The store is perfect. The remodel had made a huge difference! I've been shopping at this store since it first opened, ( I was invited to the pre public opening ) and I've seen the changes. This change is awesome. Aside from the much need interior face lift, there is amazing food!! From self serve salad bar, to inviting hot food bar, deli department, not to mention a pretty tasty bakery selection. What's really awesome is the pre made sandwich, and assorted deli foods right across from the bakery. Yes, the deli counter is still there, and you can still order a sandwich made to your liking! The pre made section is filled with a variety of grab n go foods. Plus, the store added drinks! Yes!! You no longer have to walk to the other side of the store when grabbing a quick bite. Score! The natural food section is enhanced, as well as, organized near the pharmacy. This layout is so much better. The produce section has amazing cooling sections, so you know that you're buying great food. The variety truly doesn't compare to anywhere else. Yes, you'll pay for the upgrade. The Raleys chain is known for quality. This is the best store in the north Natomas area! Stop by, and check it out. If you have little ones with you, the bakery is happy to offer a free cookie to them ( with parental approval ) The icing on the proverbial cake... This review is strictly for the customer service desk (even though I'm pretty sure that everything else at this store is equally amazing). As I've mentioned in a previous review, my fiancé runs a small business that requires us to ship large amounts of orders via USPS (and occasionally UPS). In the past I've received mixed reviews from USPS clerks and grocery store clerks, who have had the pleasure of adding postage to our merchandise. However, I have not experienced customer service outside of AMAZING from any of the employees that work the Customer Service desk at this location. Recently I brought in 16 manila envelopes that needed to be marked with postage. Granted I generally always bring our packages already marked with the address and packaged, it's still a very tedious (and time consuming) job to manually enter each address for each package. On some occasions, I require the use of a fixed rate priority shipping box. On these occasions, the clerk working has gone out of their way to assist me with placing my merchandise in the box and taping it shut. I know you're probably thinking, "what's the big deal, that's their job." However, I personally have never received this level of customer service from an actual USPS office. If you don't believe me, do a comparison with the Raley's Customer Service desk vs. the USPS Office located on Gateway Park Blvd. I would like to shout out Virginia, Emily, Daleen, Penny, Lacy, and Ashley (please forgive me if I left out any customer service clerks that may have assisted me). First time ordering online and parking in their e-cart parking to get my groceries. Simple process, all you have to do is place your order online (you can pay online with card or when you arrive to pick up you can pay with card, cash or gift card) choose the day and time you would like to pick up groceries, go to Raley's, park in any "e-cart" parking, text the number that is listed in the parking spot and they will be right out with your groceries. Took 8 minutes for them to go process payment inside with my card & come back with my groceries in my trunk I definitely thought it would have taken longer but was pleasantly surprised was fairly quick. One thing you can do is double check your satisfied with your groceries before you leave as I received a leaking milk which I noticed of course upon arriving home so I did go back & got a replacement without a problem and the team apologized & gave me a small little gift which brightened up my day, I truly appreciated that outstanding customer service. I decided to write a review today, to thank Raley's for their exceptional service to the Natomas community. This store is always well stocked, clean, and the staff are so nice and helpful. Yesterday for the first time I ordered groceries online, and picked them up in the e-cart area. It was a fantastic experience. I got a text message a few hours before my scheduled pick up time, they told me some of the items I ordered were out of stock, and suggested alternatives. Once I got to the store, I texted them back to let them know I was there. And out came the groceries, placed right into my car. I didn't have to lift a finger. I highly recommend this Raley's. Try to get some fried chicken again at 530 today, all food trays were empty? Why stay open if no food is available? Rude and unwilling to help person (John) tried every excuses he can come up with to discourage me for getting any food, finally offered to make it if I'm willing to wait 30 minutes? Where and how do your company find these unprofessional and lazy people to work in the hot wok? Last 3 times I visited this location and Bel Air on Arena I was unable to get any fried chicken? Worker had pretty much unwilling to make more? Why don't you just close shop when you're out of food? Instead of having a regular closing time? Prices are a little pricier than the Bel Air down the street. Store is clean. Layout is ok. No one was at the registers to went to the self check out. For the lady who was helping me with a malfunctioning checkout box, 8:30 is too early for anyone to deal with your rudeness. I absolutely dislike shopping for groceries but if I absolutely have to, I shop at Raley's only because it is the closest to my house It's not the best. They need to do a better job of removing expired food items and old fruit and vegetables. I recently purchased watermelons that were significantly higher in price and they were both very old and spoiled. I brought them back to get a refund but the manager didn't seem too concerned or apologetic in the least bit. She probably should have instructed the staff to remove the remaining watermelons so that others wouldn't purchase them. read more

