During a recent trip to Vegas, my husband and I were walking the Strip before we had to head to the airport. We wanted something quick and easy for lunch, and we came across MokBar inside of Caesar's Palace inside of a food hall. Their menu was pretty solid with a decent amount of variety to choose from. Service was also kind and our food came out quickly. We started out with the Pork Pan Fried Dumplings which were delicious. Loved the dipping sauce that they were served with too! It was a fair balance of a sweet and savory profile. I got the Classic Ramen (crazy to do on a such a hot day but there was AC!) which has a gochujang pork broth. The broth was solid! Loved that it had a slightly spicy kick to it. Noodles were a great texture and the pork was yummy. My husband got the Bulgogi Bowl which he really enjoyed. One thing that he didn't notice was that it came with poached egg, and he's allergic, so we made sure to scoop that out and not get it mixed in with everything else. Overall he enjoyed it! It's hard to say if we'd return here because there's SO much to eat in Vegas, but it was great for a quick lunch while we were in the Caesar's. So.... You know this is gonna sound bad when I start this review with So.... I ordered 2 classic ramens, 1 bibimbap with bulgogi and a fried egg, 1 order or of fried dumplings and 1 boba brown sugar. Here I go and set up my kids food. I portion the bibimbap in a small bowl. The most important part of the meal is the gochujang sauce. I didn't see it on the tray, so I go up to the worker who is busy , that's ok cause I know busy. What upset me was , when I asked him if they provided gochujang, he was adamant about the sauce being on my food try. I told him it was not and he went on to tell me what color sauces should be on my tray. Clearly I know what the sauces look like. He was like well I don't know what to tell you. It's $1. What is this??? Why with hold sauce when I never got it in the first place. I just spent $97.45 Esther Choi. Teach your worker some customer service. read more

You just wanna eat first, but we're definitely going here again so I will take pictures next time on the pork and Bulgogi they had these kimchi pickles they were so good service and ambience wise. It's self serve you order. It's a food cord the food court looks OK. They have a lot of space for sitting so it is nice and it's right in the hotel which is very good if you don't wanna walk anywhere to eat, they have a lot of options here there's a burger and pizza and chicken place as well so this was really great. We came to the food court as I wanted a quick bite to eat before we head the airport and I wanted to eat healthy. I think the whole Las Vegas trip I was eating really healthy for some reason except for some ice cream here and there. The line can get really long especially during peak time and they only have one person to take orders and then on top of that serve people the food and make sure it is correct. We ended up waiting 15 minutes in line to order and there was only 2 people ahead of us. It is overpriced, but I was able to use Caesar reward points to pay for it, but it ended up being $45 dollars. Overall, the food was alright, but I ended up getting a Kincaid sore on my lip from it, maybe it was too salty. The avocado was a little to heard for my liking, but the salmon was really good though and was not dry. I would come back and eat here again, but probably not use my own money to pay for it. read more

My friend Matt and I dined at this spot for lunch. It is right in between a restaurant by Rick Bayless, as well as Bobby Flay; all the restaurants in this area or by a famous chef or iron chef. For lunch, I got the kimchi Ramen with kimchi noodles and veggies. The bowl was $18.98. This was one of my favorite spots to go get Ramen. We definitely have to stop back. The service was quick and efficient and the bowl. My Ramen was in was also the to go bowl. In this area, where all the restaurants are, it is a quick grab and go area/quick service . We tried both flavors which was the Braised Pork with Gochujang and Berf Bulgogi. These were both so amazing with the kimchi and cucumbers, totally recommend if you need a quick snack. We stopped by Mok Bar and noticed a steady stream of customers. The line was short and moved fairly quickly, though the service was just okay and nothing particularly memorable. We ended up ordering the bao bun, pork dumplings, and bibimbap. There was plenty of seating available in the food hall, so we grabbed a table and waited. We received a buzzer and were notified when our food was ready. It did take a bit of time, but we didn't mind and were happy just relaxing and enjoying the moment. When our food arrived, it was packaged in a cute little box, which made us excited to try everything. The pork dumplings were good and pretty standard. I love bao buns, and the pork bao was very delicious with a slightly sweet flavor, though I do wish it had been a bit warmer. The bibimbap was colorful and flavorful. Situated in the Food Hall at Caesar's Palace, MokBar by Esther Choi promised more than it delivered. The staff were great, helpful, and efficient as they were also busy cleaning/restocking for maybe the next day. It was a Wednesday evening, and maybe 1-2 customers ahead of me. It seemed to take some time to get orders out but that seemed to be the vibe at the Food Hall in general. The food hall was not crowded and tables were readily available as you wait for the pager to signal you to come pick up your order. I got the Bulgogi Bowl which sounded better on the menu than in reality. The flavors were there but so very, very muted almost bland. A side of Gochujang would have helped the side sauce tremendously. Overall in a pinch, this would work for a "quick" meal but with a bit more time/planning, there are other, much better options. read more

