Visit August 2026 Found this cute little place thanks to the magic of Yelp. Was in Anaheim for an event at The Honda Center. The event ran really long and we were starving and blessedly this was close by and the family loves Vietnamese food. Food: solid if not spectacular results overall We started off with a grilled pork roll. This was kind of different take on nem nuong cuon that I'm used to. The pork itself was more of a patty. At first I thought it was a block of tofu. The little wonton skin crispy that comes with it was huge which I was not acccustomed to. Made the bite awkward. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Rice plate. The salmon was cooked just right and well seasoned. I was dissappointed in the rice which was a dry which was a downer. If I had a sauce based dish it would be fine but this dish didn't have that. Garlic noodle dishes were on the menu and both my daughter and wife ordered Shaken Beef and The Combo (shrimp and chicken) versions. Noodles were definitely garlicky which is a good thing. Shaken beef was tender and grilled just right to have a tasty crust. Well marinated. Shrimp and chicken pieces were plump and juicy. Both said would order again. My daughter and I needed a pick up and she ordered Sea Salt Coffee and I got a Vietnamese Coffee. I'm trying to find the best popcorn chicken in the OC, and sadly did not find that here. This is the first time chicken has left my mouth dryer with every chew. You must be thinking I'm exaggerating right? Look at the attached photo and just imagine that in your mouth, as almost every piece looked like that inside. The shaken beef was also dry, though not as severely, but fortunately the rice provided redemption as it was deliciously fragrant and pleasant. The combo vermicelli had noodles that tasted so waterlogged that it lacked flavor overall despite the fish sauce coming in punching. Small little hole in the wall near the angel stadium and honda center. My partner has tried it as take out before and we finally got a chance to sit down and eat here. Friendly and attentive staff. The food is all prepared freshly. We ended up ordering the shake chicken with garlic noodles and the house fried shrimp with garlic rice. The noodles had a good amount of chicken and the taste was great, especially with a little Sriracha, took it up a notch. The star of the meal was definitely the house shrimp. This business was not our first choice here but the best choice. One restaurant reeked of Pinesol. Another only served breakfast. Another had a confusing menu and no servers. Non's was welcoming with a single person working in front. I ordered the glazed salmon. It tasted ok, I devoured it. It was not really "Glazed" with the wonderful coating applied to salmon that I'm used to getting at other establishments. This was a VERY small piece of salmon that just had a somewhat sweet application of sauce brushed on after it came off the grill. The spring rolls were just ok. Nothing special. Contained a mystery meat that was probably pork. The ice tea was very good but served in a disposable plastic cup. The ice cream thing from the freezer was an oddity of dessert and packaging. Non's is located in a section of a business-commercial complex that holds events. If an event is going on, then avoid the event parking and look for the signs for restaurant parking. There are numerous Tesla charging stations at this location. Parking can be limited due to popularity of the many restaurants in this lot, but one can find a spot. Non's has limited seating, but their business seems to come in waves, so there is a good chance of getting a table. It was about average noise level for most of our visit, but got a little loud when a lot of ppl came in at the end. We got the spring rolls, calamari, grilled salmon, a seafood noodle, and pop corn chicken. The salmon was the best dish and came with ketchup rice, which was nostalgic. The seafood noodle and the rolls were the next best dishes. All the fried dishes were just ok. Other places have far better pop corn chicken. The calamari was a little greasy, but seemed fresh enough. The salmon and noodle portions are probably a little small for most people and most will probably want an appetizer and/or drink to go with it. The best part of the experience was the service. The two ladies working at the time we were there were super nice, attentive, refilled our water numerous times, and didn't complain when we stayed a long time to talk. There is a code for the toilet on the tables or else ask the servers. Overall, 4-4.5 stars is about right for Non's. Great experience! I went twice and both times I was helped by two different ladies who were both so nice and welcoming. The first lady was patient with me as it was my first time ordering. I read the reviews ahead of time to see what was popular. There were so many options to choose from so I couldn't decide! I ended up getting the combo vermicelli and shrimp spring rolls and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The second time, I saw a table with some popcorn chicken, so I HAD to order that and another order of the shrimp spring rolls. The lady recommended that I tried the pork spring rolls so I got that as well. I also got the green Thai tea. It was different than your average Thai tea but still good nonetheless. Skimpy portions, overly saucey, the meat was greasy outside and dry inside.
