Quick little cafe with wonderful sweets and drinks. This was a work day stop that I am so glad we made. Service was kind and helpful. It was quick and clean. The baked goods were delicious . I wish I brought home for home. This is worth a stop. They offer so much more. I will go back if I am I. That area again!!

Visit: 1st Date: 9/14/25 Time: around 9am What they got right: Ambiance, service, food quality, and beverage quality. Areas for improvement: None at the moment Recommend? Yes! Hubby and I have driven by this coffehouse many times, making a note to stop and try it one of these days. The Parking Gods were kind to us on the day we visited and we got prime, free parking near the coffeehouse! As we entered the charming entrance, we were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. The music playing overhead, the cute cafe seating, and the warm service won us over immediately. The eggs with macadamia pesto, prosciutto, and butter muffin was tasty. I enjoyed my yogurt with granola and blueberry muffin. The muffins were cake like so they were light and moist. We enjoyed our cappuccinos with their medium roasted beans. Sadly, we learned they are retiring at the end of the year. We will miss this neighborhood gem!

Stopped by on a whim because I was hungry at an odd hour like 3pm and was on the area. They said they could serve breakfast and boy was it worth it. The eggs were perfectly fluffy but what did it - the homemade Mac nut pesto. I don't like pesto but this was incredible that I had to ask for more. I usually put ketchup on my eggs but I said no way. I wanted more of that homemade mac nut pesto. So flavorful and perfectly balanced. Had it with the pastrami. So good. The butter muffin was good too. It was a little more firm than soft and fluffy but enjoyable. I would order this over and over and over. Cute inside. Bathroom. Few tables. There were 2 people helping and they were both pretty friendly in their own way. Street parking only though.

Enjoyed a wonderful cup of mocha latte along with guava and chocolate cheesecakes. The cheesecakes are to die for and the mocha latte was so delicious I ordered another cup. I also ordered a takeout of guava, chocolate, and lilikoi cheesecakes for my brother and his family to enjoy. This hole in the wall cafe is so cozy and the owner/server Elliott is a gem . I highly recommend this place to anyone who just wants to sit down and enjoy their cup of joe. They do offer breakfast and lunch also but coffee and pastries are their specialty. Wonderful place. I'm in town once a month so I will visit them again.

The rumors of retirement are not factual. The truth is the Raintree is open for business and looking forward to the future and your continued business. Same great bakery items and coffee drinks along with sandwiches.

I stumbled upon this cute little café and decided to give it a try--and I'm so glad I did. It's run by an older couple who take great pride in what they do. The service was professional and warm. What really stood out to me was their house-made almond milk, crafted from organic almonds imported from Italy--it was a very unique flavor. I've never had an iced latte quite like it, and it certainly won't be my last one. I arrived just after they opened and was surprised by the steady stream of regulars coming in to dine. It's a peaceful, quiet spot--perfect for studying or enjoying some alone time.

I always enjoy the service. The gentlemen are extremely courteous and pleasant. And the food is always excellent. I went today for the hot chocolate, and I was not disappointed.

What a great little spot! I wish I had time to eat, but I just needed coffee. Cheerful greeting when I walked in. The gentleman behind the counter said I looked like a hazelnut, which is a great flavor...but then he suggested pistachio which I had never had as a latte. The baked goods looked great! But I didn't have time and will have to wait until next time. Definitely worth stopping by! I didn't have my glasses, and I think they have some signature coffees which will have to wait too! Mahalo!

Excellent matcha!!!! Not sweet and the owner makes his own delicious Almond Milk. This is one of my favorite spots for Matcha and a dessert on Oahu cute little cafe in the middle of town to stop in and feel relaxed. Also very friendly owners and staff.

We took a bit of an "urban hike" through Honolulu and decided we wanted a mid day sweet treat, and dipped into this little shop. We were so pleased with our choice! We each got an echt cream, one raspberry one peach and they were delicious, served in beautiful glassware. The cafe is adorable and our server (who I assume is the owner?) was so informative and attentive. We watched many regulars come and go and all the food looked and smelled amazing. The love and attention that go into this place really shows.

Heartwarming Coffeehouse that serves up so much love! You start with the famous velvet ropes many to stop by for a sip and sweets to go but I really wanted to chill and enjoy some me time. Originally came here for their matcha latte with their home made almond milk but after browsing their menu noticed "Echt Cream" basically is a base of milk with seltzer, flavor and topped with whipped cream (lactose friends shudder) with over a dozen flavors I narrowed it down to Raspberry and everything is organic here and this drink was a heavenly light and refreshing. Gosh it's difficult to describe as it's not sweet or heavy just the right amount of raspberry and it was a lovely drink to start my day. Hungry as well I ordered the "Prosciutto di Parma" with 2 organic range free scrambled eggs topped with organic parmesan cheese & Macadamia nut pesto with a Butter Muffin. This seemingly minimalistic plate had all the right touch and found myself taking small bites slower and taking in every bite that's so rich in flavor feeling like I'm at a European cafe. Elliott and Jerry are just so amazingly welcoming and warm what a great place to escape and be taken care of and if you pay in cash there's a 5% discount, lovely meal with leaving your wallet healthier too is priceless! Thank you!

