Visited: 11/25/25 Mango Matcha Latte + Cheese Cream + Boba: 8/10 The flavor was delicious overall, and I'd definitely come back for more boba. That said, the matcha flavor in the mango matcha latte was nonexistent as the mango completely overpowered it, and the drink was a bit sweeter than I expected, so I couldn't sip it as quickly as I normally do. The boba itself had a nice chewy texture and paired well with the drink. I think next time I'd ask for less sweetness and a stronger matcha flavor. The interior of the store was absolutely stunning. Right by the entrance is a tree covered in little hanging notes from previous visitors, which gives the space a whimsical, thoughtful vibe. There are plants all around (from the ceiling to the walls and even incorporated into the tree). Soft, warm lights are beautifully strung throughout the store, adding to the magical, cozy feeling. Honestly, it's probably the most visually beautiful boba shop I've ever been to, and it makes for great photos if you're into aesthetics. The space was also very calm when I visited. There weren't many people, so it didn't feel crowded or distracting. It was a very comfortable and relaxing environment, perfect for taking your time, enjoying your drink, and soaking in the surroundings. Phoebe is very attentive and such a great worker! She really gets all the details down and was very fun to talk to! Stopped by because I was craving some popcorn chicken! Ended up getting more menu items. The interior is super cool looking, it has a nice aesthetic to it. Would recommend if you are nearby or in the area. Parking can be a little tricky during busier times, they have curb street parking in front of the restaurant. Popcorn Chicken - 8/10, super yummy and crispy but I really wished they took the time to fry the basil leaves. Fried Calamari - 9/10, pretty decent and the sauce provided paired well with this item Pad See Ew - 8/10, I've had more flavorful pad see ew but this was still good and I would highly recommend Chicken Fried Rice - 6/10, probably my least favorite item. It was a little bland for my tasting

Its nice to see another boba place in orange. This location is big and clean and I was able to study for a bit here. It took me forever to decide what to get. Wasn't sure if I wanted milk tea or coffee. I eventually settled on milk tea because they can't screw that up. Although my drink looks good, it was just normal tasting. It tasted like typical milk tea and nothing crazy special. Im willing to stop by again to try other items, but I am not dying to do so.

I had high hopes for this place since it had really good reviews here, but was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Egg Pudding (instead of Boba) and got the Milk Milk Milk Milk with Egg Pudding. My hopeful self thought maybe it was still sweet but when I tasted it, all I tasted was milk and egg pudding. It was pretty sad. I wasn't alone. I came with a group and many of us got the same disappointment. Some of us also got Crystal Boba substituted without notifying us because they ran out of regular Boba. Who makes substitutions without asking? Also, I ordered their plain fries and it was below mediocre. I asked for the Cajun seasoning on the side and that didn't help the flavor or the texture at all. On top of that, they were pretty stingy with the amount of ketchup they provide even when I went back to ask for more. Additionally, the girl at cash register seemed lost and flustered. It didn't help with any of the other things going on and it didn't make asking for assistance or remaking the drinks any more comfortable. There was a guy in the back that saw me when I went up to ask for more ketchup and did not acknowledge me other than the awkward eye contact. Their customer service needs some work. The only reasons they are getting three stars are 1) because it was nicely decorated and clean in there, 2) because they were open late on a Sunday night, and 3) because they did fix the drink of someone else in my party. But with a group that ordered something in excess of 8 drinks, it is awkward for a customer to ask them to remake all those drinks. They should make it right the first time.

On a hot day, a much-needed cold tea is perfect to keep you hydrated! I stopped by R&B Tea to check it out since my sister told me it's a new tea place around Old Town Orange. Upon our arrival, we were not greeted. The employee kept looking down, and I was the one who said, "Hi, good afternoon." She looked up but didn't respond with a "Hi," "Good morning," "Can I get your order," or "Welcome." Maybe she was having a rough morning. I hope tomorrow is a better day for her. Anywho, the ambiance was lovely. It wasn't crowded, and they had music playing. My sister and I enjoyed our cold drinks. We thought they were good. Our drinks had flavor and they didn't taste too sweet. Next time, we'll probably try some of the food items.

