My sister got the elk gyro and enjoyed it, even tho she thought the elk was a little fatty. Other sister got chicken tenders, and they satisfied her. The service was really good, we were seated immediately, waited on quickly by friendly servers and checked on multiple times during our visit. I had really high hopes for the food, but was a little disappointed. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich; the only flavor was in the buffalo sauce, the chicken was pretty bland from what I could tell. My husband had the truffle burger, I actually liked his better than my own. He however, thought that it was just ok. The fries were pretty yummy! Pretty cool atmosphere, I loved all the plants and the wall art! The bathrooms were clean and nice, which is always a plus. Definitely a place above the rest in Cheyenne. The food is always delicious. No matter what you order it's always great. The service is great as long as they are fully staffed. The ambience is laid back but always friendly. The only minor negative is the cold draft we always get if you sit in the main area. The colder it gets, the more you'll need to keep your coat on since the tables are close to the main door. read more

The only bummer about this place is that we live in Texas and we can't enjoy this great little dive more often. This restaurant was clean, colorful, inviting, and had a great vibe. The music was the perfect volume and the jams were on point. We ordered drinks from the bar and both were tasty and the perfect size. Burger with no onions had such a robust onion flavor, I spent the night with heartburn. Mozzarella cheese sticks were still cold in the middle. This is far more a bar than a restaurant. The food was good but there's not much on the menu. They made a solid effort of being more than just bar food. The Railspur is poised to be one of the hottest spots in town. Like everything Chad Willett does, it's cool, edgy and fantastic. I had the pleasure of attending the soft opening. I tried two of their specialty cocktails and was very impressed. I'm normally a beer/wine drinker, but wanted to try the beverages they hope to become known for. I tried the strawberry rhubarb cosmopolitan and the agua fresca fizz. Both drinks were delightful, but the agua fresca was especially delicious--light, refreshing and not too sweet! We were able to try a few of their food items. The meats and cheese on the charcuterie board were top notch, and I'm a charcuterie snob! The brioche buns brought something new to the classic dinner roll with their seasonings and jam. The calamari was light and tender and the whiskey meatballs had me wanting seconds. Chef/owners Juan Coronado and Seth Stefanik have earned their great reputation in this community and it's awesome to see them as part of this venture. The vibe inside the Railspur is classy and cool. It's certain to be "the place" to be seen. It's industrial meets artsy meets mid-century mod and it's awesome! The staff was working hard to meet the demands of a bustling and excited crowd.