This store used to be great. Since before the pandemic the service has gone downhill. There is only one way in and one way out because people steal. The lines are insanely long at all times of the day. The customer service quality has nose dived. No one bags groceries for thr checkers, no one offers to help you to your car anymore. These are some of the things that made Raleys special. The checkers have reduced hours and are not happy. Your customers are not happy. Time to pivot- be innovative, address the nonsense. Worse than ever. Added to their offenses are now aggressive parking lot "charity fund-raisers" of the sort you encounter crossing into TJ from San Yisdro and a newly boarded up entrance. Store still miserably stocked. Staff and "manager" totally indifferent to my concerns about being all but assaulted out front. Excuse was "we don't control the property." When I asked who did and for their contact information I was told point-blank that they had no idea who their landlord was and who I should call. I've never dealt with such poor customer service until I stumbled upon an associate over here by the name of "Lisa". Not once, but twice she came off with a very snotty attitude. The first time I came up to her and said "excuse me"..she answers with "what" and doesn't even make eye contact. I was confused and a little shocked but didn't pay that much mind to it. I tell her that I wanted to rent a carpet cleaner, she then without notice turns around and walks to a counter, grabs a binder and literally slams it on the table and just starts filling it out aggressively. In the end she tells me to swipe my card and when the receipt prints out, she says "here" and that's it, no thank you or have a good day, nothing. So about a month later I come back to rent the machine again and to my surprise I see her again. I literally avoid this associate and try to see if someone else can help me, but unfortunately they appoint me to her. So whatever I'm like I'll give her the benefit of the doubt this time and when I walk up to her and tell her that I want to rent out the machine, she literally take a big deep breath and gives a big obvious look of annoyance. You can tell she tried to make it obvious as well. She then tells me "sorry I can't do that right now" and that was it. No explanation or nothing. She just ignores me after that. I walked out empty handed and had to go to Home Depot to rent one. The customer service over there was great, and I will be going there from now on. I have never in my entire life seen someone with such poor, distressing, disappointing, sorry customer service. "Lisa" for sure takes the cake with this one. The scary part is that she's a manager. She is obviously a terrible role model to her colleagues, and clearly there's been a lot of complaints with this particular store and its's employees under Lisa's management. Hopefully Raley's reconsiders her position. read more

