My kid loves this place so we have to go here every time we are in the neighborhood. She loves the decor and all the animals, yes she is in her 20s now but when we go here it is like she is my little girl again. On our recent visit my party made a reservation for Sunday rather than Saturday. The hostess, upon seeing our goof brushed it off and got us promptly seated even though it seemed very busy. We were greeted by a very pleasant and kind waitress Lindsay. To start she was vey attentive but seemed very busy with many other tables. We placed our order and even ordered some items recommended by Lindsay. When I ordered my plate I asked for some steak sauce and even asked again later but I was never brought any. I understood she was very busy but my food went cold and everyone at my table was finished with their food by the time she realized her goof. She was very nice and refunded my uneaten meal and insisted I take it with me even though I didn't want to as I was staying in a hotel. We will definitely return as we really enjoy this place, especially this location. The service is always great including this time even with the goof. Mistakes happen especially when handling so many tables.

$9.49 for this tiny bowl of clam chowder!

2.5 stars is what I would probably give. Pros: Our waitress Amy was very nice, she checked on us several times and updated us on our food arrival. She seemed a little overwhelmed as it was pretty busy and there was a line of people waiting to get seated, but she was still friendly. The outside and the inside of the restaurant is really fun and the perfect place to bring younger kids. We hadn't been here in a good 9 years but it was nice to see the decor outside of the main mall entrance as well as the area outside the restaurant, inside the mall and the gift shop. It's just fully immersed in jungle theme for kids! There's a little smoke, steam and animal hollering every 15-20 mins or so. Our table was right next to the pond with the atlas statue so the water was loud, on top of the jungle sounds so it was really hard to talk to the people in your party. Cons: the food was overpriced for what it is and how much food you get. My little cup of maybe 7 or 8 ounces of clam chowder was $9.49! It didn't taste extraordinary or freshly made, probably out of a can. The kids fried shrimp was just ok as well. My taco salad was also just average. It was on the smaller side and had some chopped iceberg lettuce. It tasted ok. Nothing to write home about but people don't come here for the food. It just felt $2-$3 dollars more per dish than it needs to be. We are in Ontario but I guess the extra $$ is going to the upkeep of the fun and cool stuff inside. It also took at least 30 mins to get our food so don't come hungry! They don't have any complimentary chips and salsa or bread to hold you over until your food comes out. It's pretty much just a fun place to bring kids every once in a while but that's it.

I want to start off by saying these 2 stars are based solely on my overall experience here. If it weren't for Lindsay, this honestly would have been a 1-star review. Lindsay deserves 5 stars all on her own. She is genuinely one of the kindest and hardest-working servers out there. Management, if you see this, please give this girl a raise, promotion, recognition -- anything! She completely saved our experience. My family and I came here because Rainforest Cafe is nostalgic for us, just like it is for many others who grew up going to the Downtown Disney location. We did a walk-in and waited about 1.5 hours, which honestly was fine since we spent the time enjoying the mall. Once we were seated, we were assigned a server named Jace. She greeted us right away, took our drink order, and quickly brought the drinks back. She then told us, "I'm going to drop these drinks off at another table and will be right back." Little did we know, "right back" meant NEVER coming back. We waited around 40 minutes just to have our order taken, and that only happened because Lindsay noticed us sitting there unattended. Even though she was assigned to the bar area, she stepped out of her section to help us. From that point on, she basically became our server for the rest of the night even though our table was never assigned to her. Out of pure kindness, she continued taking care of us while also managing the entire bar section. To make matters worse, we had also asked the hostess for 3 forks. She only brought 2 and told us she would come back with the third one... which, just like the other promises that night, never happened either. At that point it honestly started to feel like our table was invisible. Our food ended up taking about an hour to come out, and Lindsay continuously checked in with the kitchen after noticing how long we had been waiting. In total, we were there for about 2 hours and probably sat through 4 rainforest "storms." By the FOURTH rain show, our original server, Jace, finally came back. While she apologized for "disappearing," it honestly did not feel sincere. I understand restaurants get busy and things happen, but out of respect for customers, there should at least be communication if a server needs to step away for that long or another server should be assigned to check in. The experience with Jace was extremely disappointing, but thank you to Lindsay for going above and beyond and completely saving the night for my family. Overall, Rainforest Cafe is fun for the nostalgia and atmosphere, but it is definitely not a 5 star dining experience. The food is overpriced, although still enjoyable enough. I'll probably come back again someday when I'm feeling nostalgic, but I truly hope Lindsay gets the recognition she deserves because she was the highlight of our entire visit.

