Almost everything in there is expired and not up to date. One of the things I got expired in 2020.

Rainbow Market is honest and family owned. Owner is fair and has been in business for over 30 yrs. They are not price gouging. The toilet paper is 1.79 per roll. Limit one per person. So if you do the math they would sell 9 rolls for 16.11 plus tax. But they won't sell 9 rolls to anyone. They want to make sure they have enough for anyone so they are limiting the sale to one per person. Terrie review sent the police over to this small business and found her review to be UN --true!!! He had sales receipts for all past sales and he actually has not raised his price for toilet paper in over 10 yrs!!!!!! Come on people get your facts straight before you write a bad review. this is a very disappointing post a about our local mini market! stopped in to see if our neighborhood market had any toilet paper left and was very please to find they had some in stock. then i noticed the price, $17.99 for 6 rolls!!!! what!!!! i mentioned there is a law against price gouging, the max increase is 10%!!!! the worker laughed and asked if i wanted the 24 rolls for $40.00!!! this is a disgrace! i would like to encourage all locals to boycott any store that takes advantage of the neighbors that support them in good time but take advantage in a crisis situation!!!!!! shame on you rainbow market!!! read more

I am so grateful this market is in our neighborhood. From quickie pick up items, to liquor and beer, AND a yummy deli, this place always comes in clutch. The counter guys are super friendly and helpful. If they don't have what you need, ask and thou shalt receive. read more

Now, more than ever is a good time to go and give thanks to those businesses who have ensured we are all okay during these times. I want to give a huge thanks to Rainbow Market, who have been serving my family for nearly 15 years and have been there serving others for even longer. Since this whole pandemic has been going on I have been able to visit the market and find everything I have needed to get by. From toilet paper, milk, water, and eggs. Everything has been there in stock and within walking distance to my house. It's a great one stop shop and always good to see Isaac and Moeny when I stop in. This is another place I've passed for years and years and years. Every time I'm headed over to that side of town I see the brightly lit colors of the place spelling out their name, and think. "I really should go there." Every time I'm headed back from my trips over there I think the same. After living in Santa Clarita for a decade, this place has always cried out for my attention, but was always just a few turns too many out of the way. On my way home from school late one night, I finally decided to check it out. I parked outside and entered the store. The guy manning the store to my right greeted me, and the guy running the grill looked up and asked if he could help me. I thanked them both and approached he grill side of the place. A standing sign read the specials of the day. One of which read "Chicken Marsalla with vegetables and mashed potato." Sounded fancy and interesting, so I went for it. To go order please! The guy said it'd be about ten minutes, so I took the time to wander the store part of the place. The aisles were full of the regular things you'd find in a liquor store. There were some anomalies however. As most stores tend to have that certain 'je ne sai quoi' they just have. But for the most part it's a liquor store. Booze, Beer, and accoutrements that might be needed when drinking either. I meandered about for a lil while, grabbed a cold root beer, and then sat down at a table by the grill. There's only one table, so I had to share it with an old dude who was eating something. Before too long, the guy behind the grill waved at me, and put a container in a bag for me. He gave me a ticket, and informed me to pay over at the one register in the place. I handed my root beer, and my dinner ticket to the guy behind the register, and he pleasantly rang them up. the total was ten something after tax. I thanked them both, and returned to my car to finish the drive home. Now with dinner secured. I got home and dug in. It was actually far better than I thought it'd be. It was really quite tasty. Well prepared with excellent veggies and flavors. From what I understand, the pizza is pretty great too. Thank you Rainbow Market. Now that I know, I'll be more likely to make those few extra turns to get to your doorstop. read more

REVIEWING THE FOOD ONLY! Liquor store portion is typical. I think the food area is owned by a different person but I am unsure. The food here is a hidden gem. We takeout the sandwiches,pizza, and grilled entrees all the time. Everything is very fresh and made to order. Tastes like stuff you would find at Greek owned American diner. read more

Great hidden deli - at first glance price might seem high but there is 1/2# of meat on the sandwiches. 1 sandwich can feed most people 2 meals. Friendly service. 1st time is a bit strange as you don't pay the deli guy. Order at deli them go to main liquor store cashier w/order slip & pay-get receipt. , when order ready give deli guy the receipt. These sandwiches are mostly meat w/little filler. Reviewing food only (deli is inside the market) although they do have a nice little market for last minute needs and the cashier is really nice. Ok, now for the food. They used to have a bigger menu selection (which a previous Yelper explained in his review) which was amazing but have scaled back to sandwiches and burgers along with sides like, fries, potato salad, macaroni salad, etc. Let me tell you that these are not your standard burgers and sandwiches but half pound, fresh beef burgers with all the condiments as well as fresh made sandwiches stacked with meat. The burgers are juicy and drip all over (from the meat itself) and come in an array of choices from BBQ, Chili, Mushroom and Cowboy style that has an over easy egg on it. My all time favorite there is the turkey and provolone sandwich that has a half pound of fresh turkey (roasted on the premises) with a pesto mayo dressing on a toasted roll. Simply delicious. They also have pastrami, italian, tuna, philly cheese steak, roast beef, bbq tri tip and roast beef to boot which I'll try someday if I can get off the burger and turkey sandwich kick. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Humberto and Sam are cooks/server and are really nice guys. They have 2 tables inside the market but I usually get my food to go. Enjoy! read more

I live near here and the guy that is usually working behind the counter, I believe his name is Manny based on other customers reference to him, is completely unprofessional. He has on several occasions tried to manipulate and cheat me out of money owed me. The last time I was there I gave him money for payment and he gave me change that was a dollar short and just looked at me. I said, "no" and he turned around and then gave me another dollar. He knew exactly what he was doing. This has happened repeatedly with him. Too many people trust him in our neighborhood. It's not okay. read more
