ANYWAY, I was told of this hidden gem of a Mexican store and I had to check it out. IT IS AWESOME! AAAAAMMMMMAAAAAAZZZZZIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!! Reminiscent of my trips to Mexico and south Texas.... Everything you'll need for that perfect meal. OH WAIT! You can ACTUALLY EAT HERE TOO. I haven't had a meal here YET, but my next trip I will certainly do so. I just had the best enchiladas I've ever eaten, at Ramirez Mexican Store. I've had their tacos before, and loved them, but the enchiladas are even better. I had Pollo with Verde sauce, and the flavor was incredibly intense. The rice and beans were also the best I've had. I seldom finish the beans at a Mexican restaurant, but this time I did, and cherished every bite. Man that was good! My wife had a quesadilla, and while she thought it was great, she loved my enchiladas. I thought Vuelve A La Vida (in Tacoma) was good, but I liked this even better. read more

I have to tell you the chicken enchiladas with red Sauce is like crack to me!! I am addicted to them. The beans as ok, I make better pinto beans (my Mother taught me) so i am judging by that standard. The chicken enchiladas are loaded with chicken. You could feed 2 people with this platter. The food is not authentic Mexican food. The food lacks flavor. the tortilla are too dry and shard and void of flavor. watch out for expired items, make sure you check the expiration dates. The meat tacos have too much fat. The Mexican pastries are good though, but expensive. I suggest they open up a bakery. read more

At this point, I've tried a number of burritos (carne asada, camerones, pollo, etc.) and have thoroughly enjoyed them...and their accompanying and varied house salas! We've also purchase to take home and grill a number of their meats (seasoned and unseasoned) and all have been very good! Service is always prompt, efficient, and friendly! Definitely need to make it up to Shelton and try that location as well!
