The ramen here seems to be more expensive than other places by a bit. Their extras you can get for the ramen seem a little expensive in general so I usually just get it as it comes, or your $10 ramen will become $15 ramen. I'm not sure why it doesn't come with an egg at least. Their chicken in the ramen doesn't taste very good, but I do like the pork belly a lot. The broth is among my favorite though which helps make up for the cons. Service has always been excellent. Inside is nice. I really wish they were not closed 2:30pm to 5:00pm. The ramen here is amazing. Extremely simple, and so tasty every time. I've never had a bad bowl. I usually go for the spicy ramen (burning spicy). My only complaint is that the staff is too obviously attentive. That seems weird, but I can see them watching our table, and slurping up noodles isn't exactly the most elegant look. If anything could be improved, it would be a sense of privacy. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. But alas, only whole numbers. read more

My mother is from Japan, and our family loves ramen. So we have had ramen from many restaurants, from mom and pop ramen shops to fancy Japanese restaurants. I have to say, this is the best ramen I have ever eaten, mostly I would say due to the incredible broth. Rich and creamy! I had the Tonkotsu, which was so tender. Awesome ramen place. Their kontoksu ramen is very flavorful and hearty yet not too heavy. I've had pork broth and other ramen places and this is by far my favorite. I also got their karaage chicken, which was the highlight of my meal. It was perfectly fried, juicy and went very well with the onions on top. The lime wedge was a perfect accompaniment to the sweetness of the sauce drizzled over the chicken. I definitely will be back again and try their other apps and ramen flavors. read more

Just ate here for the first time, and for starters the food was good, but our waitress was an utter NIGHTMARE for lack of a better word. We were sitting along the counter by the window nearest to the door with a group of four other patrons next to us. Prior to receiving our food we politely requested a tray of sauces (which there were at least three around the restaurant NOT being used with no one sitting near them) and her response was "no you have to share it's our policy." Now, I vividly remember my second grade sharing abilities, but given the guys next to us were in the middle of enjoying their meal it made ZERO SENSE to be forced to inconvenience them when there were multiple sauce trays not being utilized. So we waited until we received our food to again kindly ask for sauces and point out there were many around the room not being used and she STILL insisted we could not use the others. PURE INSANITY. The only way we were able to get some sauce was when my fiancé had to ask another waitress who promptly didn't even hesitate to bring a tray to us. So good!! Spicy Tonkotsu is the bomb. I like things spicy but the medium spicy packed a punch for me. Perfect little side dish of pickled cabbage to cleanse the palate. Ramen was good but service needs improvement. The server forgot one of the order and so my daughter did not get her meal until all of us were finished with ours. Overall, food is pretty good but it's a small restaurant and so there's always a wait....and I don't know if it's worth all that wait. Parking is also a bit of a problem. read more

i've had this ramen a few times when i was in the area. its a bit far of a drive for me so i'd stop by if i was near and feeling ramen. i love spicy so i always get the spicy tonkatsu! the pork is soft and yummy and i love the soup base!! the service is good and the waiters are all nice and friendly! the seating arrangements are like long tables with stool chairs. it kinda reminds me of those beer bars with intimate seating like this sort of made for socializing but diff from your traditional ramen restaurant looks (small and squished). the parking in the plaza is a bit small but you can find parking on the streets too! will be back to try their other ramen soon! read more

I just got my ramen through uber eats. Not a pleasant experience. The soup was just contained in styrofoam container with plastic cap without any secondary protection. They ignored my note for extra sauce and they don't even put any utensils. It is something obvious to put utensils for pick up/online order. Also I wanted all the toppings on the side in extra container but they just squeeze all of them into one container with my noodle. It's not good. The taste was like whatever. Pork broth was too salty for me. Don't expect good noodle when you order for pickup or togo. It's like a block. read more

This place is great! My new favorite ramen spot in LA. The interior is very nicely decorated, clean, and cozy. Service was super fast, attentive, and friendly. The food is delicious and always consistent, I've tried everything on their menu except for the spicy tonkotsu ramen. They only have three appetizers: garlic pork with white rice, gyoza, and karaage which are all fantastic. My go to ramen is the #1 Tonkotsu with pork belly. The broth is rich and the pork belly is cooked just perfectly to melt in your mouth. I like to add their garlic oil, egg, and crispy onions as a topping. Their #3 La Tan Tan ramen has the perfect mild spice to it and is very rich and satisfying. Lastly the #4 truffle shoyu ramen is quite different from the last two previously mentioned because of its mushroom soy sauce based broth and truffle oil. The smell is amazing and makes my mouth water every time. Also, you can't beat their happy hour from 2-6 that's 50% off all beers and sake. Check this place out!! read more

If I could give this place lower then a 1 star I would. Basically I decided to check out a new place with my family and at first it was fine. They greeted us in a friendly manner and took our order. The interior was unique and we were sat pretty close to the kitchen. Everything was ok till the food came. First they only served 1 bowl out of 6 people in our group. Then they got our orders mixed up with those that managed to come out. Next when my younger brother got half of his order original after being the last to be served. And the fact that they ignored our bowls that were ready on the counter to flirt with the cooks. By now I was extremely irritated. Most of us were either done or half way done with our food and my brother had yet to receive his full meal. I had previously asked about the missing portion twice and was ignored as the sever looked at me, nodded And then looked away. Complete ignoring me for the second time. At this moment it seemed like the server was fighting with the other server about our food seeing as the one who took our order wasn't the same as the one who served us. I over heard them say they ran out of what we've been waiting for due to the fact that they served it to two other tables that arrived after us and didn't want to admit that they forgot about us. I then waited a while to see if they would be nice enough to tell us but they never did. Fed up I asked them for the 3rd time and then did they tell us what had happen. They didn't even apologize. They just told us that it would be a 20 min wait to cook up a new batch. Other then that the food sucked as much as the service. If you want to be charged a dollar extra for an egg that was boiled too long then this is the place for you! I will never come back here and wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

The tonkotsu broth is absolutely delicious, with a true cloudy, creamy texture. The pork belly is cooked perfectly and fall-apart tender. Only two slices in a small, but they're pretty thick. Yummy local ramen, a favorite in Glendale. I usually order the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen with Chicken, it's good but tbh the chicken is pretty awful, I'd replace it with pork or no meat at all. My boyfriend likes La Tan Tan with Pork, it's similar to Tonkotsu but more flavorful. Portion size is not filling, we both order an extra side of plain noodles. The Small and Large size have the same amount of noodles just extra broth. The complimentary Asazuke is nice and refreshing. read more
