I always wanted to stop by the Raffas market in Pomona but never had the chance this market in La Habra is really good it's medium-sized with a lot of stocked items and fresh seafood, meats, sausages vegetables, and just about everything you need. The hot prepared food is really good. The Carnitas are delicious. I ordered a breakfast combination of Carnitas beans and rice with a couple of fried eggs we also ordered chile relleno, and both dishes were good. The customer service was ok but like I said before I speak Spanish I read Spanish and write Spanish, but others don't and there seemed to be no one who was working that day who knew even a little bit of English and that's a problem with customer service but with that said everything else was good. Their desserts are really good. strawberries and cream, Las Agua de Fruta made just right, delicious Mexican bread. tamales everything made in store. I'll be visiting more often and soon.

    Solo 3 limones medianos

Checa tu ticket, siempre cobran demás!! Precios altos..

Bionicos in Raffa's Market in La Habra, CA.

My review isn't for the market as a whole. My review is specifically for the bionicos. I LOVE the bionicos that is sold here. I've tried the bionicos at North Gate and I didn't like it that much. I like my fruit cut chunkier, my yogurt thicker and my granola crunchier. I always come here for the bionicos. So good!!!

I had a wonderful phone conversation with the owner Ben who personally took my order. We agreed upon a date and time two weeks out since I was going to be out of town for the 4th of July week. They called while I was out of town to confirm the date and time (between 10-11 am) which was great! When I arrived to the store with my son around 11:15 because of the heavy traffic on 91W I went to the counter and was told by a young female that I needed to go to the pay counter. She was curt and not helpful. There was only three people ahead of me so no problem. But the elder gentleman in front of me, who was being helped by the young man who would eventually help me, took an exceptionally long time with his order. I'm just here to pay and pick up. No problem, I'll be patient and keep waiting. Two other costumers are helped by the female counter person and finally the elder customer leaves with his order and I'm next. The young male counter person then waits for me to initiate the conversation and doesn't greet me with a smile or hello or how can I help. I brush it off. I tell him I'm here to pick up my order, a whole pig and give him my last name. He fumbles around a few seconds and then asks how to spell my name and eventually finds my ticket order and asks what time. The time is written at the top of the ticket he failed to notice. I pay for the order. He mutters someone will be out with my order and disappears. No thank you, no attentiveness like he gave the older gentleman in front of me. Again, I've been in my car with my son for over two hours from San Diego in traffic and this fella couldn't give me five minutes of courtesy. I'm waiting, and waiting and waiting while others eventually come into the store and are being helped and leaving. The older female worker at the pay counter is still there helping customers while the younger female at the deli counter is now apparently on a break and making herself lunch. She stops momentarily when a customer comes in for deli service. I'm still waiting by the counter to make sure I'm at least acknowledged but I don't see the young male counter worker who apparently left for lunch since it's now noon. The older female worker can probably see on my face that I'm not happy and says to me he's working on my order. He? Who's he? I am just here to pay and pick order between 10-11. How much time and trouble could it be to put this order together which was made two weeks prior? A different gentlemen finally arrives with three boxes and two large paper bags that comprise my order. On the way out the older female worker says goodbye and was very courteous. At this point I'm pretty upset because this is not a large haul and this order could've easily been second and not 45 minutes! I arrive home after the two hour drive back home to SD and looking forward to the meat, especially the sausages and putting it into the freezer which I cleared out in preparation for the meat. My older son is home to help. As we are sorting and placing the meat I notice that there are no sausages. It's just sausage meat but no links. I guess it's my fault for assuming and not specifying sausage links on at peat some of the order. It was a huge letdown. I had array went out to purchase rolls and buns for a bbq this weekend and to have friends and family over. Oh well. You live and you learn. At least the bacon was great.

The Wagyu was savory without being overly rich, and the chicken breast was lean but still really flavorful. They give you the choice between the regular chicken, which is dark meat and a little more savory, or the chicken breast, which is the leaner option. Personally, I eat a lot of lean meat, so pairing the Wagyu with the chicken breast was perfect for me. I also chose a double order of the macaroni salad for both of my sides instead of the kale salad or the other original side. It was a little extra, but completely worth it. It's hard to find places with really good macaroni salad, and this one did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the entire plate. But for $20, I can get a two-meat plate with high quality white meat chicken + beef + fried egg, and feel satiated until late afternoon (might be the peptides talking tho, who knows ;) ). I think their mac salad is good, but not worth the upcharge. I do suggest getting extra sauce on the side, as usually the one cup they give isn't enough based on the portion. I also love ordering ahead and just grab n go. This and Urban Grill are both solid options.
