I'm definitely a fan of Raising Cane's... with a few stipulations. First off, you can't judge this place as a restaurant. You have to judge it as a fast food joint. They're not going to super-flavor their chicken, and they're not going to give you the best service known to man. It's fast food. Stop expecting so much! Now, with that said, these chicken fingers are awesome. They're always served hot, and the "sauce" is pretty good. The toast is great, and the fries are crinkle fries, so there's that. And don't complain about health. You're at a fried food place. Duh. Not healthy. The first time here was great. The environment is awesome, the service was decent, and the food was all right. Here's the chicken fast food - Breakfast = Chick-Fil-A; lunch/dinner = Raising Cane's. This particular location isn't great (yet). Now, the area around it is being built up, so it will soon be way more accessible. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the mood for quick and easy! read more

Sunday... Ordered the box meal to go. It wasn't that busy, but took a long time sitting... waiting.. I got home and pictured is a $9 meal. It usually comes with 4 strips... only maybe 2 1/2 skinny runts strips served with pretty cold and soggy fries! It was NASTY! Fu@k this place. It's pretty sad... I wasted $10. Keep in mind they serve 1 thing; chicken strips, but if that is what you want, these are the best! Very good Cane's sauce and their homemade lemon aid and Texas toast are great! I wouldn't recommend it very often for the obvious health reasons, but anything in moderation. :-) I have been to 3 different Raising Cane's locations and they have all been very consistent. read more

Raising canes .... Pretty tasty but consistently never know if I'm going to get super greasy or that just right that I would like my chicken. As with most canes service & timely is not in their nature for dine in orders. As I think they get busy filling drive thru, usually forgetting dine in until your standing up there waiting 5-10 mins later and they ask you what you need. Never really rude by any means but forgetful or priority is elsewhere. Dining area looked well maintained but floor had a few sticky spots from either barely Cleaned up soda or cleaning water that had dried up funky. Will we be back? I'm sure we will when it's of convenance ... But of the land of a million chicken places and other food places near here we don't have right by my house I don't know how often we would go out of our way for this location. read more

I have never been inside, I always use the drive-through. I'd give 5 stars but I can't because they can't seem to get UNsweet tea right. Box Combo is priced right, doesn't make me too full and is yummy. I like the coating they use on their chicken fingers and their fries are pretty good too. Just make sure you don't drive too far as the humidity in your box will make your fries go limp if you don't eat them quick enough. read more

Whenever I'm craving chicken fingers, this is my go to place. It's reasonably priced, fast, and delicious. Need I say more? Yes, I do. The sauce is what separates it from any other place that serves chicken tenders. It taste kind of like a thousand island sauce, but with a twist. I don't know, I can't really explain it. My wife and I always share the "Caniac". It comes with 6 tenders, fries, coleslaw, texas toast, two sauces, and a large drink for about $10. The chicken tenders were so juicy and had a nice crunch. Very well seasoned as well. The fries are OK, nothing special, just regular ol' crinkle fries. The texas toast and coleslaw were mediocre. The sweet tea here is pretty damn good though! I've only been to this location since moving to the DFW area and haven't had any issues. The staff was friendly and the food came out hot and fresh. No complaints here. read more

I stopped in to place a large order for my group, but other than bulk chicken strips Caine's does not offer large family sized servings of their sides, which in itself was rather limited. I ended up leaving and went to Chicken Express which has a large selection of sides and offers large family sized containers. read more

