Saw them on social media this morning and I had to come. I have been craving some good egg rolls for a while so it's time to feed the need. The egg rolls are delicious!!! They are packed tight with filling and are not filled with a bunch of cabbage. They are a good size for $.85 each. The only thing I didn't like is that they charge a $1 for a small side of sweet chili sauce or fish sauce. I will not let it stop me from going back and trying their spaghetti (interested in the Vietnamese take on spaghetti bolognese. They also make garlic butter and fish sauce wings so I know I need to try those. I had a nice talk with the owner and let him know that I saw the shop on social media. I just ordered at 4:30 PM, and honestly, I'm so mad. Like... why??!! We ordered two bowls of cháo lòng and four egg rolls. I'm extremely disappointed. I've been here multiple times and expected much better, but this experience was unacceptable. The cháo lòng was $10, yet it was watery and the meat was chewy. I watched the lady cook put another customer's bowl straight into the microwave before serving it, so it made me seriously question whether mine had been microwaved too. Fresh cháo should never taste or have the texture of reheated food. I've supported this place multiple times, and this was by far my worst experience. I ended up getting three pieces of both flavors. I enjoyed the combo over the pork but both were cooked perfectly and yummy. I would order these for future parties. They have a variety of flavors, but pork is always my favorite go to. I believe they have taro in the egg rolls which is how it's traditionally made in Vietnam I think.
