Found this spot while walking nearby. Luckily we were seated right away because it was getting busy. Its a smaller restaurant but feels homey. The menu was not complicated. There's a few soup dishes and rice dishes and appetizers . I ordered their yokozuna ramen with combos of 3 meat, porkbelky, chicken kaarange and goyza with option pork broth. The broth was savory and flavorful. The other orders were the Oyako Donburi rice bowl ( chicken with white onion and scrambled eggs) and the miso flavor ramen soup. Came here for brunch. The staff were very friendly and kind. They checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal. The interior is pretty narrow and small, but charming. I got the karaage ramen with the shoyu (soy sauce) broth. I've never had fried chicken in ramen before, so it was definitely very interesting. The serving is pretty big. I got the spicy on the side and they give you a lot, so if you're ordering with another person you could probably share one "spicy on the side" with them. The spicy on the side is pretty good and actually very spicy. I was worried the chicken would get soggy and lead to a texture nightmare, but I found that even when wet the chicken was still a little crispy and had a nice texture. The chicken had a good flavor and was tender as well. The noodles are chewy (good thing) and yummy. The broth isn't anything special and was a little bland. Plenty of all 3 meats, noodles, broth, and other ingredients. The only problem I had was that the egg was very hard boiled. It would've been nice if it was soft boiled. But overall the miso was comforting, not overly salty, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. My mom's veggie ramen was perfect for her dietary restrictions. She appreciated the amount of veggies and that the broth also wasn't too salty. The gyoza were good, but I wish they gave us a lemon wedge instead of a slice. I couldn't squeeze any juice out of it. Service was friendly for the most part. They may have been short staffed and it didn't help that there was an issue with their ticketing system. But we weren't in a rush so we didn't mind the wait. The space is narrow, but there is an area that can accommodate maybe a group of 6 at the max. Otherwise, this place is probably best for parties of 2. And there are A LOT of signs. They must deal with many inebriated patrons or maybe just people being people. There are signs not to open the windows, not to bring outside food, to sign up on the wait list etc. So be sure to read everything when you enter. Ramen-Ya is short for Ramen Katana-Ya. Located in one of the rows of the Grand Bazaar shops (with other more reasonably priced eateries and souvenir shops) on the strip, next to the Horeshoe Casino. I stopped in for lunch the other day and ordered what I would consider their kitchen sink Ramen, the "Yokozuna Supreme", which is a large bowl probably enough for 2 people to share (with an additional appetizer), or a really hungry person to finish. It includes a sampling of all their protein toppings (fried chicken karaage, pork chasu/belly slices, thin beef slices, gyoza, and boiled egg with some sprigs of spinach leaves, green onions, corn, and a small square of dried seaweed). Though the online menu notes a spicy miso broth, you can modify this to another broth base and spiciness level. I also ordered a hot oolong tea, which came in a to-go cup. The ramen was tasty and noodles were cooked to slightly past al dente. I enjoyed all the toppings, but I think I would ask for the fried chicken and gyoza toppings to be on the side, so that the batter doesn't get too soggy before I have time to finish them. The fried chicken pieces I received were juicy pieces of white meat. The gyoza had a very finely minced filling texture of meat and veggies/cabbage/onions - so this wasn'tmy favorite of the protein toppings. The egg was also overcooked and hard-boiled, instead of cooked to a medium consistency with a semi-gooey yolk (typical of other ramen venues). The thin beef slices were marinated in teriyaki and similar to that of Korean bulgogi. And the pork chasu/belly slices were very good and tender. I would definitely come back but likely only get the fried chicken, pork chasu, and/or beef toppings for the ramen. Tea was also nice and they topped it off with more hot water so that I could take it with me. read more

I ordered the tonkatsu broth and it tasted so watered down and didn't have any richness I would've expected. The gyoza was subpar, and was tossed into my bowl along with the karaage which made them both pretty mushy and soft. The flavor of the Karaage was good at the very least, as well as the chashu itself.. the noodle itself was ok.. nothing special..
