I asked my son yesterday to bring me some food from Quickie's Pizza & Subs. Since my last review back in 2025, I have been there several more times and had a great dining experience. Yesterday was a bit different. My son went in at 5:15pm to pick up the food and it was already ready. Brought it home and we were starving. William, one of their employees gave a nice welcome and handed my kid the food. Ordered their Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich($17.99), which also comes with a a small Garden Salad, I opted for a small ranch dressing instead of their Vinaigrette dressing. Salad was completely full of healthy vegetables:Onions, Bell Peppers, Garbanzo Beans, Cucumber, Tomato and of courses Lettuce. It was very fresh, but onions was a bit too much. On the other hand, the Philly Cheesteak Sandwich was not that good like I have tried before. It was undercooked, and a bit salty and greasy.We also got their Medium size Margarita pizza($21.49), that came with: Mozzarella cheese, Tomatoes, and fresh Basil. Added Mushrooms and he didn't charge us for that. Pizza was nice and hot. Crust was very crispy. Thank you William. Didn't get anything to drink. Would actually give them no stars if possible. Well, visiting my brother in Studio City we decided to order pizza here. We ordered online. Didn't get a confirmation, called restaurant number, no answer. Then called some other help number, someone called us back, unclear exactly who they but they weren't at the restaurant, but they tried to be helpful, they said they would DoorDash the pizza for us. Then called us back 1/2 hour later, they couldn't even reach the restaurant, and offered to refund our money. JUST HOW HARD IS IT TO ORDER TWO SMALL PIZZA'S?? Wow! Have driven by here many times, but parking lot is insanely busy. Chicken sub; excellent. side of salad; fresh and crunchy with good ingredients like cherry tomatoes and purple onion. Meatball sub; excellent. Side of fries; seasoned steak fries. They use good quality rolls, not the crap the markets sell. Will be coming back regularly, cannot wait to try the Philly cheese steak and burgers. read more

This place is perfect for those families that visit Moorpark park. My daughter and I decided to check out their menu and opted for a pepperoni pizza (she's probably a pickier eater than I am ). The service was awesome. The staff were kind and welcoming... but that damn pizza? It was really good. It brought back a lot of memories - as it had that 90's flavor to it. Their menu had other specialty pizzas - which I look forward to exploring. I definitely recommend this pizza spot - it's totally unassuming but their food is bomb. read more

Okay I haven't tried the pizzas from here. But honestly the Philly cheese steak sandwich is pretty much spectacular. Love the mushrooms and the cheese is always so nice and melted. They come with your choice of fries or side salad. I usually go for the fries. Second favorite is their avocado burger. Seems simple enough but the flavors are on point. They use cherry tomatoes and arugula in their burger. One of my top burgers. Last I really like the Greek salad. Add chicken to it and you're set. This place has saved us many nights when we don't wanna make anything but want to eat good. read more