W T F? That just about sums it up. So I'm driving to Sunflower to grab a few groceries and notice this big sign "The wait is over" blah blah blah. Ok Raising Cane. Chicken fingers. Fine. I rarely ever eat fast food but hey, it must be good right? I pull up to the menu - there's like 5 different food choices. Chicken fingers, fries, toast and cole slaw. That's it? Heart attack be damned, I'm feeling adventurous. "You ready for some chiiiiiicken???" says the guy. Um. Sure pal. I get the box combo - 4 tenders (fingers?) with slaw, fries and toast with a root beer. $7.38...... Whatever. - First bite, no sauce, just chicken. Meh. Its pretty much flavorless. - Another bite - ok the quality of the tender/finger is pretty good. I can taste that it's actually chicken and not synthetic chemicals. But there's very little flavor. - How about this special sauce? Meh. It's like mayo+ketchup+something else. It doesn't help much. - The toast? Yummy - if you like bleached white flour and worthless carbs in your body. - The fries - OK - nothing fancy. All and all - WTF? How is this place expanding? You'll go in thinking this must be good considering the line of cars but they are probably just like me. Curious of this new establishment, never to return again. I love Raising Cane's but this location leaves a LOT to be desired! I have had issues in the past so I have not been back to this location in more than a month and when I do, the experience is horrible! I go through the drive thru at 8pm and it takes over 15 minutes to get my food. There is NO ONE there and it should only take 6-8 minutes to fry fresh chicken. When I asked why it took so long, the guy at the window stated "it is taking a little longer back there" so I drove off. I hate to be overly critical but you should always provide outstanding customer service no matter the time or circumstances. This location is dropping the ball when they have STIFF competition with Rosa's and Chick-fil-A! My thoughts...thanks! read more

We stopped in here when it first opened about two years ago and were disappointed. On a whim, I stopped there for lunch today to see if it had improved. I was told that one cannot buy their chicken finger sandwich separately, it only comes with fries and a beverage. The counter clerk was lost trying to make change and needed my help with her basic math. She asked for my name, Pete, which was then shouted across the dining area when the order was ready. Interestingly she had spelled my name on the receipt, "Peet". The chicken strips were dry, with a heavy batter, the roll was a bit stale, the fries greasy and cold. the tables es were dirty as was the floor. I really wanted to like this place a lot more than I did. I'll go back again and give it another try, but for now I'm sticking with 3 stars. The place just opened, i think, about a week ago. We had a very creepy Cici's Pizza/Disney World kind of moment when we first walked in. Everyone was over enthusiastically happy to the point where it made the fiance and I uncomfortable. I guess people in this area generally enjoy being happily hollered HELLO at by every single employee when they first enter an establishment, but we are not the usual kind of people who live here... So we don't and it was awkward. They serve chicken fingers and chicken fingers only here. My fiance was under the impression that they didn't have any other sauces then their own, so my lazy bum didn't even bother getting up to ask. I'm more of a sweet-sauce with my chicken sort of girl than a savory sauce like they have. I prefer Chick-fil-a's Polynesian sauce, or honey mustard or even just honey. I'll definitely ask for sauce that I prefer next time. Hopefully they will have some! The chicken and sauce were just okay. If chicken strips are all you do, they better be damn good, and these were just okay. The sauce reminded me of the Pollo Campero who used to be on the other side of the highway's (rip, sweet dear) campero sauce but with every single kitchen spice thrown in. The fries were mediocre. The bread that comes with the box was delicious. I'd probably go back just for the bread and the coleslaw. But I really hope next time the teenagers who work there aren't forced to be so overly nice, it's seriously creepy. ETA: I found out that several locations make fresh honey mustard. This was another tough one. Hard toss up between two and three stars. This was my first visit to the Raising Cane chain and I was looking forward to another lunch option so close to work. This location just opened in the last week. Which may explain why I felt like I was walking into a pep rally when I got there. It was loud and the employees were very enthusiastic. Did I mention it was LOUD? The gift case is right before the order counter if you want a snow globe or a bottle opener before you oder your chicken fingers. And that's all they serve. With Cane Sauce and fries. And cole slaw. I might go back for the cole slaw,it was really good. My fries were kind of cold and limp. How were the chicken fingers, you ask? Not bad, but not great. If you are only going to offer one product, it should be great and this chicken wasn't as good as several fast food places located very close to the location, much less several casual dining spots. Another I didn't like, did I mention it was LOUD? THey were just trying to hard. And the cement floor makes it so loud. Not sure why this location is only showing 2.5 stars. Obviously based on heir menu, this is not a health food restaurant. If you don't like chicken tenders and fries, don't come here to begin with. If you do, it's hard to beat Canes. Not comparable to chick-fil-a IMO, they're just different. Canes is much more southern. I don't know how else to explain it. It's really delicious though. Nothing soggy about my meal as I've seen written in other reviews. I also would not characterize the chicken as "flavorless". It's just plain fried chicken tenders, that's like its own flavor in and of itself. Maybe the people leaving bad reviews aren't southern/Texas natives. I've been to a dozen Cane's restaurant across 3 states and I'd have to say this location has been the best experience so far. I arrived about 30 minutes after the place opened so everything was super fresh. Tenders, fries, toast, all deliciously cooked. The service was top notch- had a good experience at the counter and through the meal. The interior is awesome, covered in nostalgic goodness- there were posters of The Goonies, Pulp Fiction, Breakfast Club... it was cool to walk around for a few minutes and take in the decor. The place was empty- I chose to sit near the Pulp Fiction area. Cane's is a simple-menu restaurant. There's chicken, and a few sides to select from. That's it. The fresh made lemonade is worth the $0.30 upgrade, trust me. Oh, and while you're upgrading might as well order a second cup of Cane's sauce. Not sure what it is- mayo, pepper, paprika, uhhh I don't know. What I do know is how delicious it is. This place rests among a bevy of other popular fast food joints, but make sure not to skip out. read more

