I brought to the East Rochester location and claimed the transmission had "burnt up" and was unrepairable. I brought the car to a different shop and got the line fixed and it works fine. The shop is crooked and will be filing a report with BBB and NYS AG's office.

I Got the van off of the highway (we were in the middle lane of a 5 lane highway) . As I looked over my right shoulder to change lanes I realized smoke was coming for the vehicle. Luckily , surrounding cars were aware and gave us all the room we needed and we exited I95 and made it to a nearby parking lot. On opening the hood, it became obvious a catastrophic transmission fluid leak occurred. A dip Stick check confirmed this. Eastside Transmission replaced the transmission on the Honda in December 2017, with a two year, 24,000 mile warranty. We paid $ 2,970 for the job. I called Eastside Transmission and informed them of this dangerous failure. My call was never returned.

I met travis and he immediately took in my vehicle, was extremely friendly and showed me to the waiting room, while playing with his two beautiful dogs! He made sure to show me the damaged part that he is repairing and kept me informed of the status of the vehicles repair the whole experience. The whole process was not long at all, he worked quickly! If that wasent great enough when he comes to let me know that my car is ready, he doesnt charge me and gives me a coupon for future work....this honestly made my day as a person with ptsd from bad experiences with cars and mechanics. Owner of business was very honest ( contacting me before service) and did not feel I needed an alignment, but I wanted him to test anyway. ( AND HE WAS RIGHT, I didn't need it!) Subaru's are all wheel drive, and are different in drive AND braking. He replaced my rear brakes and I did notice a difference in driving.
