Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. The decor is a clean and modern/trendy industrial style, which works well for the space, and the windows provide nice daylight. I decided to try a dulce de leche coffee. While I was expecting a strong caramel profile of dulce de leche, the flavor turned out to be fairly subtle rather than prominent. It added a significant sweetness, but without knowing the order beforehand, identifying the exact flavor would have been tough. That said, the coffee itself was still refreshing The high quality of the coffee bean really shone through, delivering a rich aroma and the ideal caffeine kick for a breezy morning. Great coffee beans and fast service make it worth dropping in, even if the indoor seating situation is a bit tight.

The espresso is solid. Today I tried the seasonal Melo Belo. It's an iced banana latte with a coconut cream on top. The banana flavor is subtle and not too sweet. That's my preference when I have coffee, but I think most would actually benefit from asking for extra banana syrup. The coconut foam is also subtly sweet, and actually has a slight saltiness that helps the drink feel well-balanced. This drink was definitely a treat. They also have a great selection of pastries that range from standard croissants to less common flavors, like mango and ube. They do tend to sell out throughout the day, so if you want the best selection, come early.

The coffee and service have been excellent, until today. First, my coffee order was lukewarm- which is not a problem to complain, just correct-- to which I asked barista to warm. She said she couldn't warm but she would make a replacement. At that point I asked "You don't want this back, do you?" holding up my cup. She said she didn't if I wanted to keep drinking it. About 3 minutes after the interaction, while she was making the replacement another barista told me that if they were going to make a replacement coffee it was policy for customer to exchange the coffee that was not up to standard. I was surprised so I asked her to repeat that. After she did, I surrendered the coffee, without comment. I was with company so I did not make a point to argue. I thanked the barista for making the replacement and she said to avoid issues ask for the coffee to be "extra hot" at the register. Frankly, I have ordered coffee at this location many times when the coffee was too hot & I needed to request a coffee cup sleeve or 2nd cup to avoid discomfort. But I have no problem asking for extra hot coffee. The bigger issue is that when I returned to complain that I had never being asked to exchange or surrender a lukewarm or incorrect coffee in order to get the proper replacement and that it is not good business, I was told the policy was to let customer make the decision whether they wanted to give the coffee back-- unless it was the discretion of the barista that the customer just wanted more coffee. The implication was clear-- the barista didn't think the coffee was too cold but instead that I just wanted 2 cups to myself. This type of judgement is ridiculous. What I wanted was to wait for a hot cup of coffee. So what if I was drinking the cold cup while I waited. Was it that important for you to throw it away? My response given this new information was "I will never order here again, but I love Blue Bottle so I'll be going to Los Gatos, not that you (supervising barista) would care about losing me as a customer." Then the cashier spoke up and said, "I'm sorry the cup was not hot but it sounds like you like the cup at Los Gatos... " so I may as well go there, to paraphrase his full comment. That was unbelievable to hear. The supervising barista continued that the information would be shared with the manager "downstairs"-- and I asked their name, as well. Regardless to say, I always tip the bill. And it's not a cheap cup of coffee. But I've always felt it is 100% worth it. However now I'm left with my feeling that not only the initial response but also the treatment of my complaint has been disappointing. Because where I order coffee is an experience rather than simply a transaction and that I like to go where I am appreciated rather than incorrectly judged, I am more than disappointed. The impact of being disappointed by one of my favorite coffee shops is really a bummer that makes me want to not to buy Blue Bottle there-- or at any other cafe or through subscription (which I also pay for 3 freshly roasted bags per month).