Rainforest Cafe delivers exactly what it promises, an immersive jungle dining experience paired with comforting, crowd-pleasing food. The restaurant's towering trees, vibrant lighting, and rainforest ambiance create a playful environment that feels nostalgic and entertaining especially since this was our little guys pick for dinner on spring break lol. The fish and chips arrived perfectly crisp with a generous portion of fries, while the pineapple coleslaw added a refreshing balance. The kids' meal, pepperoni pizza and mac & cheese was simple yet satisfying so the kid said lol happy kid happy tummy happy parents. Another entrée, topped with crispy onion strings and sautéed vegetables, offered hearty flavors and great texture was the pot roast my hubby seemed to like it. Beyond the food, the themed decor and iconic "Rescue the Rainforest" statue that they sat us in front made this a memorable dining spot. It's a great destination for families, visitors, and anyone looking to enjoy a fun atmosphere with their meal. Bring your out of towners lol it's fun and unique! Walk it off afterwards in the mall it's about a mile long walk around the mall lol get your steps in and or dessert there or elsewhere lol volcano cake on birthdays are always fun!

First timer and I can honestly say I was highly impressed! Hubby and I brought our 4 year old on a Thursday evening. Waited about 15 min to get seated and although it took a bit for our waitress to take our orders, she was great. Very communicative, especially when the food was taking a bit long. Food was (IMO shockingly) REALLY good. I had very low expectations of the food & was a bit hesitant since the prices were a lot for a "gimmicky" restaurant but my mind is forever changed. Hubby had hot honey fried chicken, I had fish tacos. Although I was undecided between 2 meals and told the waitress to surprise me, she picked well! The tacos had a very large portion of grilled fish, the sauce had a slight kick but was delicious. My son had the steak kabobs (he was disappointed they didn't come on sticks) but they were cooked perfectly. The "thunderstorm" that occurs every 30 min was not too loud but it was a cute perk to eating at the rainforest. Bathrooms were clean. Gift shop out front was HUGE. Balloon artist that works on tips was a hit. And they even have a photographer that will take pics for you..... we bought one $20. Will we return? Absolutely.

I'll start with the food. It was not good at all. I've never really gone to a restaurant and not ate my food. I was so bothered that they had to take it off my bill. Our server was great tho. S/o to Her. We just wanted to leave and go home. I'm frustrated at the fact that we live in Northridge and traveled to Ontario for basically.....NOTHING. I mean that pasta was DRY. Like the desert. It was a Rasta Pasta and baby... it was NOTHING Rasta about that. At least our drinks were cold and good. We even got to keep the mugs/cups (they were $15, but that was worth it) We will not be retuning and it's all good. You live and you learn. We definitely learned. Oh....the ambiance was nice tho. Definitely fit the vibe of Rainforest. I actually used to go there when I was kid living in DC so it was pretty nostalgic besides the food. Yuck Maybe the animals cooked the food in the back. Even our server was like "it looks kinda dry".

Always a great experience at the rainforest Café but today Lindsay, our server made our experience 100 times better than we've ever had the best server around for sure so attentive and just the best personality when you come here you gotta ask for her. Thank you so much, Lindsay. You made our experience crate today. Will be back soon!

Food was good. We got Cobb salad, the Mac n cheese and cheesecake. Service is okay, very slow though, maybe not enough workers. Ambiance is the reason we came here though. Nothing like this place nearby. We got charged for a souvenir glass when we didn't want one, so make sure you let them know to not add that charge to your bill.

