Great Ramen! Just got back from Japan & while I haven't found exactly what I had there, this was good ramen.

What a much needed addition to Lincoln Crossing's dining choices! This place is conveniently located in the Raley's parking lot. I had the gyoza and the spicy pork cutlet ramen and both were delicious. I don't care for fatty pork cutlets, and these were both lean and tender. Finished with a dish of vanilla ice cream. The service, even at 3pm, was friendly and attentive. I especially enjoyed their little patio, which had plenty of shade and surprisingly comfy metal chairs that rocked a bit. The inside was nicely decorated and plenty cool on a warm summer afternoon. Prices were comparable to most other Ramen places. So glad I no longer have to drive to Rocklin for great ramen! read more

I came here 40 min till closing and the ambiance was warm and relaxing. I had ordered the Tori shio ramen, that's with chicken, really good salty flavor and so filling, and it was a lot! I also had a free 2 piece crab ragoon real crab inside so good. The service was great, very attentive nice ppl. Will come again for their other ramens. read more

The experience of this restaurant was so fun. I loved the way they decorated the place, and their cute fishies by the front door made me and my five year old excited. The food was absolutely amazing, and my picky five year old ate almost his whole bowl of kids ramen. He even tried to use the chopsticks, but they happily provided a fork when asked. The server was friendly, she had some difficulties taking our drink orders, but no issues ordering our food. The takoyaki was the best quality and flavor I've had in the area and I try them everywhere I go. We tried the original and garlic tonkatsu which was amazing, big portions and rich flavor. I left full and satisfied and the price was reasonable. The free ice cream at the end was the perfect way to wrap up. My five year old is raving about the food and when we are going next. Hope they stay in Lincoln for a long time! read more

My foodie friend and I tried this place last week. We ordered what was recommended to is from a few things we thought looked good. While the service was fine, there was no one else in the place, we were rarely checked on. The food was, well, meh. While the sauce was okay, the food itself was so bland. Price point was okay. For you Ramen heads, there's a new winner in town: Rai Jin, next door on the left to Raley's and set back. Just opened August 24th. Nice interior, tasteful, roomy. They offer over a dozen types: tonkotsu, miso, shoyu, mapo, and a vegetarian Yasai. I had the Garlic Miso Tonkotsu. Outstanding. Firm, springy noodles, perfectly sliced slightly fatty pork (as it should be), beautiful dusk-colored jammy egg, and a creamy, opaque, milky pale brown broth (as it should be.) I came from Oakland which has a couple righteous ramen places and down in Torrance where there are excellent ramen houses. I find Rai Jin to be the best ramen I've had in the numerous houses I've tried in Lincoln, Rocklin and Roseville. It's worthy of your discovering it! read more

Delicious ramen and great service. I got the garlic tonkotsu and my husband got the vegetarian. It's always nice when we find a spot that has a veggie option (since he doesn't usually get to eat Ramen with me). The garlic tonkotsu was flavorful and good and a healthy portion. My husband said the veggie broth was a little bland (understandably so); but once he spiced it up with the extras, it was great. We will definitely be back. I LOVED this place when it was in Sacramento (they broke off and opened this place)....last night while taking out...I found that the broth for Mapo Ramen was WATERY and Fishy...yuck! Please get your prices together (same on take out menu and dine-in...)and FIX the broth!!!! Also, the "mother restaurant" packaged the noodles uncooked for takeout in a separate bag so that they didn't get mushy and they gave twice as much broth!!! FIX it as I want you to succeed!!! Also, woman who greeted me was not very welcoming....again FIX these things as I love you being so close to me so I don't have to drive all the way to Sac. For my ramen! read more

The place is Very good. I needed ramen and I live in lincoln so the fact that it was down the street was awesome. The broth was delicious, I got the Tonkotsu Ramen. The egg was perfectly cooked, the noodles were delicious. This place is going to be crazy popular this fall when all you want is something delicious to warm your soul. Also, shout out to the spring rolls, so hot and crunchy. However, I'm probably going to have to give the crab rangoons a try next time. I have no idea why this place has 5 star reviews. I went there today and the food was not good. We got the Tonkotsu ramen and it had no flavor. The noodles had such a weird rubbery texture, almost like they were premade the day before and just reheated. Even the pork didn't taste good and it came out super cold. The broth had almost no flavor. We also got the hotate Okonomi Yaki. The only flavor from that came from the sauce on top. Okonomi yaki is supposed to be flat and crispy but this was thick and mushy in the middle. The only thing we even liked was the free crab Rangoon. I wouldn't spend my money here again. read more
