TONKOTSU RAMEN (spicy) & BLACK GARLIC RAMEN (spicy).

The ramen is delicious! Perfect amount of noodles and toppings. The staff is super friendly and nice. She was patient with my fiance when it came to him ordering (his first time trying ramen). Waited less than 10 minutes for our order to arrive. The gyozas were also yummy.

I was craving ramen and wanted to check out a different ramen spot that wasn't my usual go to's. I decided to try Ramen 101 as I heard mixed experiences from friends both good and bad. I walk in a the cashier greeted me and asked if I was ordering to go or dining in? I was dining in and she handed me a menu to look over. I ordered the Tonkonsu ramen and a whole grilled squid. I paid and she said I can sit anywhere I'd like. It was different as I usually paying at other ramen places after eating lol. I get my squid it was okay. I've had better other places, but it wasn't the worst. My ramen on the other hand for the price they were definitely stingy with the noodles and actually while I was there a customer complained about the lack of noodles he paid and they remade his food no questions asked, I should have said something as well , but didn't. The ramen broth was good, the pork meat wasn't very flavorful the egg was cooked more than I liked as well. I just cannot get past how stingy they are. I probably won't be back. There are so many fantastic ramen restaurants in Sac that is place is completely forgettable. The inside is nothing special there is plenty of seating and a tv for your enjoyment.

Excellent experience. Mu first time at this location and possibly the chain. Very nice interior that makes one ready for the meal. Love that they had a delicious chicken ramen. Not everywhere does or it's chicken in a pork ready bowl. The edamame was hair and quick to arrive. Which there was a garlic option but very happy with what was provided. The patio seating is also very nice. A lot of shame as it is on the west side of this corner building so gets the late afternoon-evening sun. The lush vines keep the sun out. Nice patio lightning above make it a lively evening meal. Parking lot is okay for size. At the corner of two main streets, entering this Town & Country shopping area is not difficult.

Side of 2 scoops of tuna mac salad (May 2025)

Located near Trader Joe's, this Ramen 101 is a good takeout or dine-in option for ramen or Hawaiian plate lunches and appetizers. Ordering off the overhead signs is easy as you enter, and if you're dining in, they will bring your food out to your table. The indoor dining area had lacquered wooden tables with 3 TVs showing different shows, and there is a nice outdoor patio too. Our kaki fry (fried oysters) was excellent with a crunchy batter encasing tender oysters and accompanied by a slightly spicy mayo dipping sauce. The pork belly (labeled as char siu) bowl was pretty good, especially when adding a side of two scoops of the with Mac tuna salad. The chicken-BBQ beef plate included tender marinated chicken, along with sliced beef that came out a little dry but with good Hawaiian style flavor. The rice portions were on the smaller side and a bit gummy. The Mac tuna salad was excellent. Didn't get to try the ramen but would definitely be happy to come back to try it along with other menu options.

    Black garlic ramen (add mushrooms)

A fast casual restaurant with a nice combination of Ramen, Asian dishes, and Hawaiian food. I had the black garlic Ramen and added mushrooms - it had depth of flavor and was delicious. And the portion was quite hearty. I also had the fried squid legs which were crunchy and delicious. A few were a bit undercooked, but I can overlook that given the fact that it was toward the end of the shift on a Sunday night. Recommend this place.

Visiting from out of town and this restaurant was near my job. Excellent selection of ramen and appetizers. I ordered chicken ramen with medium spicy broth. Excellent temperature of the broth and it was not spicy at all. Customer service was excellent. Restaurant clean. Located in Town and Country Village shopping village.

The ambience always is very nice. I love coming here. You always get greeted as soon as you come in so the staff is very nice. Definitely love the service. It's a nice quiet location and this is hands-down. The best Ramen I have had I always get the Tonkutsu ramen with medium spice, spam Subi is delicious and the chicken karaage he's always nice and crunchy and they gave you plenty as well. I definitely recommend this place.

The only downside was that the staff clearly wasn't prepared for the huge crowd. Food and drinks took quite a while to arrive, but considering how busy they were, it was understandable. What really stood out was the customer service. Even though they were overwhelmed, the servers stayed positive, communicated well, and worked hard to take care of everyone. The customers were also patient and understanding, which made for a great overall experience. The food is typical sports bar fare, but the outstanding service made a lasting impression. I'd definitely come back, especially for another big sporting event, because of how well the staff handled an incredibly busy day.

I had never been here before, but my friend has and she recommended I try them out. It was very busy when we arrived and it was a little bit of a wait for service, but the bartender said we could sit anywhere we'd like. She eventually came to our table and dropped off both regular and happy hour menus and asked if we wanted water while we looked over the menus. We decided on our drinks and we ordered the sampler. The drinks and the food were good and the arrive was good too. The seating area is very spacious and plenty of places to enjoy your libations. Next time I am in the River Park area I will stop by and try more happy hour items. The prices are great too!

Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly bartender by the name of Ronny. Our first round consisted of two dirty martinis (my new drink of choice), which Ronny put his fist (that's a good thing) into making. One of the things that I love about dive bars is the various demographics that usually frequent them (along with their interesting conversations). For our second round we ordered a "Manmosa (yes I know that sounds ridiculously machismo in 2024)" that Ronny insisted on putting a fruity spin on. Not only were we thankful for his suggestion, but his version was GOOD! In real dive bar-like fashion, Ronny provided us both with an extra cup to house the remainder of the Manmosa that could not fit into our glasses (another dive bar perk). As we sat at the bar, my wife and chatted while lightly watching the movie Step Brothers on one of the televisions. Although it was a fairly slow Saturday afternoon, I can imagine that this place gets pretty lively in the latter part of the night though. We observed lots of seating, games, and an area for karaoke (toasted karaoke is the best!). I highly recommend The Blind Pig if you're looking to have deliciously strong drinks at a price that won't have you waking up the next morning rethinking the decisions that you made the previous night!

We kicked off the evening with Jameson shots before diving into the menu. Our group ordered a mix of the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, while I opted for the corned beef tacos. Every dish was excellent, the corned beef is incredibly tender and literally melts in your mouth. If you want to try it but aren't up for a heavy sandwich and fries, the tacos are a fantastic, flavor-packed alternative that I will definitely order again. The drink selection was equally impressive; the beers were great, and the Irish Mule was delicious. Emma provided outstanding service throughout the night.