Mokbar is a Korean spot headlined by Esther Choi so we were pretty excited to give it a try and see what kind of flavors our bowl would bring. This spot is conveniently located in the Celebrity Food Hall right before the Forum Shops but the food court can get busy so be aware of that. We ordered kimchi ramen and fried pork dumplings. Ordering was quick and you get a buzzer to come pick up your food when it's ready so we went to sit and wait in the meantime. The food did end up taking a bit longer than expected and it didn't seem too busy upfront so be aware of that. We did eventually get our food and it looked pretty good so we were excited to dive in and here's what we found: The kimchi ramen has a nice punch, the broth is very colored and rich in flavor with a bit of spice. The noodles were on the firmer side and pretty standard in flavor. The big letdown was the meat though. It was stringy and flavorful but there was almost none of it. For every bite we took of the braised pork we would spend another minute looking for the next and it never came. The bowl was decent but it felt like they skipped out hard on it, which is unfortunate considering it comes in at a $19 price point. The pork friend dumplings were just okay as well. Nice crunch on the outside but the filling was meh. Ultimately we felt a bit let down by Mokbar. The food is by no means bad, just average. It definitely fixes a ramen craving, but if you're coming here looking to be wowed by Esther Choi's cooking then it may not be the surprise you're looking for. At the end of the day it is food court food so it's probably not the smartest to try to hold it to restaurant quality in your head, but we'll give this place a recommendation to anyone staying in Caesars who has a strong craving for Korean food as they do offer others things like bulgogi rice bowls. read more

Seating can be limited during peak hours since it's shared with other restaurants inside the food court. As far as "food court ramen" goes -- it was decent! I paid $57.40, but the food quality was unacceptable. * Ramen: The noodles were overcooked and mushy (like rice cakes), yet the soup was way too salty to eat. * Bibimbap: The rice was undercooked and hard. It was literally inedible. * Bulgogi: The meat was tough and dry, like chewing on rubber. As someone who loves and knows Korean food, it honestly hurts to see K-food represented this poorly. It takes a lot of nerve to charge nearly $60 for such low-quality cooking. I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from this place. There are much better, more authentic options elsewhere. Longtime Esther Choi fan here so I had to make my way to Mokbar at Caesars! Overall, the experience was great. The food was tasty, service was quick and the staff were friendly. The only drawback is the location. Since it's inside the Caesars Celebrity Food Court, seating can be limited and a little hectic during peak lunch/dinner hours. What I ordered: * Kimchi Ramen ($18.99) - 8/10. Flavorful broth and hearty portions. Noodles were slightly clumped even when eaten right away. * Beef Bulgogi Bao Bun ($9.99) - 8/10. Light, fluffy bao and flavorful bulgogi. Delicious but gone in two bites and feels expensive for what you get. While it's satisfying, you're left wanting more. Worth trying once. * K-Pop Chicken ($11.99) - 6/10. Came with 6 wings so the value isn't bad compared to other spots. Sizes were inconsistent (one giant drumstick vs two tiny wings) and the chicken was a bit dry. Wouldn't order again. If you like heat ask the staff for their chili oil. They'll give you a small to go container. Overall, Mokbar is worth checking out if you're a fan of Esther Choi or just want solid Korean inspired bites on the Strip. read more

I knew of Esther Choi from watching Iron Chef, so seeing her name on a Vegas marquee felt like a mini celebrity sighting. Located inside Caesar's palace, in the celebrity food court, it's bustling with prime Vegas energy: sleek, modern, and perfectly positioned for a refuel between casino wandering and shopping laps. I ordered the Bulgogi Bowl ($21.99) which had thinly sliced marinated ribeye, carrots, onions, kimchi, scallions, and a poached egg. The ribeye was tender and well-marinated, slightly sweet with a savory soy-garlic depth. The portion of beef was generous, and the vegetables added crunch and balance. The kimchi brought just enough acidity and heat to cut through the richness, and once the poached egg broke and coated everything, the yolk tied the whole bowl together. Portion-wise, it looked modest at first glance, but I left completely full. If you're in Vegas and want something flavorful that's not another steakhouse or buffet round, this is a solid stop. read more