It was raining sheets, and Jamie W. and I were traipsing over mammoth puddles after soaking in (literally) the culture at the Honolulu Museum of Art (review: https://bit.ly/4279yNM). When we turned the corner on Pensacola, we couldn't help notice this cozy cafe, especially the display case featuring all their baked goodies. When I read reviews of the place at our table, I found out what their house specialty was. It turned out to be their individual $6.25 cheesecakes, in particular, the lilikoi (passionfruit). They also offered them in chocolate and guava, so we split the difference: one Lilikoi (photo: https://bit.ly/3LfXHXO) and one Guava (photo: https://bit.ly/3T84nZX). Quite yummy and not overly creamy with a more crumbly crust than I expected. Our verdict was that we preferred the guava over the lilikoi but by the slightest of margins. To accompany our sweets, Jamie and I went in opposite directions temperature-wise. He ordered the refreshing $3.50 Moroccan Mint Iced Tea (photo: https://bit.ly/42i6FtZ), while I went the more predictable route on a stormy day, the reassuring $3.25 Rooibos Chai Hot Tea (photo: https://bit.ly/3J1II12). The cafe also offered hot breakfasts, so you can satisfy more than your sweet tooth in this vintage coffeehouse. FOOD - 4 stars...cheesecakes with a tropical taste and in the right portion AMBIANCE - 4 stars...charming, felt like a locals hangout SERVICE - 4.5 stars...the veteran staff knows their stuff TOTAL - 4 stars...the right sweet bite at the right time RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Took a little walk to Raintree Bakery, a shop I've seen 3 years living in town and only now taking the time to enjoy this gem. The Prosciutto di Parma was Devine. The eggs were so fluffy and topped with pesto and parm shreds. The Prosciutto was slightly warm and not too salty (a problem I have when getting certain store bought) cappuccino with various flavor options: delicious. I think the thing that really makes this place are the workers. They truly give five star worthy service. Right when you walk in, they greet you and are quick to serve. The personality of the servers are amazingly friendly like Mr Rogers kinda friendly. Their uniforms are the cutest. And the cafe music ranges from French classics to jazz and some soft rock. This is a place I'm putting on my weekly rounds for breakfast/ lunch. Hopefully this can become a place where the staff will become family because on the first visit I felt very welcomed.

I don't think so. My guess is that their muffins, cookies, lilikoi bars, and cheesecakes contain eggs and/or dairy.

Hubs had to fast from 6 am for his 2 pm surgery so I thought he would probably be starving and would enjoy a delectable salt and butter roll from here. At $4.50 a piece I consider this a luxury for us. I found a close stall in the parking structure. A very cheerful polite male employee took my order. I had seen two occupied tables as I walked into the shop. Both had matcha drinks. Why not? I asked the young man assisting me, what's the best matcha drink? He said his favorite was banana matcha with extra banana foam. Okay I'll try it. He repeated it to the cashier. So popular there was a wait for beverages to be prepared. Soon enough mine was ready. I think Doc would enjoy this drink. This shop is a working bakery. Many yummy pastries displayed. Menu is posted high up above to choose from. Rather tiny shop with room for customers to stand in line to order and wait for drinks. Clean, busy with a few tables and chairs outside but pretty much in direct sun.

We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. Truth be told, it stole the show from the malasadas. FOOD - 4 stars... the malasadas were good, but that ube dessert was next level AMBIANCE - 4 stars...really a takeout operation with a lot of temptations SERVICE - 4 stars...very calm and orderly TOTAL - 4 stars...yet another spot for sweet Hawaiian decadence RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Table for 11 the morning after the 4th of July without a reservation? What, like it's hard? You…read morecan't make reservations here, but they do have an iPad that you can be added to their waitlist. Even though it was rather busy, we were seated within 10-ish minutes and got their biggest table outside. And right next to their butter roll grill- score! We had 11 people including kids and teenagers and there's really something on the menu for everyone here. Even my picky nephew was able to find a milkshake and add an egg to their ham and cheese croissant. I got their mahi mahi breakfast and upgraded to get their fried rice. Mahi mahi might not sound like a breakfast food for most, but it's one of my favs that I used to get from their OG location and I hadn't had it in so long. And that's the best thing about Liliha Bakery, there are so many local favorites that you can get any time of day. My mom got the oxtail soup (I got a bit of plate fomo from that). The rest of the table got breakfast classics: pancakes w/ a side of spam, 2 eggs + bacon, steak and eggs etc. The butter rolls here are so good and love that they come complimentary but I do believe there's a charge after the first basket.

We visited Liliha Bakery at the International Market Place in Waikīkī yesterday. The food was…read moreabsolutely delicious and definitely lived up to the hype! Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our waitress seemed to be having a rough day. The table behind us had to send food back three different times because they kept receiving the wrong orders, and there was about a 30-minute period where our server completely disappeared. We had to ask another staff member for our check and to-go boxes. She also never came back to check on our table or refill our water. Everyone has off days, so we're hoping that's all it was. We'd definitely come back because the food was so good--we just hope to have a different server next time.

Green Tea Puff ($3.75) and Coco Puff ($3.69) - I didn't like these. The chantilly topping was way too sweet. Pudding filling tastes cheap.