Tim was our server this Friday around 7 PM at Rainforest Cafe, and we wanted to make sure his excellent service was recognized. Usually we request Audrey, but the restaurant was very busy and we were seated in a different section. We are so glad we were placed with Tim. He hit every step of service perfectly -- from drinks, appetizers, table-side etiquette, attentiveness, and overall guest care. He works exceptionally well with small children, was incredibly patient and kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. Even on such a busy Friday night, Tim remained enthusiastic, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It is rare to find someone who clearly enjoys their work and knows how to make guests feel appreciated and comfortable. We truly appreciate the outstanding experience and the level of care he gave our family. We will absolutely be coming back and requesting Tim's section in the future as well. He went above and beyond, and we loved having him as our server. Thank you so much for hiring such wonderful employees. Sincerely, The Manross Family

I celebrated my grandson's birthday here for the second time and this restaurant never disappoints. My grandson is a bit older now and able to enjoy the atmosphere. He absolutely loved the aesthetics in the restaurant from the thunderstorms every 30 minutes, to the animated animals, everything at this restaurant caters to children. There is an awesome balloon maker that walks around, although it is not free of charge, the only thing she asks for is a tip, which I think is a great trade-off. I ordered the Pastalaya and it was so delicious, it has pasta, shrimp, sausage and chicken it's spicy, just the way I like it. I would definitely come back to this restaurant to enjoy with my family. If you tell the waitress that you are celebrating a birthday the way we were, they will bring you a complimentary cupcake.

The last time I came to this establishment was at the Anaheim location which no longer exists and I didn't think it was very good. However, I decided to give it another shot and take my kids. If I had to choose between the most expensive meal here and an In-N-Out burger combo, In-N-Out would win every single time. Service was mediocre. I didn't feel like they knew very much or even what was good. You know it's bad when you order a steak and they immediately offer A-One Sauce. My advice go inside look around and walk back out. Food is awful and super dry. I can guarantee I'll never eat here again, even if I got a free meal. Trust me save your money.

I took my 10 and 12 yr old granddaughters for lunch....every staff member we came in contact with was super friendly.... They have a couple of balloon experts on hand to make the kids animals out of the balloons..... Food was good.... Service was great... Atmosphere was fun... rain and thunder every 30 minutes... animals moving and talking.. kids love it... Parking is plentiful...

We waitied for approximately ten minutes before were called on my cell phone that our table was ready. As soon as we were seated and handed our menus, a server asked if we were ready to place our order. We told her no, since we were just seated. We did, however, place our beverage order. No sooner than when thatserver left with our drink order, another seever came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. We explained that our drink order was just taken, but we some time to look over the menu. Almost as soon as the second server departed our table, our drink order arrived. She then asked if we would like any appetizers, we ordered a half order of the cheese bread. we also placed our entrees order. Half order of cheese bread: $8.45; Pub Fish & Chips: $27.45 California Reuben with Garlic Fires: $21.45 + $2.95 Two Sodas: $@.95 each Pre-Tip Total: $75.36 We boith tried a piece of the cheese bread. Wow! We have not cheese bread such as this version before, and it was absolutely delicious! We ate it plain without dipping it into the accompanying marinara sauce (which I tasted and reminded me of a commercially prepared pedestrian, marinara sauce). This bread instantly has became one of our favorite appetizers to order at a Heroes branded restuarant. Ww barely had time to finish off our first piece of cheese bread when our entrees arrived. My wife's fish and chips looked really inviting to eat. The serving amount of fsih was appropriate and generous for the menu pricing. My wife enjoyed her lightly battered fish which was not greasy and oily to eat. She also devoured her coleslaw which she is very selective of how's it made, and the level of tanginess, which was just right for her. I dove into my California Reuben which swaps out the sauerkraut for coleslaw: all the other traditional ingredients are still used. The sandwich was generously stuffed with meat and coleslaw. Be sure to ask for extra napkins because this sandwich is messy but delicious to eat! The only minor gripe we have was the amount of times out table was approached by a whole slew of staff constantly asking us if we needed anything etc. One to three time during a meal for us is adequate, but it seems like the staff was overcompensating for some previous comments made about several Heroes restaurants having staff who perefer to talk amongst themselcves near the bar than attend to their diners. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here and look forward to eating at Heroes and Roscoes restaurants often. Hoping the owners will consider opening in the Murrieta/Temeucla area in the near future!

My friend said the seasoning on the "frachos" was good, and I said it could be the gochujang sauce. We laughed at the shape of how the potatoes were cut (maybe peeled?), as it was unexpected haha. It had the perfect ratio of fries to beef to toppings (red chili peppers, red onion, cilantro)! My friend got full from half of his sandwich, as it was packed with a lot of protein! This was the primary reason for patronizing Eureka. Ordered a Bloody Mary as well and it seems to be a pre-mix. Honestly if Jessie wasn't a great server I would find it hard to give more than 1 star. Unable to see any reason to come back.