Canes is literally one of my favorite fast food places. It's not even really the chicken that I love the most, it's the sauce! It's like Crack... Literally... The sauce is Crack. I love it. I dip everything in it, my fries, the bread, the chicken... I cannot get enough of this place. The staff are extremely friendly and even tell me they love working there because it's just a great environment. And when you walk in you really get that feeling. Chicken is flavorless for the most part, the fries the first time weren't good and the second time they were just okay. If you buy the tenders separately and not with a meal they charge you for sauce. 30 cents for a little cup. That is a big reason why I don't like this place. I think that's tacky. Practically every other fast food restaurant will give you atleast SOME sauces. And a little cup was not nearly enough for 3 tenders.. I just think it's over priced chicken and I don't expect them to be around for long. They almost never have anyone in the lot as far as I can tell. read more

Great concept for fresh breaded, fried chicken fingers. I am not a big fan of fast food but my daughter loves Chick- Fil-A and we were close to this location on a late evening. Sat inside. Clean place and friendly help. Really good lemonade made fresh daily. The chicken was slightly more greasy than I would have preferred, but tasted very good. Cole slaw was crunchy and fresh as well. I went through the drive through and sat in line for 30 minutes. On the website it says it closes at 10:00 and I got there at 9:45. No one answered so I pull up to the first window. It was 10:15 when I pulled up and they shook their heads at me telling me they're closed. I understand that because of the weather hours changed to 9:00. The problem was that they had a tiny sign saying they closed at 9 and no one in the drive through could see that. When I tried to motion to them that I understood that they were closed but to come to the window to tell them there was about 7 cars behind me they shook their heads, laughed at me, and walked away. Very unprofessional and rude. I'm just trying to help them out so they don't have more angry people coming to the window. I tried pulling up to the next window to let someone else know, she was about to open the window to talk to me and the others told her not to Im guessing because she stopped and didn't open the window. I tried telling her through the window because she couldn't open the window. Everyone in there was a high schooler and no manger in sight. I know they have cones for the drive through so you'd think there would be cones blocking off the drive through to let people know they are closed. This experience wasn't about not getting food because it took me 5 minutes in a different drive through to get food, it was about the unprofessional and rude workers and lack of management that was frustrating. Omg, do NOT let this guy work the counter, ever, again! We walked in, no friendly greeting, like draw straws to see who is not taking the order, seriously!! Place the order, fairly simple, 4 piece, no Cole slaw, extra cane sauce on one and the other with unsweet ice tea with a splash of lemonade, a splash, not an Arnold Palmer!
