I met Quig at his other restaurant Two Dudes seafood. He told me about this place. That and the great reviews made it a must try on my next Jacksonville trip! I was not disappointed. I got the Ultimate Burger without a bun and the Pork rinds. The rinds came out popping! They were hot and fresh! Amazing. The burger was really good too! Juicy patties with crispy bacon and grilled pastrami! Yummmy! The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Nice clean restaurant with great food and service. I will be back!

This is a little hole in the wall burger joint in a strip mall next to a gas station. Tips for a successful visit... 1) Don't be in a hurry. They make everything fresh (the sign at the counter says so) and apparently that means killing the cow and harvesting the garden. Our order took 35 minutes. Not that it wasn't tasty, just don't get in a twist if you expect speedy, because this isn't it. 2) The appetizers are "ok". My daughter loves mozzarella cheese sticks. She only ate one because they were only lukewarm. Same with my fried pickles. 3) Young lady at the counter was very friendly. 4) Mushroom burgers were delicious. Fair warning, take your statin (cholesterol medicine for you youngsters) before you come because they are artery cloggers. 5) Fries were great.

Well after saving this location on my list for awhile I finally made it yesterday. It was my family of three which includes my 14 year old daughter and my friend who has two younger kids, 5 and 7. None of us had been there before and the owner helped us understand what the menu offered and the quality of the food which I appreciated. One thing I want to call out is he offered to have the younger kids food come out first (something I know you almost always have to suggest yourself). On to the food... The ladies had salmon fish tacos and they loved them. My daughter was determined to get the Ultimate burger which is HUGE. She loved every bite and she could only eat about half so it made for good leftovers. It's made with high quality meat like Angus beef and brisket. I think I'm getting that next time. I had the loaded chicken tenders with everything on it. I could tell at the first bite this was not cheap chicken meat which hard breaded tenders. The fries with the tenders and jalapeños were a perfect combination. I apologize there's not pictures for all this food but I made sure to get a pic of the burger. It's one of a kind. The interior is clean and service was great as you can tell the owner cares about his food and his customers. I'm glad we found another option to the typical franchises around here. Our friends said they'll definitely be back too.

This is in a strip mall with a gas station. We pulled it up as a places to eat on our drive home and got good reviews. You go up to the counter and order and pay the pick a seat and they bring your food to you. . They had some high top tables, some tables with chairs, and then tables that had a long cushioned bench on the other side. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and since we had never been there, we asked what her two favorite things were and she said the burger that my husband got and fried shrimp, but I really want a sandwich so I got the chicken sandwich My husband said his snake bike burger was very good. My chicken sandwich was a fried chicken sandwich. I don't think it had anything special to it. They toast the bun and they put lettuce, tomato pickles, and onions on it. The french fries were good, but they were seasoned and that's not my favorite. I prefer regular. The food was served pretty quick. I feel $2 for a piece of cheese is expensive. Our 2 sandwiches with a side of fries without anything to drink came to $39.49. I don't think we will be back.

Quig's Meats & Eats! We had the BEST burger in JAX here. Local business with excellent service. It seems nearly impossible to get a perfect burger, but I have found it! Not to mention, the SEASONED fries!!! Breathtaking! We met Quig himself! What a nice, down to earth guy who shared his story about getting into the restaurant business and provided lovely customer service regarding our meals. My mom has particular buyer requests, she likes them well done. Quig's team successfully delivered the perfect burger for her! The whole experience was so pleasant and I will be forever recommending Quig's Meats and Eats! So next time you're craving a good burger, some seafood, or wings; head down to Quigs!

Small location, seriously great burgers. They serve more than burger (salads, chicken) but I think the big draw is their burgers and homemade sauces. To start off with their burgers are made the combination of Angus beef and ground chuck, and the patties come out about a full quarter inch tall. You can double stack them, which my son and I did on this first visit of ours. He loved the double stack, but I thought it was almost too much. So you make your choice, you can't go wrong with either. A little about the restaurant. it is counter serve, it's fairly small, but it's ridiculously clean and service was wonderful. When we were there, we were served by Jade and was friendly, engaging and clearly wanted to make sure we had the best experience. When I told her we wanted to try all the different sauces with our fries, she didn't hesitate and came back with a smallsamples of each. Hats off to her. But you wanna know about the food: NOTE ALL SAUCES ARE HOMEMADE. Ranch - good, really good Honey Mustard - love, but I love honey mustard Spicy Ranch - another good one Coconut - different, but I just don't think they're good for fries, I'm sure they'd be fantastic on seafood, specially shrimp Tartar - perfection Q - Sauce - hands down FAVORITE, delicious. Ultimate Burger - my son was in heaven, big thick slices of bacon, with all the fixings. The two patties stood about a half inch tall without the bun.. Double patty burger - I did to make your own version comment and as I said before, maybe a little too much meat for me, so when I go back, I'm gonna go for the single. There's a lot to love about the spot, the cleanliness, the service, the homemade sauces, but the real draw is the burgers. I'm already planning my next trip back.

As first time visitors, we were quickly welcomed at the reception area and seated had a very comfortable table with a view of the golf course, and opportunities to watch some sporting events on the handful of TVs that they have surrounding the restaurant / bar. Our server, Ava had a great energy and a bright smile, and delivered excellent service throughout. The menu is vast and diverse, I had some shrimp tacos which were excellent, along with a fresh iced tea - Ava Even brought a carafe of iced tea on the side so we could pour our own refills... Nice touch. Even at the non-member rate, the meal was quite affordable averaging just over $20 per person including meal, tip, tax. Views of the golf course are beautiful, the high ceiling dining room has a modern light fixture, it's just a beautiful spot overall. We visited the pro-shop and bought reasonably priced golf wear. I also noticed a screen that referenced Father's Day specials, so I'd anticipate they offer other specials during holiday times. My wife and I look forward to returning to this wonderful place.

The margarita was good, not great, but pretty good. My husband had deviled crab with a baked potato and applesauce. I had the 2-item platter with shrimp and scallops. Even though it was in the 90s outside, the deck was actually very pleasant, and watching the turtles and fish in the pond was by far the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi fish sandwich with fries. The fish itself was actually well cooked and nicely seasoned, but the tomato on the sandwich was literally the top core slice of the tomato. A simple glance in the kitchen would have easily prevented that. We also had the shrimp po' boy with fries. The bun had been placed on the grill to toast, but it picked up heavy black char that ended up all over the bread and mixed into the shrimp. I bit into the sandwich and was shocked to crunch down on bitter, burnt residue that even hurt my tooth. It really made me wonder what else had been on that grill. The shrimp itself also had a freezer-burnt taste, and the fries had a similar off flavor. For a seafood restaurant, I didn't expect that level of quality issue with basic ingredients. The server offered to remake the sandwich but with that kind of taste, I did not think a remake would fix the problem. Overall, very disappointing food experience. I'm honestly surprised by the generally good reviews and unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant based on our visit.

For appetizers, we had to get the roasted oysters, everything here has the essence of that fire grilled taste which I particularly love on oysters. After we knocked back a dozen of those, we tried the fries with the tender beef, cheese, and pickled jalapeños. They fry them in tallow, which gives the fries a really nice rich flavor! Then my boyfriend has some cornbread, which had a fruit jam and whipped butter, which he enjoyed. I typically get the chimichurri steak which again has that nice fire grilled element and is paired with some delicious vegetables like carrots, green beans, and potatoes. My boyfriend had the red fish over the andouille dirty rice, which was phenomenal! If I didn't get my seafood craving from the oysters, I definitely would've ordered that. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.
