I brought my Winnebago Solis to Ramon's Commercial Tires in June 2025 in prep for a long trip to Alaska starting in late July. It had been a very busy year and I still had many demands on my time that were not related to the trip, and I was stressed. I wanted new tires plus a spare for the trip. Savio at Leales referred me to Ramon's and they did a wonderful job with the tires, including locating a rim for the spare. The Solis has no space for a spare. I ordered a mounted from Landed Gear and had it shipped to Leales and Leales followed the instructions for the installation so that the spare stayed put even when we drove the famously rough Alcan Highway there and back. The road is built on permafrost and its reputation has not been exaggerated - we encountered one car with two flat tires - but with good tires and slow driving, we never needed our spare. We also did not experience the problems I've read people have with other brands or improperly installed back door mounted spare tire racks: broken window or warping of the metal doors. read more

Most RV owners in the Bay Area find it very difficult to locate services to repair or maintain their RV. When you do find a location and provides the level of service and support they are keepers for life. Such is the case of Ramon's Commercial Tires. The dealer installed tire extension valves on my RV, they used the cheap braided extensions that failed on 3 tires after a year, and I could not install my TPMS Sensors. Tires and wheels being the most important part on your RV, I wanted them to be replaced with the proper valve extensions. I called Ramon who has a very good reputation on Yelp and Social Media. He took the time to talk to me over the phone and listen to my concerns and questions. I wasted no time in driving over. Upon arrival Ramon met me outside, knew exactly what needed to be done and proceeded to begin work immediately. 1 hour later, the job was done, he explained the old valves and why they failed or were garbage. He explained and showed me the new parts he installed and why they were safe and superior. I should not have any problems from this day forward. He took extra time to also answer my questions about RV Tires and wheels for the future when the time comes for me to replace them. Brought my 24ft Travel Trailer RV over to have special TPMS sensors installed that sync directly with my truck. Was in and out in under 20 mins. Great Customer Service over the Phone, Great Prices, and Great Service. He should change his name to Ramon's Commercial and RV Tires to show up in searches more, as I would not want to take my Truck+Trailer to a normal tire shop given how small there parking lots usually are. With my RV tires 6 years I decided to replace them. Having had an expensive blowout on a past RV with tire a little older than these I no longer press my luck with tire age. Right now there is a shortage for tires like many things affected by the pandemic. I went to Ramon and told him to keep me in mind for a second tier tire as they become available. Two weeks later Ramon called to tell me he had a dozen Sumitomo tires made for buses and RVs. He quoted me a fair price for the tires together with extended steel stems for my rear inner tires. These tires had a DOT code that was only 10 weeks from production. Two hours later I had these mounted and ready to go. He even has a machine to polish aluminum wheels, which I would have opted for if I had only noticed this on his website. A couple of days after taking my RV home I was letting a little air out of a few tires to meet my pressure setting spec for my RV and a valve core failed. I notified Ramon and he sent a technician out the same morning to replace it where my RV is stored. The tech even gave me a few extra cores in case I have future problems. You might find tires at a slightly lower price than Ramon offers, but this level of service is well worth the cost. I trust his expertise and he stands behind his products and his service. One-year update: I've put on almost 10,000 miles on our RV with absolutely no problems. Having these tires gave us the confidence to make some trips that would've otherwise been stressful if not disastrous. Best money I've spent on our RV to date (and that includes a new fridge for about the same price, which we also love). ---===--- Super flexible (I had to reschedule a few times because of other problems with my vehicle), great communication (always answered, called back, clear and concise answers), honest opinions, good deals, proactive and quick work. It's not a fancy place with a lounge full of coffee and donuts, receptionists to greet and make smalltalk, those giant super-clean and organized work bays - but I'd take competent service and quality tires any day. I wanted to send my sincere thanks to the Gentleman who helped me at Ramon's Commercial Tire shop to today Friday September 23rd. I am a 70y/o disabled Vet having served with the Marine Corps and US Navy as a Field Medic and Hospital Corpsman. This detail was unknown to the gentleman who assisted me. Even though there were several commercial trucks and trailers being serviced I came to this shop because I am not familiar with the area and was traveling from Hawaii. I needed to put air in my girlfriends car's tires because the TPMS light came on. I had no idea which tire needed air. I got off the HWY 87 and Curtner when I googled "find a tire shop close to me". I wasn't sure how I would be greeted at a commercial tire shop. First the young man in the service drive who was servicing another commercial customer was neat, clean and very polite. He directed me inside to the office. A gentleman there was on the phone but immediately acknowledged me, heard my concern and said he'd be right with me. I initially thought he was blowing me off but within 2-3 minutes he came out and personally checked all 4 tires, put air in each of them and had me on my way so we could make it on time to visit the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University to see several Asian exhibits. Wow so much more there!! (BTW I think Ramons is an American Mexican Managed Business, I am a Caucasian and my friend is Vietnamese.) I tried to offer the gentleman a tip but he refused and settled for a handshake. I am not sure but I think the gentleman may have been a manager but he acted like an owner taking care of his best customer though I was unknown to him. Right from my initial contact with Ramon, I was impressed with his professionalism and commitment. I explained my need to replace tires on my RV. He explained his service and offered to call back with pricing options. When he called back he had 3 different tires priced with a range of about $1000. He explained the advantages of each. He explained what was included with the tire replacement. When I got done, I felt comfortable with the tire selection I had made and with its value. When I arrived with my RV, Ramon came out to greet me and drive my RV into place for his staff to begin their work. Then Ramon offered to take me over to The Plant which is nearby to have lunch while the tires were being replaced. I insisted that I could use the exercise. He then suggested that we go over to Leale's RV so he could introduce me to their storage manager since he knew I was storing in Milpitas and was interested in finding a local storage location. I agreed and he drove me over, introduced me to the owner and then had the storage manager paged to come and discuss storage options. Afterward he drove me over to The Plant and asked where I would like to be dropped off while they finished with my tires. I also found out that Ramon, or one of his staff, can pick up your RV to bring it down for service, if that is more convenient to you. After a nice lunch at Panera, I walked over to Best Buy and to the AutoZone for a couple of errands, and then headed back to Ramon's (he would have come to get me if I had wanted). When I arrived (about an hour and a half after I had dropped off the RV...remember it was their lunch time, too), they were finishing the alignment. They have a high tech laser system, John Beam Access 4000 (I believe it is called). It's very precise and provides a print out of the measurements before and after alignment (there are YouTube videos describing the system). It's reasonably priced and the RV needed the alignment. Before I left, Ramon personally dressed my tires, explained the valve extenders that they had used (even demonstrated them), and explained all the paper work before folding and putting them in an envelope with his card and cellphone number in case I had any questions or problems. I strongly recommend Ramon's services. The work was done quickly and professionally. Ramon, himself, is very personable, helpful, and very experienced in his business. Had my Toyo motorhome RV tires replaced with Uniroyal RS20 and a front end alignment. They provided me with enough information to make an informed decision about tires. they removed the braided valve stems, stating they are a cause of tire failure. replaced them with extended solid metal stems and ALLIGATOR Double Seal Valve Caps. The next week, our friends had to replace 2 new tires because the braided valve stems failed on their RV - they should have used Ramon's!
