I feel terrible for using this service. My dog, a black lab, started behaving strangely after getting groomed last week. He stopped eating and was lethargic. Then yesterday he was trying to reach by his tail and when I checked I noticed he had a huge scab under his fur. As I checked more I found a few others. Never again. UPDATE: Took my dog to Vet yesterday and he confirmed the wounds were scrapes consistent with the use of a deshedding tool. My dog is now on antibiotics and medication to relieve the itching. We have been using this grooming service for over a year. The past 3 times (6-8 months) thet have always been late. We have accepted that, and called them again, understanding that not every appointment may go as planned. Today was not right, my wife deals with them, always; today I had to deal with them, for the first time. We have always paid cash, so we made sure to have the cash ready, and withdrew $100 cash from the bank in $20s and $10. The groomer finished, I asked how much I owed, and her answer was $95. Come back to my house, grab the bank envelope, grab $90, leave a $10 behind, and grab a $5 out of my wallet. Hand it to her, say thanks, close my door. Within a minute, doorbell, saying I gave her only $85. Found it VERY odd, as there is still $10 in the envelope, which is correct, but still grab the$10, give it to her, and tell her, that it's odd knowing there was $100 from the bank, I counted $90, plus the $5, yet she's claiming I shorted her. Uncool, unjust. THEY claimed the groomer doesn't need to do that on their text back to us, but, do I have a need to do that? To short her after taking care of my dog, and it's not the first time don't so? Well, it'll be they last time! read more

Amazing! I was skeptical with using this mobile groomer, but the results were great. This was my second mobile grooming experience. The first was by a well known local groomer with 5 stars! I have a Maltese-Poodle mix and I have him specific instructions on how to groom Bella. When I got her back, she was completely shave with very little hair on her head and tail. She looked totally out of her bread. I was super disappointed, especially with paying so much. I found Rainbow, first, on google. I was skeptical due to the 3.7 star raising. Sandra came an hour early, which was fine with me. I only asked her to not shave Bella completely. She did the rest. I was amazed when she brought her back. She did so well. I'm so happy. I had high expectation for Rainbow grooming but only to be disappointed. Groomer was late almost 30 mins and didn't even bother to call to let me know he was late. So I had to call and asked if he was still coming. I spoke with the groomer about my 9lbs puppy and told him it was his second time getting groomed at 8 months old. The haircut turned out to be uneven but I did not realize that until I took my pup back inside. Groomer told me that my puppy moved too much. I think he also gave up on cutting my pup's nails as well, they are still sharp! Any groomers know that with puppies you have to go slow and give them break in between. At a previous grooming establishment they said my pup was great for a first timer, but I chose mobile grooming this time because the wait isn't as long. Anyway, I had to fix a few spots where it was uneven on my own. Hopefully groomer can learn to work with puppies and takes his time. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. After picking my dog up (small shih tzu), I noticed a SLIT in her ear and what appears to be crusted blood. I also observed that it looks like the wound was BURNED, probably to try to cauterize it to stop the bleeding (so maybe what I am seeing is not crusted blood, but burnt skin--or probably both). This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. A true professional would have the skills to groom a dog, no matter how slow the process might need to be under certain circumstances, without causing injury to the pet. There is absolutely no excuse for this. The worst part is that they DID NOT EVEN TELL ME ABOUT THE INCIDENT. Completely unprofessional. I can only imagine the pain and trauma that she must have experienced--having a part of her be slit and not even having her owners there to comfort her because they did not bother to call them. If I had been called, I could have taken her to the vet to have the wound stitched. But no one called me. In my opinion, they injured my dog and did not notify me, and tried to cover it up to avoid issues. Now, there is a possibility that my dog might, in the future, rip off the piece of her ear that is left hanging. If you care about the health, safety, and well-being of your pets, I would not recommend that you take them to this groomer. read more

I took my little Elliot (aka my miniature sheltie) to Rainbow Grooming, and I can honestly say that this pet grooming service offers professional services for an affordable price. PetSmart offers a comprehensive package of nail grooming, anal gland cleaning, and a haircut for $50, but at Rainbow Grooming they do it for $40. The hair was cut as well as I would have liked it, which shows superb attention to detail- not too short, and not too long, and he left the groomers wearing a cute green bandana. I will have to point out that my grooming service took about four hours overall, but that may be because there was a long line of six dogs that day. Also, when I got my dog back, he seemed a little bit tired, but that may have been just due to him resisting a haircut. Overall, a good affordable place. Very clean. If I am ever in need of dog grooming again, I would probably come back here. read more

****Never take your dog here**** My husband took my dog here and he came out with the hair and skin around his eye missing. They still had the nerve to charge us for the haircut. After an emergency trip to the vet my poor dog is now on antibiotics and has to wear a cone for 2 weeks. When asked to refund me the money and pay for my vet bill I was told that the dog already had the infection and that I was getting ripped off by the vet. Look at the picture and judge for yourself. Rainbow grooming did a great job on both my puppies. They were able to come to my house by 1245 even though I had called them at 8:00am. The van was very clean and and it didn't appear that they used old water as I could see where water was discharged from the van. I believe the groomers name was Leticia and she did a wonderful job despite the fact that my dogs had never been to a groomers and where probably little brats. I only took my dog to get a pawdicure. Costumer service 3/5 . As soon as I got there the two young ladies seemed like they weren't happy working there . Didn't even greet me , the other one didn't even say hi .. the pawdicure itself , the price was 20$ that supposedly included nail cut, hair cut around the paws , ear cleaning and hair cut around the ears, bow and some spray .. after I paid , I went back and I was told my dog was done . She only got her nails cut . I had to go back and ask about what the pawdicure included , the young lady( I don't even know her name) told me she didn't know that I wanted all that . Uhmmm hello I'm paying for all that .. so she cut the hairs around the paws .. and supposedly my dog was done , I had to instruct the lady that the ear cleaning was also included, i didn't even push for the hair cut in the ears .. anyway at the end of the service the pawdicure looked great , I just wish I didn't have to go back and tell her what is included in the package .. needless to say that my dog didn't get her bow and spray lol .. Sad. I've used this dog grooming company in the past they did an on job. I recently used them this week for my dogs, my shepherd mix came back limping the dog groomer told my husband "she's limping I don't know why." The dog was fine before she was groomed. I took the dog to the vet today the vet said she has a torn ligament from force and now I have to spend $5K to have surgery for the poor dog. Never ever again will I use this company. read more

Well I can not rate them because I made an appointment about 2 weeks ago for today 6-20-2019 at 10:00am. I finally called them today at 10:09am to see where they were at in case they got lost and was told by a lady answering their phone that they called me yesterday to confirm and she didn't get an answer so they just went ahead and canceled the appointment. I checked my phone and they did not call nor did they leave a message on my voice mail and for that matter they could have communicated in yelp where they originally messaged me back and forth to make the appointment in the first place. They need to come up with a better way of communication skills for their business.