Service was A+, our server XANDER was extremely attentive, made the experience super fun with his jokes. The ambiance was great. It was bomb.

I have to post this as shellfish allergy is common and i just want people to be aware of potential cross contamination, considering each individual may have different reactions. Came here for the first time time w my friend. Ambience was great, music was good, service felt good, great food and drinks were good.. he ordered a fish burrito and i ordered a shrimp burrito but we told the server that my friend had a shellfish allergy just in case they'd be cooked together. she acknowledged it and said she would tell the cook. we were REALLY enjoying the food and talking about how this was a cool spot, we talked about coming back because it was so good. he said he was feeling a little bit off but thought maybe we were getting a buzz from the alcohol.. but at the very end of his burrito was almost a whole shrimp.. the server said she doesn't know how it happened and that she told the manager and couldn't talk to the chef because she left.. that's fine. we still paid our full bill. it just made me feel like they just don't understand how serious that mistake could have been. Good thing we had benadryl in the car however now he's dealing with really bad stomach pain and having a grand time in the bathroom. Gratefully, his reaction isn't as severe as others.. Please just be careful.

Came here for lunch on a weekend. Food was great…read more The service was severely lacking. I get that it was busy, but our waitress was horrible. She took so long to take our drink order after we sat down, that we were ready to order our food when she came around. After she took our drink and food order, we waited 15 mins, and still no drinks. I actually had to ask another waitress for water. When our waitress came by we reminded her about not getting our drinks yet and she copped an attitude and was like "we were busy, yeah I asked someone else to bring the water". Ok. No need to be rude. Thankfully the food was good, so at least that was enjoyable. Our waitress never came by once to check up on us, as we watched other waitresses be more attentive at other tables. Honestly I've had better service at McDonald's. That's embarrassing for a restaurant like The Cut where food prices are not cheap. I'm sure it was just this one individual that was performing poorly, but it left us with a bad experience where we simply don't want to come back, and take our business elsewhere.

For the most part it seems to be a place for an older crowd who wanna get away from the loud sports bars like yard house. I can agree with that sentiment. It is a nice reprieve from the otherwise packed areas of Victoria gardens as it is on the outskirts. The food is delicious and it prides itself on being low in calories. For how good it tastes you would expect a higher price, but that's another reason people like coming here. You don't feel overstuffed and you don't feel like someone robbed you for your wallet. Drinks are on point! The only gripe I have about this restaurant, is the old fashioned!!! They need to get a better cocktail glass for that drink and stop serving it with a bunch of ice. Just get the sphere or cube ice. Please! The staff are always friendly and accommodating!!! From the hosts, bartenders, and waiters/waitresses, they all do a great job at making you feel welcome! Big shoutout to Jasmine, Ashley, and Ron!!! They're great people who go above and beyond to make your visit better than the last. Come try em out for yourself!

But when The State makes a mistake, that's where it falls apart. Last week, I was handed the wrong debit card. I only noticed after charges from someone else started appearing on my account. I called and spoke to Juan; no follow-up. Called again, spoke to Austin: still no resolution. It's been a week of silence. Meanwhile, I had to cancel my card, wait for a new one, and update all my accounts. This was a major inconvenience, and the restaurant has not shown any care. 1 star for food: still good. 1 star for drinks: always solid. 1 star for atmosphere and standard service. Minus 2 stars for the lack of accountability, poor follow-up, and the time they wasted. They need to improve how they handle mistakes.

It was only 10min before I was seated and the place looked pretty packed. Once seated the server came by and checked in with us and asked for drinks. They then brought bread for us. The bread was okay, didn't seem too fresh but it was nice to hold us off while we waited for our food. I ordered the outlaw ribeye and my Dad ordered a regular ribeye medium rare. The outlaw was about $40. I also ordered a side of salad and a baked potato which came with the steak. The food arrived fairly quickly amd we dug in. It was very tasty. The streak was cooked perfectly but the baked potato could have used more toppings. I ordered an extra side of sour cream. The steak was bomb. It was well seasoned and delicious. Our waitress was wonderful; friendly, efficient, and helpful. The food was originally served cold and my T-bone bone was shaped like "--" (no "t"). The mashed potatoes were okay (but cold). The rest of the tables food was hot so not the fault of the waitress. She was so great to replace it. I would have never left a bad review if the manager were not so ... ick!
