Oh toccoa. You need a restaraunt with this wine menu and menu so badly... in downtown. But this restaraunt unfortunately has issues. FIrst, as a bar patron I came in and sat at the bar. The bar faces the kitchen window, and once you peer beyond the dining room it looks like a basic kitchen. Do I want to see them cook? There are some places that pull this off well, but unfortunately this does not. The wine menu was good, the pours were good. Then it just gets a little confusing. The menu is much fried foods. The pimento is accompanied with regular bread. I got a ribeye steak with brussel sprouts. The steak was just ok decent, honestly I'm not a huge fan of longhorn but for 3$ less they have the Outlaw Ribeye and this is a better cut than what I had here. The brussels were canned. I'm just expecting when I go pay a higher dollar that the sides also are fresh, and with sprouts, they have to be cripsy. These were mush. Every single time we go there they are out of things. Last time I ordered potatoes skins the server brought them out with no shredded cheese and asked if we still wanted it. Music (John Atkinson) was great. Went again 1/31 to hear John Atkinson and ordered a margarita 10 mins later 5 servers still standing around chatting still no drink. Don't waste your time. Food was disappointing, it was freezing cold with the doors propped open for some odd reason and when we ordered an appetizer we were told we couldn't have it because they were saving that for anyone who might order that meat as an entree. It was basically empty. I'd focus on the customers you have vs the anticipated ones that may not show up. Don't be fooled by photos that is from previous ownership. Really bummed out we were hoping we found a decent local place to frequent. Food was not good at all, we didn't finish anything we ordered and it wasn't worth taking out. Not sure what they're trying to be when they grow up, looks like a sports bar in a way. Website showed a finer dining type experience but everything was served on prison metal trays. We have eaten here the past 2 nights we have been in town! The service was great the food was delicious. My husband has not stopped talking about the burger being the best he's had in years. All the food seemed so fresh instead of full of preservatives like most places are now....we sat in the back so our server was our bartender and although we no longer drink, all her drinks she made looked amazing too.....super friendly and inviting! We had an anniversary dinner at R&R Prime the other night. Really enjoyed the food, setting, and service. We order a couple of appetizers, the pimento Gouda cheese poppers and the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese on top, both were really good. The smoked old fashioned we ordered to drink, paired well with both as well. The rib eye steak was cooked to perfection with great taste, the house green salad with blue cheese crumbles and dressing complemented the steak as did the tater tots. My wife's brisket tacos were very good and my daughters pasta was also very tasty. Then for desert we shared the butter pecan cake with cream cheese frosting, best cake ever. Taccoa, Georgia is in need of more restaurants of this quality, so if you are ever in north east Georgia and looking for a great meal, give R&R Prime a try you'll be glad you did. read more

My wife and I came for the first time last Saturday evening. We sat at a hi-table in the back near the bar. TV's tuned to college football. Laidback atmosphere with other folks created a good time.