Ordered pickup through DoorDash and arrived as it said my food was ready for pickup. Got here and they said they didn't have an order for me. The guy goes to the computer and hits a button I receive a text that says my order is confirmed. I watched several other people come and pick up their food so I was very confused why my order seemed not to have made it through. It was suuuuuuper hot in there. No AC. The guy talking to me is sweating. I was then told that they don't really do orders through DoorDash because they don't want to pay the 30% fee and if I wanted food next time it was best to call. That seems super unprofessional to have your restaurant listed on DD and just ignore the order so you can make the customer wait and tell them in person not to order though door dash again. Don't order from here! Half the time my order is wrong which understandably can be an oversight - most of the time something I had ordered, like chocolate cake, I instead received chocolate cheesecake without explanation - only to find out after calling the shop the reason they gave me something else is because they were out of chocolate cake yet no one bothered to reach out to let me know and ask if I wanted something else or a refund. This situation has happened a few times with other orders delivered to me. Today was the latest. The person I spoke to I believe was the manager My pizza had a different topping than what I had asked for. I called to complain and again they decided to put a different topping because they were out of the one I had in my order. I was respectful but he cut me off claiming he tried calling me - only one time 30 mins AFTER I had already received my delivery! He was so rude and last thing he said was that I should not order from them again! What kind of customer service is that?! Especially since they were always in the wrong with my orders?! I saw Quickie's while I was driving somewhere else and figured I would get something quick and be on my way, ready to face the world with a belly full of food. Yeah, it was one of those days... At any rate, I ordered a burger, not expecting a great deal other than something quick. Wow, what a good burger! The prices are super reasonable too. Why would anyone consider going to a fast food place when Quickie's exists and gets you an honest-to-God amazing burger for about the same price? Quickie's has become a go-to place when I have that craving for food and I'm in a bind. Try their Quickie burger and their avocado burger as well. Quickies please bring back previous management! This place used to have some of the best spaghetti and meatball with meat sauce and philly cheesesteaks. First, their spaghetti sauce was so simple yet hearty and good. It was obviously some sort of home made style sauce. And it came with a generous, large piece of garlic bread. Under the new management the spaghetti sauce is just meh, nothing special, I can most likely make a better sauce but not as better as the old management. Next, their philly cheesesteaks are more expensive but slightly smaller with slightly less meats. They are just ok, but man paying more for less just sucks. We all know which President to blame for all this inflation currently as of this writing. To new management please do the following: Please get the original spaghetti recipe from the previous owners. Go back to the original size and quantity of the philly cheesesteaks. And what happened to the fries? they used to be nice and crispy..now they are soggy and soft. Imagine trying to stick a raw uncooked spaghetti noodle in a hole in the ceiling. It's much easier when the the spaghetti noodle is raw versus cooked. So make your fries like a "raw" spaghetti noodle; firm, hard, crispy on the outside but nicely cooked on the inside. read more

Sorry to say that Quickie's is not the same Quickie's anymore. We have been ordering from here for years and years. The pizza was always delicious and the turkey burger on the menu was superb. The home delivery was very fast, never had to wait. We ordered from Quickie's last weekend and were so disappointed with the tasteless pizza and the amount of time we had to wait for our order to be delivered, about an hour. The beet salad was ok. They took my favorite turkey burger off the menu as well. The whole experience was not good. Unfortunately we are calling it quits with Quickie's. read more

Same name... new ownership, new menu, no thank you. We gave it one more shot, but no. Was the old Quickie's fancy, or upscale? Heck No. But it was what it was and didn't try to be anything else. It was quick, fast food that was always tasty with generous portions at a reasonable price. It was classic Americana type eats. Alas, the Quickie's we knew and loved is no more. They cleaned up the gunk and scraped out the soul. The food has changed A LOT compared to the previous owners. It's also a little "try hard" compared to the old Quickie's. Have a look at the changed menu and you'll understand. And the new prices?!? Sheesh! I wish the new owners all the best, but we'll have to find our classic burgers, cheesesteaks and tater-tots somewhere else... and hopefully cheaper. read more

What a shame. Quickies was our goto delivery spot for 10+ years. They offered killer grub food, at reasonable prices with good portions - a perfect formula. All the subs were bomb, Italian, Tuna, and esp. the Cheesesteak. Fries and burgers were great. Again, reliable quality made this a legendary spot. Now a new owner has taken over and completely changed the food, menu and prices, which are outrageous in an attempt to appear "gourmet". Not even sure why they are keeping the blue collar name - it's in a tiny strip mall. Quickies is now nothing more than a pretentious imposter. They could have kept the same winning formula and even upped the prices a bit and still have a thriving, profitable business. Instead, they are going to alienate repeat customers of the old Quickies and eliminate the base that made the old Quickies so successful. They will have trouble attracting new customers with these prices and changed food, and once all the regulars catch on and get duped for the first time, it won't be long until they go out of business. read more

I must first apologize. I have lived in Studio City for over 30 years and past Quickie's thousands of time. The small strip mall they are in gave me the impression of being substandard because I could never find a parking place. I assumed the food from that mall would also be substandard. I was wrong. Got a mailer about Quickie's, read the other Yelp reviews, then ordered a large Deluxe. It was the hottest pizza ever delivered. THANK YOU for that!
