New moen shower valve with copper tub spout

Missing jewelry! My custom permanent yellow gold bracelet with a heart and star turned up missing. It was placed together with two rings and another bracelet all positioned side by side in a secure visible location on a glass table next where I was sitting and next to the area being worked on. While the workers were there I called to their attention that there was still an open hole. I was told repeatedly there was no open hole in my attic that they made. So I went in my attic to take pictures. It was a significant amount of time that I was not monitoring what was going on inside the house and I left my jewelry unattended ( almost 30 minutes based on texts and photos). I personally had to climb thru my attic to get proof of the corners they cut. They tried to get away with not doing all work listed on my invoice. They even rewrote contract instead of removing and discarding all old cpvc pipe. It took multiple attempts to get a receipt for moen warranty. I paid them thousands of dollars ( why didn't they know moen requires model numbers on receipt when they use moen products)? Definitely want to point out - because my jewelry is "missing" and "they weren't caught in the act on a camera" (I wanted to make sure I was registered with manufacture not them)- And thats when I found out they don't issue receipts needed for warranty? Just imagine if they didn't do things listed on the invoice and would rather reword contract instead of doing all the work- I have no idea what other things didn't get done. For example tub shower has copper pipe for the tub spout. I didn't see any welding. Hmmm makes me wonder. I definitely don't have peace of mind. And they are not honoring the Consumer Review Fairness Act. I did not have a good experience with this company and their lawyer says there can be no negative comments posted about them. So this is an edit from original post and all of the above is just my personal experience from hiring Rainaldi Home Services to do my Repipe. Missing jewelry! This review is long overdue. In October of last year, our upstairs AC unit stopped operating. We hired them to investigate and fix the problem. The brought a technician for a fee and he explained that the circuit board went out and a new one was needed. I told them to go ahead and fix it. They brought a repair person on a Friday to fix it, who spent almost a whole work day to get it resolved. It was a ripoff at over $1500 for the fix. The repair person also had trouble removing the blades, so he replaced it at no charge. After many hours, it started working again and the house started cooling. Case closed and a happy ending, right? WRONG!!! After I came back from a concert during the same day, I noticed that the unit stopped working again and I also smelled smoke. Turned out the thermostat was smoking. I tried turning off the thermostat and immediately sparks flew out. I called late at night out of panic (as they have an emergency line), but nobody answered. I left a voice mail, but never heard back until the next day. I had to switch off the circuit breaker. The finally called the next day and brought a technician to see what's the problem. He came and said the thermostat got broken and it would be over $300 to replace it! They didn't even look at the unit outdoors! I told them that was unacceptable and they need to really look what was the issue and fix it! He refused! I tried calling the office, but got ghosted. I was out over 1500 dollars with a fried thermostat and non working unit. I had another AC company investigate further at what happened. It turned out that the repair person at Rainaldi tried to connect a high voltage wire to something meant for lower voltage, frying everything connected. It meant I had to get the AC replaced! I was furious! Not only did they charge me over 1500 for a fix that didn't work, but they refused any responsibility for frying the unit! Either the repair person was inexperienced, or they maliciously did it to try to get me to buy a new one from them. If I didn't come back home sooner and noticed the smoking thermostat, the house could have caught on fire! Thankfully my payment company was able to resolve the charges. Because of their dishonesty and ripping me off, they unfortunately get my first one star review. It's a shame because we used them before and they used to be ok, but now they decided to try to squeeze every part of my money they can without fixing anything. I will never recommend them again.

We have an old house and as mentioned before on Yelp! we have had great experiences and terrible experiences. This time we had a fantastic experience. Hunter explained the work, was knowledgable and very friendly, plus, he gave us a competitive bid. The work was completed just as explained. The workers were skilled and focused. When there was a little bobble a month later they promptly came back under the warranty and got it straight, even though it probably didn't have to do with their work. This is the plumber to use, you will be grateful you did!

Well when we got in wouldn't you know it there was a new SHOWER in our downstairs guest bathroom from a flooding AC up above! (We had workers putting in a floor and we forgot to turn off the AC so the coil was totally jammed with wood chips and all kinds of debris!) I called DC/AC and problem solved quickly! They cleaned the coils for a very affordable price and our Carrier now runs way better than when we moved in! We will definitely be using the DCAC team when this one kicks the bucket - though I have an intuition with them on my side that will be many many moons!