Glad to see a familiar chain in the U.S! R.R.T is originally from my home country Taiwan. Ive tried it a couple times there, during my visit back home and was happy to see it in the Westfield mall. Its located on the 2nd floor. Lines are usually super long. I ordered the oolong milk tea. Taste was good but disappointed they ran out of boba! My bf wanted passion tea with boba but wasnt able to get it since they were sold out. You would think they have a better supply for ingredients since boba is their main thing? Price is higher than usual. Starting at $4.75. Additional costs for boba, milk, etc. If lines werent long its worth trying out, just hope they improve on supply. Service is good. read more

This place is a famous franchise from Taiwan. I had to try it since my friend told me they were open in westfield mall. They're located infront of Hanna Anderson and William Sonoma store. I tried the japanese buckwheat milk tea and it was Yummmy!! Not too strong, not too light. Perfectly brewed! When we went, the line wasn't crazy. As soon as we ordered there must have been 30+ more people in line behind us. Thank god we got there at good timing. Rabbit Rabbit is a cute concept, not new to us, but to people in America. Very, very poorly managed. It was super busy but instead of trying to manage the crowd, about 30 people just waited around for an hour for their drinks. They have 4 machines where you can order your drinks from but only 1 person making drinks and another trying to get the drink order stickers onto cups. I suggested to the manager that they should shut down two of the machines but the woman was beyond incompetent. If you see people waiting around, just expect to wait at least 50 mins. read more

Cute concept, but the drink I chose didn't stand out. Sulley's cloud smoothie. Very cute how it matched his blue and purple colors but the taste was just okay. The consistency of the ice in the smoothies was very large and chunky, so wasn't really a smooth slurp, felt more like I was slurping up ice pieces. Not sure how to explain it but It is what it is. The tea flavour is not strong, nor is the boba made with quality in mind as it was hard in the center. I'm under the assumption that their fruit teas are front-loaded with artificial syrups since that's what the white peach resembled. Price: To compromise quality, the price point is the selling factor. Boba priced around $5-$7 is a rarity these days, but this shop does it. Just know that you're paying for lesser quality in your order. Customer Service: Wow, that needs work. The other review was not kidding about their employees and how they communicate. Customer interactions can heavily change the view of the store and will make/break the experience. With this already broken experience being topped by their employee "communication," I'm surprised they have returning customers. There are a plethora of better boba shops in the same area. The owners are serious about high-quality tea, great on its own or mixed, with or without boba or other additions. They go to the tea estates to source their Chinese black tea. As a tea-lover, I applaud this, and I enjoy discussing tea culture with them. The owners run the shop in colder weather, when people forget they offer special hot drinks, and hot teas, caffè lattes, and Vietnamese coffee. In the hotter months, the staff expands. The decor is subtle, the music never interferes with thought or speech, good amount of outside light. The tea mocktails are some of my favorites, usually juices or purées with green tea, sometimes jasmine green. I'd love some Moroccan tea, made with gunpowder green tea and fresh spearmint (peppermint is too strong), but it's not from Asia. Drink sizes are 16 (hot and cold) or 24 (cold only) oz. There's teaware, full leaf teas found on the menu (we love ancient black at home for iced tea), baked mochi treats, and tea jellies. We bring our own tea tumblers, more rigid than the plastic cups they use. There are often tea "barista" classes on weekends before they open for customers, should you like to learn something more exotic. On weekends and Mondays, they open at noon, otherwise it's 11am.

But I definitely will be back soon to try their oolong next time

The directions took me to the back entrance of the place, but I can see that they have a decent sized parking lot that is shared amongst the other stores there. The place looked nice and clean from what I remembered. We ordered on the kiosk, which was easy. I was thrilled to see that they have the Thai Tea in slushy form because not alot of places do that. So I got that with mini bobas while my boyfriend got the Taro Slushy. We waited for probably about 7 minutes til our drinks were ready. The employee seemed nice. We tried our drinks, and we loved them! :) We would definitely come back here again for the next time I'm craving boba! :)

Usually we head to the eastside to get egg coffee. I also recommend the mango coconut smoothie, its really good. They have been slowly adding some snacks to their menu as well. So far they have, croissant, butter mochi and a pate chaude. The customer service is really friendly, you can order on the kiosks, but you can also order in person if you want to pay in cash.