I love this place! The food and drinks are top-notch and the space is much bigger - and cuter than it appears outside. I used to pass by all the time and didn't think much of the shop, until someone recommended I stop in and I took that advice. When I went in, I was greeted with this gorgeous wish tree filled with hearts. I even got to sit in the table underneath in one time, which was really magical. I've gotten the garlic noodles, which were incredible, and the Jasmine Green Tea with house cream, one of the popular drinks is popular with good reason -- it's so good! I've gone back since then and gotten a coffee and it's also really good.

The drinks were really yummy! And surprisingly the food was too, I never get food from boba shops but it was so yummy I got the shrimp rolls, Cajun fries, and fried tofu. The ambience was 4/5. It was peaceful and the little heart tree was a nice touch! The staff are nice, no problems there. I'll be going again in the future, thanks!

Garlic noodles are thee best I've had yet. Definitely a must. It's our first time here and I DO recommend. Popcorn chicken is okay.. needs to be coated more and spicy isn't really spicy. If it weren't for the popcorn chicken not being spicy at all and how it was seasoned this all could've gotten a 5 stars. as for the fries eat them there. Dont wait to take him cause as you know fries get soggy with the moisture. I ordered the cajun it was really good.

10/10 drinks and food! Everything was delicious and came out super fast. We got the tom kha, garlic fries, popcorn chicken, quail, shaken beef with garlic noodles, and an assortment of drinks. I personally got the hawaiian fruit tea and my friends got the lychee yakult and brown rice milk tea. Great drinks and great service! Also the love tree inside is super cute for photos!

I am a boba fanatic, so I think I can say with confidence that this place is pretty good. They offer a wide variety of options and along with their boba, they have great mango sticky rice and spring rolls. The only things I want to point out is: - The price: It's not the cheapest, there are definitely more affordable options out there. But in terms of price, I would still come back. Each drink can range from $6 to $7. - The service: They take a while to bring out your drinks, and this might be because there's usually only one person working behind the counter, which kind of slows everything down. But besides that, I am always given some pretty good drinks. Another plus is that the place looks very beautiful ! Would come again and would recommend to others !

The two stars are for the yummy popcorn chicken and the ambiance. -3 stars for customer service, especially today. My second time ordered from this location for candy milk tea. This time, the drink was just waaayy off. I couldn't taste the oat in the drink and was not able to drink the cream cheese because according the to female cashier, they seal it for togo drink instead of using the lid for it. Then what is the point of adding cheese cream on top, and are you using a fancy cappuccino mug if I dine in? This never happened at other R&B locations, and I've been R&B customer since they opened the very first store in Bolsa. I guess inventory and quality are not the same even though it is a franchise (the cup does not have R&B logo on it either). I called in to let the store know and ask if I should send them the photo via text or yelp and the girl told me I can do whatever. This kind of customer service will surely chase your customers away. Multiple R&B have closed down; however I won't be ordering from this location even if it's the last one standing.

The drinks were not that great, we asked for no boba and they still put boba. I got the strawberry horchata it tastes like water with strawberry nesquik. The brown sugar one was supposed to be a brown sugar latte milk tea with no boba but it didn't have coffee and they put boba, double fail. Will not be coming back. read more

Our adult daughter recommended this place, and we enjoyed our visit. The signage and online menu do not show the food - but they have Asian-fusion food. We parked within a block and walked there. You may be able to drop off or pick up a person in front. We had the pineapple and bacon fried rice, grilled salmon fried rice, garlic noodles with chicken, Vietnamese coffee, and brown rice milk tea. We liked the forest effect achieved using good-looking artificial plants on the ceiling and a large paper tree. read more

Went here to try a new boba place, but they also offer a variety of food as well (can't comment on those but they sounded delicious). With regard to boba, they have a huge selection of flavor options and boba-type adds including aloe, lychee jelly, etc. We tried 4 types: Peach black tea, Vietnamese coffee, house milk tea 1/2 sweet (uses brown sugar instead of their classic's white sugar), and strawberry yakult. All were solid but none of us felt it was the best boba we'd had. Wish they had more simple blended options (e.g. basic fruit blends without cream cheese swirls). Only one person running the shop at the time (they're still sort of new and it was pretty quiet on a Friday evening) but she was friendly and helpful with our questions on the flavor types. They're about 1 block away from the Orange Circle though parking about 1 further block away was easy enough. Will come here again sometime. read more

