My husband and I are always on the lookout for great sandwich shops in Tucson. We've seen a few come and go in our time living here and when we find one that we hope stays around, we like to share with all of our friends and Quisty's is one of those shops!! We first saw the owner making a sandwich on TikTok and knew that we had to go check it out. It did NOT disappoint! We chose to split the Badger because it was labeled as "spicy" and "off the grill" (it was hot sandwich, which we prefer). It had steak, grilled mushrooms, onions, jalapeños and green bell peppers, lettuce, chipotle ranch & garlic spread. The ciabatta bread (choice of ciabatta or sub roll) was soft and delicate but toasted ever so slightly and held up perfectly to the sauce. The steak was tender with a little bit of bite but not "chewy" and not "nervy" (for a lack of a better term). The sauce was decadent but somehow didn't overwhelm and didn't make the bread soggy. It was just the perfect compliment to all of the veggies and steak and I would have loved to take some home in a bottle. The only slight that I will mention is that it wasn't what I would really define as "spicy". I know that everyone's tolerance is different and there may be someone that would say otherwise but it was really more "mild", IMO. With that said, I'm really glad that it wasn't so spicy that it ruined the sandwich, it was a nice touch of warmth (spice) that definitely added something to the sandwich. The inside of the restaurant was small but there were both indoor and outdoor seating available. Most people were getting their orders to-go, so it wasn't uncomfortable sitting inside, at all. The staff were really helpful, ready to answer any and all of our questions. The owner was also extremely friendly and recommend that we try the "Cha Cha" the next time we stopped in. We definitely look forward to going back and trying so many more sandwiches. read more

I got the Scramwich on Foccacia, and the Prosciutto was thick cut, the buratta was fresh, and it was just incredible. I tried the Quisty and Scrammich (idk something like that) and with each at about $14 I think they didn't have that substance/excitement I was expecting. They look pretty, but felt "thin" overall. In terms of taste I like when sandwiches linger for a bit especially with Italian type meats, but I forgot what these tasted like five minutes after I was done. The sandwiches looked so good in the pics and the sandwiches are a nice size for the price. I had the Paul Guy grilled sandwich on.ciabatta one of their few veg options and this had grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and grilled peppers, lettuce, tomato, avocado, olive oil and hummus. It was decent but didn't have a lot of flavor. I was trying to think what it might be missing and wondered instead of just olive oil, maybe Italian dressing with more seasoning would level it up, or add vegenaise or other vegan mayo or began butter to the bread and season the veggies with something flavorful. Quisty's is a nice addition to the local sandwich scene. It's conveniently located at the new Sol Block. I'll start out by pointing out that the customer service stood out to me. It's order at the counter and they'll deliver your sandwich to you. It's nice that you can also sit out in the communal patio area to enjoy your meal and they'll bring it to you as well. I ordered the Schoolyard sandwich which comes with turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and Ranch. I requested it toasted on ciabatta with no onions. Unfortunately, the onions made it into the sandwich. It was a otherwise pretty good and generously sized. This has become one of our favorites to get a bite to eat in Tucson! Best place to grab a sandwich, in my opinion. We typically grab a beer at The Broadway when we come here. They will also bring the food to you. My husband and I have agreed to try a new sandwich every time we go, and so far, I haven't been disappointed with any of them. Small spot with just a few tables inside, but a cute patio connected to The Broadway Bar. On weekends they serve focaccia from Holy Focaccia, so good! We were looking for a new-to-us place to eat so I randomly looked thru Yelp and Quisty's Sandwiches came up. I read a few reviews, looked at a couple photos and decided to drive the 20+ minutes across town to try it. SO glad we did! One review mentioned the Delgado and had a photo. It looked great. The review said it wasn't spicy even though it was advertised as spicy. I did want spice so I figured I'd try it. Its a hot sandwich and I had it on Ciabatta bread. The chicken pieces were excellent and all the other ingredients too. The Chipotle ranch sauce pulled it all together. Yes there was spice! Jalapeño slices throughout. Pickles. Just yum all the way around. My husband had the Dozer which was a cold sandwich on toasted Ciabatta bread. It also had spice. It had turkey, sopressata (salame), cheese, Jalapeño, and also had the Chipotle ranch sauce. We each tried both sandwiches and loved them both! I'm writing to share a disappointing experience I had at your shop today. We have always enjoyed coming here, which made this visit especially frustrating. When we walked in to order, I asked the employee taking our order a simple question about whether we could sit next door at the Broadway location, since we understood there is a 10% discount offered for that. Before I could even finish asking, she abruptly cut me off and said, "Yeah, what's your name?" Her tone felt dismissive and rude. After she proceeded with the checkout process, I asked if the discount had been applied. She responded, "No, sorry, I already checked you out," even though we hadn't paid yet. The entire interaction felt rushed, passive, and unnecessarily unfriendly. We've always loved coming here and have had positive experiences in the past, which is why this stood out so much. Unfortunately, the way we were treated today really took away from our visit. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve customer service, because we would like to continue supporting your business--but experiences like this make it difficult. read more

Me and my wife finally made time to visit Quisty's today and we were both really impressed. We split the Chrissy on Focaccia and it was amazing. It's obvious they use top notch ingredients - everything tastes fresh and well sourced. They even have budget friendly half sandwiches (which are on the large side) and are perfect if you're not super hungry. There's a pleasant, shaded patio, and an outstanding tap room next door with flat screens and more indoor seating. Altogether a place that can easily become a regular hangout! I went here today with my girlfriend and the only reason I knew about this is an event that they sponsored at the U of A to raise money for Tucson medical center. I went with no expectations and was astounded by the service, the complimentary seating and the clever color scheme of the restaurant. From the moment you walk in you get HIT with a smell of amazing food! I knew it was going to be good! I got the Heepo on a toasted bagguette and it blew me away.