The person was kind enough to send me an email document breaking down their preventative maintenance plans and the benefits of them. I scheduled an appointment, and my technician, Stephen Chaplin, arrived right on schedule! Mr. Chaplin was incredibly friendly and personable. He knows his craft quite well, as he explained to me all of the details of what was happening regarding my A/C unit and the maintenance he was performing. I also got some great advice regarding cleaning my ducts and other maintenance tips. I also got some great bits of knowledge about Boston from Stephen, as he's from there and I was fortunate enough to visit that city. He was great to talk to. These folks are fantastic. They're a professional operation that does great work at fair prices. I'm very satisfied indeed!!

for this work either. Please note that when mastic is used properly and cured it poses no danger…read morewhen it is dry and stays in place. This is not the case here. The aggressive manner in which it was used described below has been cracking, peeling, and forming chalk dust substance because of bad excessive application! The molecular structure changes to a very dangerous respirable dust that is not only dangerous but can cause life threatening complications when inhaled. Beware!!!! If I could give this company a zero I would. They took advantage of my parents in their 80s. Last October they trusted and used this company to put all new ductwork in to their home. The duct work was all new and these men decided put thick layers of mastic all over the inside of the ac system from inside the junction boxes, to all over the supply plenum, to the entire return box, all over the boot- so much so that the fins for the registrar are stuck in place with gobs of mastic. For weeks after installment pieces of this large mastic was coming down. Extremely toxic to breath in dust form and instead of taking accountability for a workmanship malfunction that we were all breathing, they sold my parents a halo device and denied any relation to the mastic. The recommended doing more work and replacement, more money! Now we have cracking mastic in dust form entering the home and it's making us all sick. This product when dried and crumbling is like breathing cement dust. We are all deterioting for this complete disregard for human life and they have never returned to even try to help the problem much less care about our health with such a careless process after making money hand over fist on my family. It's on our clothing, in the air we breathe, in our stomach , on our skin. We don't even know if they worked on a home with asbestos, black mold, etc and used this same bucket of mastic from that kind of job - to the. do overkill on brand new duct work that didn't need it. We are all increasingly getting sicker and sicker as we actively see all of this cracking, peeling, and dispersing all through what is supposed to be to be our fresh air. At any given time we cough blood and find ourselves in severe pain. I myself have been to the er countless time with respiratory distress from inhaling all of this. They also knocked over the dryer vent in the attic to the roof while replacing duct work and that was left like that for months until we had them return because of said complaints above - they tried to blame it on a man that is extremely professional that cleaned the dryer vent months prior to them even coming out or meeting us. This man has a picture of how he left everything intact and connected. These guys will blame anyone and anything for the damage they have created. These men are should be out of business for what they have done and be held responsible for all health damages they created. Stay away from this company at all costs. My family is suffering because of the poor workmanship and in proper over use of thick mastic (overkill) everywhere - that never cured properly. Take precaustion and don't use this company! We are suffering a tremendous cost (our health) at the hands of these people. These people have ruined our quality of life, the safety of our home, and this is no small issue. I can't stress enough that you will be sorry for using them and the lasting effects it could have on your breathing and health. We have had the dust that is coming down constantly tested and it's 100% dried mastic from what they did. It's shameful.this is just little glimpse of what we are breathing everyday. It's criminal. This is situation isn't over - and justice will prevail.

Everyone was very helpful and expedient. I didn't have to swelter in this Florida heat for more than a day (someone came out and confirmed that in fact, my old AC was indeed, very dead and they replaced it within 24 hours). Since they were so highly recommended by the neighbors, many of whom are good friends, I trusted No Sweat when they told me which unit would best fit our home. 24 hours later they were installing the unit and I have to say, the work is impeccable. I cannot say enough good things about them, you won't be disappointed.

I give a top rating to this company for sales and installation of a new A/C system in my home…read more Their sales rep, Todd, did a fine job of explaining technical details and prices for different A/C systems, plus pricing for additional optional features. Catherine made the contract process very easy. When I requested two small changes in the proposed contract, she quickly implemented those and sent me a revised contract for my approval (even though she was traveling and was out of the country at the time). The installation team of John and Jack professionally completed a complex installation in a small closet space. I was very pleased with every aspect of dealing with this company, and I can highly recommend them. They completed this installation for $7,000, for a system that had been quoted by another company at $12,000.
