I hate giving bad reviews but this location is really hit or miss. Sometimes it's the best meal I've had from Canes ever, and sometimes I have a bad experience. But my most recent meal, the chicken was undercooked, and partially raw. Everything else was cooked fine (the bread was fantastic) but the chicken really alarmed me. In terms of service, I had a mixed experience too. The first window, the girl was super nice but the second window, the girl handed my drink/meal with no words, and was rolling her eyes a bit? It didn't feel like a great way to leave. And then I realized I had raw chicken tenders andddd here I am. Food was great. My daughter had a gift card for a kids meal that something was wrong w/ the strip. I told the manager it was in a raffle basket from a country club. He just handed it back and said "nothing is on it" fine no problem & paid for it in the meantime he wasn't happy with something from the kitchen & threw a box at them, wow! For $7 I would expect a kids meal to get a drink, guess not. First time in the store, nice atmosphere. read more

Got a 3 finger combo. Not sure why the portion sizes changed so much. Used to get a lot more fries and who decided to give people baby chicken fingers. Barely filled me. Is this how they get you to trade up? read more

It's only a matter of time before any restaurant turns to shit in Cincinnati and sadly Cane's is not an exception. Every time I go here, I order the same meal and am charged a different price. Asking for something as complicated as "no coleslaw, extra sauce" leads to no coleslaw, no extra sauce, a missing chicken finger and, somehow, very few and very burnt fries. This time around, our order was sent back by the person at the front desk three times, and it was STILL wrong. I was asked if I wanted a drink when the meal comes with a drink, and then charged extra for said drink despite only being given one. You only have, what, four menu items total, in different combinations? Seriously, how hard is it? read more

I have had multiple bad experiences at the Cane's location. Rude staff and food takes forever. Every time we come we wait 20 minutes for a small order to come out. It's usually always wrong as well. The employees here do not care. read more

My order experience is from the store at race And Glenway. Ordered two 4 piece box dinners with a sprite and an iced tea and two extra pieces of Texas toast. I asked for ketchup at the pick up window. When I got home I discovered we only had one ketchup for two meals, but I guess it didn't matter because we had such a ridiculous small amount of french fries with the meal. We also had to throw out the sprite drink because it tasted so bad. I don't see how you are going to stay in business if you allow this to go on. read more

First off, the food is great. I love the chicken and sauce,fries and toast but my review is based on the SERVICE. I hope somebody of importance in this company is reading this because the truth hurts but the truth will set you free. I realize 8pm on a pre holiday Sunday that it might be busy. I went and the drive through customers had completely surrounded the restaurant. Looking inside I can see two guys standing in the line, i pulled around and parked the car and went inside. Your staff at this location does not represent the hard working west siders and their working values. Its slow going, the two guys in front of me whom I saw from the outside before I parked my car are still standing there waiting for someone to appear at the counter. I have never been to a fast food restaurant where your cashier is wearing a hoodie with earphones dangling out of the hoodie but here he comes and takes the order. After their order he has to change the register tape so off he goes to find a new roll. A few minutes later he comes back and gets the tape installed and takes the order of a Caniac Combo, please exchange an extra toast for the cole slaw. Three of us standing there and the wait begins. After 5 min or so the two guys finally sit down in a booth, I got mine to go and so I sit on the bench in front of the counter and keep waiting. After an additional few minutes another worker wearing a cap pulled down low but with earbud headphones actually in comes out and sets 2 orders out and mumbles something and walks away. I wait a minute or so and nobody is claiming the food. I get up and look over to the two guys in the booth and said I think your food is ready, two orders were just placed on the counter. They got up and got theirs and went back to their booth. A couple minutes later the same guy comes out and I could hear him barely audiblize my name. I picked up the order and left the restaurant and drove home, I noticed the white pickup that would have been in front of me had I waited in the long line was just pulling out of the parking lot. It took the same amount of time to serve at least a dozen cars as it did to 3 walk in customers. I would think you could sling that chicken like crazy in side, not having to wait for cars... I got home and popped the container open and find double cole slaw and no toast.... finicky eater kid doesnt eat slaw but loves the toast. Sorry kid, not this time, I guess the employees headphones were on too loud.... You are on Glenway Ave, restaurants can and do fail on that busy street and if your level of service remains this poor you arent going to last. read more