My first visit to the store was a mixed experience. The decor is cute and interesting, but the service was lacking. An Asian guy took my order and was nice, but when my drink was ready, they just placed it on the counter without calling my name or number. I waited roughly 10-15minutes there, I have to checking for my drink myself since no one was at the front. With three staff members present and the store nearly empty, this service makes me reconsider returning! read more

R & B Tea Grand Opening was an event to remember! They had a DJ playing top of the line EDM Music! Had Giveaways and gave out Vacuum Flask Sets for each customer! Very classy set and nice quality! My wife and I loved the ambiance, the environment is very welcoming and modern! We loved the tree that's inside the establishment and vines hanging from the ceiling! Always cool to have life inside a place! Their menu is fully ready to go like any of their other locations. The staff here were phenomenal! Down to earth, patience and so nice! They were slammed during their opening too! I had the Honey Dew Stormy & my wife got Mango Stormy. It's like a frosty delicious lily beverage sent from the heavens! Absolutely refreshing and delicious! The boba was fresh, delicious and chewy! Amazing service and high quality boba beverages! What more can you ask for! This is my new favorite place to go for boba in Orange, or when I want a quick snack. I've tried the taro, strawberry horchata, and Oreo flavors and loved them all! I usually get the popcorn chicken, but their other snacks are pretty good too. My cousin got the garlic noodles (which she loved) and added a side of chicken (a bit bland). The atmosphere itself is more like a coffee shop. Whenever I go here I see lots of people on their laptops studying/working. Because it's just outside the circle, it's less busy and usually easier to find parking. read more

UPDATE: I did try the lunch special pad Thai and it was pretty good. My picky eater 2 year old actually liked it too! I got it with chicken, and the only part I was disappointed with was the chicken in the dish. It was like the fatty, most nasty pieces of the chicken thighs. I threw most of the pieces away to be honest. Very unappealing to look at. This place is great, but that was my only complaint. Prob wouldn't get the chicken again. read more

Popcorn fried chicken with rice is so good and it also came with a lot of serving. The calamari was fair, but it was too thin and bland for my liking. It's too thin that I can just mostly taste the breading. The Tom yum is too spicy for my liking, even tho I ordered for a non-spicy one. Also got fruit tea which was really good. My boyfriend and I were walking through Old Town Orange before our Ghost Tour. We stumbled upon this cute little tea house. I didn't get a picture of his but he got the Honeydew Stormy and it was delicious! We also got the popcorn chicken spice level hot. It was good but I wish it bad a bit more spiciness to it but it was out of this world. The service was quick and friendly plus the drinks and food came out in a timely manner. I will 100% go back to visit and try some of their other foods and drinks. They even had a little love tree where you can give love with whatever you wanted to write on your heart to hang from the tree! read more

Very friendly people working here. There are a lot of different food items to satisfy your hunger. I love the chicken fried rice. It comes with a lot of food and is a great price ($10 during lunch time). I haven't tried the teas yet, but the stormy's are very good. I highly recommend this place! read more

Everything is great here. All the workers are very nice and helpful! The bob is great and is even more worth it if you go during lunch special time. For a boba place the food is really good and portions are great. Been coming here to study, eat, and hang out. The drinks are so good. I got the winter melon milk tea. The have a reallt good fruit tea as well. So refreshing and delicious. The desserts are amazing. I liked the taiyaki with nutella and oreo. The ambiance is overall so homey and nice. The tree makes the area so pretty. The workers were very nice and made the service even better. Great service, helped me pick items I thought I would like. We loved all the items they suggested. Got a mango stormy w/mango boba, strawberry stormy w/strawberry boba & pork spring rolls with peanut sauce. Everything was amazing. Myself and my 8 year old twin girls loved everything. I can't wait to come back to try other drinks and food. I don't live close but I'm willing to make trips back just to come to this place. Keep up the good work! read more

