyone. when they find out how much your insurance WILL pay they raise their price. In my case they raised it over 50% from the estimate. read more

This is a friendly warning to all homeowners, this company will come and do the job as stated. They will show up, move fans around, mark your house, and make you promises that they will work with your insurance company to receive payment, right up to the point where the insurance company and mortgage companies make errors outside of your control that cause delays in the check's arrival. Despite being able to provide emails from the insurance company, and post office, and photo proof of checks this company decided to place a lien on my home. They are charging over $700 more than the outrageous charges from the initial claim. So fair warning, pick another company should you wish to have a good customer service experience, one that works with you and your insurance company to save yourself from the fear of a lien, and loss of additional money during an already difficult time in your home loss. read more

I was one of the victim getting scammed by this shady company. I had small leak from my bathroom up stair so I called plumber to come out and see whats going on. 702 plumbing is the company that referred me to them ( they all worked together as a team getting kickback from each other including construction company called J&J construction ). What should've been a $500 - 600 job turned into $8000 nightmare. My insurance covered about 70% of the damage cost but I have to basically redo my entire bathroom because they caused more damage to it more than it needed to be. read more

I recently had a water heater fail, which leaked water, damaging some walls in my garage, and a closet inside my home. The plumber recommended Quick Dry, who, when we called, responded and was at my home assessing the damage in less than one hour. After consulting with my homeowner insurance company, and getting approval from them, Quick Dry had a crew there the same afternoon. They removed all the damaged wallboard, took it with them instead of filling up my cans...cleaned up all the water, sprayed all areas with a cleanser/mold preventive product, and set up heater/blowers. They were polite and respectful of my property. They committed to a return visit each day to measure the moisture in the studs, and to call before they came to make sure it was convenient. They did exactly what they committed to each day for a week, when the area was dry. They packed up, cleaned up, and left no mess behind. They worked and billed directly with my insurance with no money out of pocket. I would use them again in a minute. Word of advice though. They have a sister company, J&J Contracting, who repairs the damaged areas once dried out. Sounds good on paper. Not so nice in real life. This company provides a quick response and removes water damaged items quickly. The problem is that multiple representatives show up at the same time and you are handed a multi-page contract. They give it to you to sign without giving you sufficient time to read it and the same time that you are trying to point out on the damaged areas, in my case on two floors. Only later did I discover in one of the many paragraphs that I had agreed to pay them if the insurance company did not pay. The contract is completely one-sided. Two insurance agents reviewed Quick Dry's itemized bill. They both found that Quick Dry had overcharged me for various items. When I tried to contact Quick Dry, the manager would not respond to my messages. Be warned that if you have the presence of mind to look at reviews in a very stressful situation, be very careful with this company. read more

This is the first time I have written a one star review. My experience with this company began with a slow leak coming from my water manifold. I noticed a wet spot in my drywall and called a plumber. The plumber recommended Quick Dry and called them to my house. The plumber and the guy from Quick Dry then commenced to playing tag team, making me believe the problem was going be worse than it was. They mislead me to believing that if I didn't start an insurance claim before cutting into the wall, my insurance company might deny my claim. Then had me sign a vague contract, which did not include an estimate. I was only given a verbal estimate of what it might cost if the leak made it into my subfloor. Two other employees came to my house and spent 57 minutes cutting a 3'x7' piece of drywall and 10' of baseboard off. They set up two fans, a dehumidifier and air purifier. COMPLETE OVERKILL!! After removing the drywall, there was only a small area of stud that was barely damp. Subfloor and carpet were completely dry. This company's objective was to get me to go along with their tactics of making a bigger deal out of this than it was so they could bill my insurance company the maximum allowed. The next day, when they came to my house, I told them to remove the fans and other equipment, because I knew the game they were trying to run on me. They refused to remove their equipment until they spoke to their supervisor and left the equipment running in my house. When I finally made them remove the equipment 2 days later and told them I was not making an insurance claim, they told me their minimum fee is $1,500, but they would reduce it to $1,000. I told them to send me an itemized bill, because there was no way I was giving them $1,000, just because they wanted to price gouge me. The bottom line is a supervisor came out and was at my house for 17 minutes, pointed a thermal imager at the wall, I already told him was wet, for 30 seconds. Then had two guys come out for 57 minutes to cut a piece of drywall, sprayed an antimicrobial and set up fans for 24 hours. Here are some of the charges they billed me. Emergency Service Call - During Business Hours $177.58 Supervisors hours (2) $133.18 Thermal Imaging Test $175.00 Technician Hours (4) $253.60 So just the 17 minutes the supervisor was in my house came to $485.76 and all he did was point a camera at my wall for 30 seconds. There were other miscellaneous fees included and they reduced the bill again to $800, which I paid because I knew they would place a lien on my house if I did not. A reasonable fee for the work they did should have been $300-$500. I wish I would have had the time to read reviews on this company before hiring them, because I would not have used them. So buyer beware if decide to use this company. Make them give you an estimate in writing (my mistake) because their fees are outrageous and their goal is to get a big check from your insurance. read more

On November 29th, I discovered water on my garage floor. It was due to a broken water pipe. I called my home warranty company. They replaced the pipe and called Quick Dry. They arrived the same day and explained the water remediation process and immediately went to work. George, Logan, and Darnell have continued to work on the remediation. They did a great job removing the drywall and everything that was damaged. They were efficient, arrived as scheduled, and cleaned up the area they worked in. Amazing service. Quick dry is a blessing in the skies. I had a flood at midnight at my house. I called quick dry to help me with my flood. Amazingly a live person answered the phone ( Anton ) and told me he would have the on call technician come to my house within an hour. He wasn't joking. Clayton showed up 35mns later to assist me. He called the 24hr insurance hot line for me and got a claim process going. He was very detailed about the whole process step by step. What amazed me more is that he got a crew of 4 men to come out at 1:00am in the morning to start the restoration process. Once they midi gated the water and left. At 9:00am I had another crew come out to take out all the bad Sheetrock and baseboard out. They were so professional. The cleaned up very well after themselves. They Inspected all scope of their work. And then informed me of the next steps to come with the dry out. I could go on and on about how great these guys are but I might just bored you.