Friday, 4-04-2025: Another overdue review. We had been walking around Caesar's looking for a place to eat for lunch. We were famished & happily found the food court. I wanted some Asian cuisine while hubby opted for a hamburger. The MokBar fit the bill perfectly. They were pricey and I hoped it was worth it! I was greeted warmly by the cashier and asked about the various bowls they offered. I told her I had never heard of Gochujang Teriyaki and she said it was very good and highly recommended it. So, I trusted her & ordered the Gochujang Teriyaki Chicken along with a White Peach Boba drink. It didn't take too long before I received my order. It smelled so good & the portions were huge! She didn't steer me wrong! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender and the vegetables were not over cooked. I found it delicious and filling! I didn't need to eat dinner, for sure. My Boba drink was refreshing and a perfect complement to my fantastic meal! I was very pleased with my overall experience. I will return when we visit Caesar's again. read more

I'm disappointed because I enjoyed following Esther Choi's cooking videos. I thought it would be good to try this spot while staying at Caesar's Palace. This place is located in Caesars Palace in the Celebrity Food Hall area. I went with the Classic Ramen and Pork Pan Fried Dumplings. My fiancé ordered the Gochujang Teriyaki Bowl. The broth in the Ramen was very good as was the Braised pork. They give you a lot of pork! The only complaint I have is there were more veggies than noodles (specifically the spinach). Not that big of a deal considering I need more veggies in my life but more noodles would have been nice. The Dumplings were outstanding. The dipping sauce was even better. I didn't try the teriyaki bowl but my fiancé said she really enjoyed it. The lady who took our order was very nice too. There is also plenty of seating all around the area too. I heard about Chef Esther's restaurant here in Las Vegas! I wanted to support her and give it a try. It is the only Asian option in the celebrity food court at the Cesar Palace hotel. I was feeling a rice bowl and I got the purple rice with the teriyaki chicken. I felt like the sauce was just average and I was just served just purple rice. The ratio to the rice, meat and vegetables. I was quite disappointed. It's not that it didn't flavor, but I just felt like it wasn't something that stood out to me. I really, really wanted to like MokBar. It's located in the celebrity food hall of Caesar's Palace. I think Esther Choi is such a talented chef, and I've always enjoyed watching her on various YouTube videos. That being said, MokBar fell short for me. Vegas is expensive and given the competitive food scene here, I'm really disappointed with our lunch experience. The kimchi ramen was bland and lacking in flavor. No saltiness or umami to the broth. It was like you got plain hot water with a few kimchi pieces thrown in. Instant Shin Ramyun has more depth than this. The employee had zero knowledge of the menu. I had asked if the pork dumplings came pan fried like in one of the pictures displayed at the counter or if they were deep fried. I explained that I didn't want to order them if they were deep fried, but she didn't understand what I was asking. She then assured me that they would come out pan fried like the picture. Nope. They were deep fried. There was practically no pork in the filling. It was mostly bean thread noodles and cabbage. The one somewhat decent thing I ordered was the bun. The bulgogi is ok, but the bun itself isn't fluffy in texture. It's rather small for the price. Maybe I just didn't order the right things, but I regret that I spent money on this meal considering the low quality. Located in a food court area so plenty of seating, but availability depends on when you go and business. I took mine back to room so no issues for me. I got a brown sugar boba drink which was good but a bit sweet. Let the ice melt a bit and it'll be better. For my meal I got the classic ramen to go. It was nicely packaged and made it to my room safely and still hot. I was quite impressed with the amount of ingredients, especially the braised pork! They gave a lot! The overall meal was very good. The food court is made up of small spots all with celebrity chefs under its belt, with MokBar being with celebrity chef Esther Choi. The staff was decent on taking my order, no other interaction with that. Just had to wait for my food to arrive and eat at any open table. The kimchi ramen noodle was delicious! Creamy, thick, a little kick from the broth. The pork belly you can spread like butter it was so tender. Vegan Miso Ramen is easily the worst noodle bowl I've ever had, which they have the nerve to charge $18 for. The portions better be very generous for that price. Instead, the meager portion size wasn't worth more than a price of $8. The plastic bowl is large, but barely half full. It only had five medium pieces of deep-fried tofu. It lacked flavor, and had no vegetables. It was served with a nice plastic spoon and wooden chopsticks, which were a waste on such a pathetic dish, and to be thrown away at the end. The cashier was apathetic and didn't bother to ask if we wanted any condiments for the overpriced meal. The payment machine should not be asking for a tip for fast-food-style ordering. The reviews are correct when it comes to the bugolgi beef bowl and I wish I read them before ordering. The meat tastes like there's something missing. The kimchi is very lacking. I did enjoy the purple rice but I was expecting more. The frozen Trader Joe's bugolgi beef is literally way more delicious than the meat here. The service was great however. read more

Got the pork dumplings in soup and out came the smallest portion for $12.99. There were 5 small dumplings in the cup. If you're expecting something anything close to satisfying, look elsewhere. The dumplings itself actually tasted okay, but the house pork broth just tasted like chili flakes in water. Food took about 15 min to come out, no line on a Monday I was there.