Very clean and nice spot! I ordered pickup online, very easy. I was excited to see a passion fruit green tea - this is one of my favorites and I've only found it at a few different spots. It was exactly what I was hoping it was. Online it comes with aloe as a default which I don't mind but hopefully in person I can order with a different topping :) I ordered the cream cheese wontons and the plain fried rice. The wontons were perfection. I liked the fried rice but definitely going to get a protein with it next time as I felt it was missing a bit of flavor but it was still good. read more

All I can say is WOW! I didn't know what I was expecting when looking in the area for a sweet treat, but my friend and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The atmosphere in here was so refreshing and it makes a great place to study or hangout with friends. It was my first time and the employees were so unbelievably helpful with recommendations of their personal favorites. I ended up getting Hawaiian fruit green tea and it was soooo good! Would definitely recommend! I also got the cream cheese rangoons and they were just as delicious I'm for sure coming back to try out more, because they have so many options :) 100/10 read more

What a cool experience I had my first time going to the new R&B tea house in orange! I went on a Friday night after taking my lady out to dinner for dessert and I was greeted by a super friendly DJ that was playing absolute great House music I thought I was at a club in Ibiza! . Only if the lights were dimmed and the floor was open me and my lady would've been dancing! Aside from the music the service was amazing. The manager Mr. Hai was super friendly and funny and the cashier that helped me out , Gabriel , was extremely charismatic and friendly and was willing to answer any questions . He Suggested his favorite drinks for me and my lady and they turned out so delicious ! We also shared a chicken friend rice and it was amazing, Reminded me of Benihana's!! I Had a great first experience and I will definitely be back for more!!!! 5 starts all around !! read more

This is the cutest tea house and food place in Orange Circle. The service was great and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the salmon fried rice and calamari. The Vietnamese coffee and Strawberry Yakult drinks were great. Such a great hangout or "work from home" spot. read more

I got the mango slush drink and it was recommended by Ian. Surprisingly the drinks here taste amazing, and the customer service from him made it even better. Definitely a come back because of how nice this place look from the music, lighting, and overall, I had a great experience coming here. read more

I absolutely loved the soft scramble on Rye. It was a perfect serving size as well as hitting the spot for a not so traditional breakfast. As we're sitting there, I noticed everybody was ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes, so I could not resist and ordered some as well. I will say the most underwhelming part of that was the lemon ricotta pancakes due to the ratios for the pancake pancakes and lemon ricotta. Overall, my experience was spectacular. I cannot wait to go back to Bluestone Lane to try other menu items.

I was shocked to see that. I waited in line with maybe like two people in front of me and guess what they asked of Pliny was still available. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

First off, when you walk in you'll see a beautiful tree with hearts dangling off and a very welcoming staff. Plenty of seats and not too busy (I came around 3 P.M). The staff stands ready to take your order, and they are very patient with you ( I took around 5 minutes to look at their very large menu). This boba tea shop has a lot of variety and they serve breakfast all day! With that being said, I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich combo. This came with a lot more food than I was expecting. It was around $15 and for the amount of food they give you, I was pleasantly surprised! They also give you a %15 discount for Chapman students and a stamp card to get a free drink/appetizer which I definitely will be using! The drink I ordered was the Oreo chocolate stormy with less sugar and honey boba, and I could not have been more satisfied with the drink. It was a good call to get less sugar, as the drink was quite sweet. They topped it off with extra Oreo bits and chocolate, in a different lid compared to other drinks, which was a nice addition to the stormy drinks because they give extra and leave none to waste. I'm not sure what the white stuff is around the cup, but it was really tasty! After around 10-15 minutes my food came out by the very nice staff, who provided me with extra napkins. Finished everything after 20 minutes, and left with a full belly and more than satisfied review! The shop was clean and had a chill atmosphere, great for studying or catching up with friends. What really made my visit stand out was the service. I recently had experience with the customer service team at R&B and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I reached out with my inquiry, I felt valued and appreciated as a customer.
