Two people ordered medium steak, but both were cooked at the same time, and one was left on the grill longer than the other, causing inconsistency. Another issue I had was that the chef automatically drenched the seafood in teriyaki sauce without asking first. Personally, I don't enjoy teriyaki sauce, and I think he should have asked us if we wanted sauce on our seafood before pouring it on. When the chef asked how everything tasted, my significant other was honest and said the food was okay but overcooked and burnt in some areas. Our bill ended up being around $400, and because we were unhappy with both the food and service, my boyfriend left a 10% tip and even explained respectfully why he felt the experience did not justify more. To end on a positive note, the baked sushi roll I ordered was actually delicious. However, the drinks were subpar and overall the food did not meet expectations. For me the #3 - 2 eggs to order (over medium), sausage gravy over a biscuit, and potatoes with onions. The eggs were just a little overcooked but still had a runny yolk. The seasoning on the potatoes was perfect whatever they used. Some crunchy pieces and some soft (a good combo). The sausage gravy and biscuit was very nice, crunchy edge on the biscuit with a moist center. The gravy was very nice, not overfloured like some and had large pieces of sausage. We will be back. The ONLY negative for me is styrofoam to-go containers.