I'm giving you guys a straight up 5 ! But please train your clerks to reinforce the 15 or less aisle. When there are people in line with 25 plus items ( I'm not exaggerating) at peak shopping time. The aisle should honor customers with 15 or less.? Your customers count on this and truly expect this courtesy to be upheld. Clerks whom check at this aisle need to feel comfortable and confident to kindly let customers know that the aisle is 15 or less. The Chinese food section is the best! The lady who works there is so wonderful! A couple of times they didn't have chow mein, close to closing hours...she had the chef make me a quart and said "come back in 15 mins"...she literally found me across the store, and brought it to me! Now she knows, when i come in...exactly what i order. If it is not fresh, she will have them make me fresh chow mein. That is definitely worth employee recognition for going above and beyond! The food is very good here. Sometimes a bit too much oil, but very tasty. I would rather order here, than some of the local chinese restaurants. This is my regular grocery shopping store. General comments: I appreciate the hard work everyone does to keep this place up and running during this awful pandemic. These employees deserve combat pay! My only complaint is that recently I noticed a mask-less staff member pushing a cart from outside to inside the store. I'm sure he probably thinks he is not at high risk of infection because he works primarily outside. He is NOT protected, esp. given the huge numbers of people (many not masked) walking by him every day. And he could also easily spread the virus to many others. I've also made a habit of asking the checkout clerks who help me take groceries out, load my car whether they have gotten vaccines yet. I am shocked by the numbers who say "No," esp. when vaccines are now so widely available to people age 12 and over. I really wish Raley's CEOs would get tough on these mask-less Covidiots (staff AND customers) and start to keep them OUT of the store. No exceptions. I know we are all sick of the pandemic and masks, but with half the nation STILL refusing to act responsibly to protect others, if not themselves, Raley's needs to step up to the plate and get tougher to keep staff and customers safe. Esp. since past carelessness has led to the now massive spread of Delta Covid here in CA, an even more deadly, transmissible form. Simple store policy change: NO MASK, NO JOB OR ENTRY OF CUSTOMERS. PERIOD. NO EXCEPTIONS. They should have done that last spring but they MUST do that now! Time to crack down, Raley's. This is a great store in the Natomas area! They have so much to offer & its a one stop shop. Raley's on DelPaso Blvd is my second go to market in the North Natomas neighborhood of Sacramento. The staff in the various departments are quite helpful, caring, and are eager to assist. Besides fresh food I have utilized their mailing services. Downside, Lately there has been a number of children running through the store without parents and no regard for other customers. I'm bumping up my rating for this place. The gal working the floral and balloon section on the late morning of 5/25/16 was great. She delivered great customer service and worked pretty quickly to make the special graduation bouquets without compromising on the direct customer service. I even asked her opinion on the colors for my bouquet. She gave great suggestions. I was outta of there pretty quickly with a great looking balloon bouquet. Wonderful 5 star experience with her. I was kinda disappointed that the other staff didn't provide assistance in the floral department. There were 3 boxes of flowers and 2 boxes of leis that were there prior to my arrival. But if she is making walk up special arrangements; why didn't anyone come to help her take the flowers out and place them in the cooler? For a Raley's this place is pretty good. While I prefer to shop at more reasonably priced stores, some things I just can't get anywhere else. The major plus for Raley's in general, but specifically this location, is the large variety of vegan food. They have everything from meat substitutes to vegan ice cream and chocolate. They have also recently expanded their raw vegan options, which is both refreshing and convenient. The lines are usually pretty long, so plan on waiting for a little while to check out, however the cashiers are all very friendly and pleasant. This is pretty much my "go to" store for anything vegan that I need in a pinch. Keep it up Raley's. Oh, and can you stock some vegan worcestershire sauce? I can't find that stuff anywhere since Sunflower closed down! read more

Needed some specialty items and was in a part of town I was not familiar, and trusted my Yelp app to guide the way! Found this Raley's in a bedroom community part of town in a strip mall type lot. This location is smaller than the otherwise regular sized Raley's throughout Sacramento county, but had a little bit of "everything" or in other words, I could certainly shop here for most if not all of my needs. Foot traffic was light, it was fairly close to closing time and staff present throughout the store (a big plus for me). I had a couple questions with it being my first visit to this Raley's location, and the staff very extremely friendly to the point of offering to take me to the location. I said just point the way I'll take it from here, but very gracious gesture for a grocery store. I got my items (plus some...because like who follows the grocery list to a T!), swift check out, and smiles from each staff person I encountered. Will definitely shop here again if I am nearby and need some ingredients I can't find elsewhere. read more

In store experience is great. But online ordering customer service experience is pretty slow and not very friendly, especially when there's account charge issues. We had a mysterious double charge appear from ordering online. It took 5 calls over 2 weeks before someone was able to address the credit card issue. The first 4 customer service associates were no help, couldn't even investigate the erroneous charge properly and told us to just 'wait, it's probably just taking the holding charge longer to cancel'. Finally, on the 5th call Jason was able to help us settle the mysterious charge. Thank goodness for Jason. So our issue was eventually sorted, just took a lot of chasing up and frustrating delays. read more

The applause is because you remain professional and more importantly, exhibiting NORMAL BEHAVIOR. Raleys is doing a great job taking delivery to customers. Hiring additional employees to handle E-cart services. I am a senior, so I appreciate that they are trying their best to get orders done.
