    Veggie ramen

Nasty traffic on our way back from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom so we decided to make a stop for dinner. Craving for ramen, we found Ramen101 and decided to give this place a try. Super small place in a shopping plaza area, however, clean and quiet. Not crowded during the weeknight. You can eat here or can do take out; I saw folks doing Uber/DoorDash pick up as well. They also have self-serve water. We ordered: Miso Ramen- Comes with bamboos, 2 slices of chashu pork, mushrooms. Broth is so good, not too salty. (I've had ones where too much miso and too salty!) Chashu had light flavor and not too much fat. Yum. 5/5 Veggie Ramen- Comes with tofu, mushrooms, bamboos, corn, and bean sprouts. I added an egg because I gotta have an egg in my noodle soup! Delicious delicious broth; light and flavored. Yum. 5/5

Great ramen place located in the Greenhouse shopping center. My fav is the Black garlic ramen, but the Spicy Chicken Ramen is also good. You can order the level of spiciness you like also, from "no spice" to "extra spicy" to suit your preference. The Black Garlic broth has a rich flavor and loaded with noodles, sliced pork, soft boiled egg, bean sprouts corn and more. I love that they serve the noodles separate from the broth in their to-go orders so the noodles don't get soggy on the way home. It's hot and fresh when you arrive back at your destination. I usually pick up to go, but they also have a nice seating area with several booths and tables. Service is fast and friendly.

These are the nasty leftovers nobody wanted to finish. Such a waste of money.

This place used to be good. They must've changed ownership in the last few years because it is horrible now. The broth tastes like hot water, the noodles are mushy, the eggs are hard boiled and the pork was tough. My family will never eat here again. The picture is how much we threw away. None of us could eat anymore. Too bad, this place used to be good.

Pretty good ramen. Large quantity, and I like that you can tell them your spicy level. The service is great, workers are friendly and kind.

We ordered the black ramen and agedashi tofu. Serving was just right but was enough to share for 2-not so hungry people. Soup tasted really good but giving four stars because they have add ons that you have to pay like mushroom and seaweed, while in other places, they are already included in the order.

We went there with a few family members on a weekend lunch. It was quite empty and we were seated right away. Ordered a few things 1. Chicken katsu with rice for my son 4/5: it was decent and my son liked the chicken 2. Chicken karage 5/5: was quite nice and my son liked it. 2. Veg ramen 2/5: was quite average. The tofu didnt smell that great and the broth was not too flavorful. 3. Chicken ramen 4/5: was decent 4. Seafood ramen 4/5: i did not taste it but was good. Overall an okay place. Wouldn't go try again

Our food came quick and the ramen was really good . The tv inside was playing Young Sheldon so we watched that while eating. The overall service was great.

Came in about 7pm on a Friday night. I haven't been here in years but I'm pretty sure I remember it was a sit down/waiter situation before? Idk but nothing wrong with what they have now. As soon as I walked in, I saw the elders cooking in the back. It was then I knew, the food was about to be bomb AF. You walk up to the register and there's a table at the register with the ramen menu and up I top is the appetizer and rice bowl menu. My husband and I immediately wanted the black Garlic ramen. We also got some apps. Black Garlic ramen: My husband got the medium and I got mild. 10/10 it was everything! 3 slices of pork, 1 egg and whole bunch of roasted garlic. We added chili oil on the side. Gyoza: 10/10 amazing flavor inside and crisped to perfection. Lumpia's: 8/10 nothing special but I would've loved them extra crispy. The place was empty Friday night but they had constant in/out from Uber/doordash drivers. Def give this place a chance and go all the way in. The music was great and not too loud for my husband and I to talk. We'll be back soon!

Ok. So this review is going to be a little schizophrenic. I actually annoyed the ramen here. I think it was tasty and fresh. The Ramen has a lot of good toppings/ingredients including bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and a generous amount of green onions. My husband, however, did not enjoy the food. He is a ramen snob, and he rightfully pointed out that the noodles were overcooked. They should have a bouncier or al dente texture. He also found the miso broth to be very light in flavor. We both liked the Chicken Karaage. The service was efficient, if a little rushed. The place has a nice dinning area, that seem spacious in spite of the smaller size of the restaurant. Overall, I would recommend this spot, but Ramen aficionados have now been warned.

Had dinner here a few weeks ago, came in on a Sunday night about 6pm. It was pretty empty, with 2 tables. We order Grilled Whole Squid, Gyoza, Black Garlic Ramen and Chicken Ramen. The squid was chewy , didn't taste fresh. The gyoza was a little dried and no flavor. The black garlic ramen was okay and lack flavor as well and same for the chicken ramen. The service was great though. Not sure why this location is not that good, because the one in Dublin is!!!

    Shoyu Ramen

I've been here a couple of times and I always get the shoyu ramen because it's pretty good. Same with tonkotsu. The staff are really friendly, service is fast, and the place is pretty chill and quiet. You order at the counter, then pick the table you want, and they will bring the food to you. You get the utensils and water yourself which are all at the front. The only problem was that my uncle had unagi and didn't really like how the rice was hard. But despite that, the ramen is good!

Chicken Karage crispy outside moist inside not oily !

    Ask the Community - Ramen101

A your vegetarian ramen made with vegetarian broth?

Yes, broth is vegan/vegetarian but the noodles have egg in them. The restaurant is happy to sub the noodles with extra veggies. They are very accommodating!

Do you use MSG in any of your dishes? For those of us with allergies and need to know.

They do ... I've heard a guy working at the register tell a customer up front they can just add more MSG to make it spiced . Big no no , because his manager quickly scolded him and told him not to say "msg" lol . I stopped going after that
