She was very attentive and welcoming. She asked us where we preferred to sit and we decided on a good location with an umbrella All seating here is outside. It is a great setup with a bar a lower and upper level. I ordered the blacked fish special of the day. It was cooked well and had a great taste. The zucchini pickle was also a nice touch. The waitress was kind and really attentive. She checked on us constantly. One of the other waitresses told us a little information about the restaurant. Perfect little lunch spot for a chill, tropical vibe! Sitting outside and enjoying the live music, I started off with an orange crusher (very refreshing). We then just had some apps: tuna tartare and conch fritters. The conch fritters weren't too bad and were good sized. The tuna tartare was surpassingly very good, from the fish to the wonton crisps. The service was super friendly and nice, and they have the biggest bloody mary bar in Key West! We had lunch here on our recent trip to Key West. The food was ok. Not fantastic, but ok for lunch. I got the Fish Tacos and my husband got the Fish and Fries. I liked my fish tacos better than my husband liked his fried fish. The best part was the Bloody Mary Bar. It's $11-$13, based on the Vodka that you chose. Then you get to make your own Bloody Mary. There is a lot of different hot sauces to chose from, bacon, olives, fruits & vegetables and different types of peppers, etc., etc. The service was good and the live music was enjoyable. Loved this meal, my favorite in the Keys on our trip. First time trying conch fritters and they were delicious, served with a mango habanero sauce that was just right on my spicy meter. Think Bahama Breeze and Applebee's had an ugly step child. If you want good service... food that isn't cold...and to not feel sick after you eat... then keep walking. Went here once before when it was the Blue Macaw. Stopped in today to try their famous Bloody Mary Bar... they basically give you a glass with ice and vodka and then you add the rest. They use Daily's Bloody Mary mix and have shelves of hot sauce you can choose from. The fixings were typical, nothing to get me excited to pay $17. We did however enjoy the Crush drinks as well as some of the frozen concoctions. If you plan to visit go for the happy hour 4-7. Their appetizers are delicious and 1/2 price. The tuna and stuffed avocado were both delicious, also tried the fish dip but it was super salty. Definitely worth trying it! read more

My wife and I liked this place so much we hit it up twice during our stay a couple months back. The outdoor dining was nice as was the Cuban sandwich I ordered. The Bloody Mary bar was a neat concept until you are me and put a monster scoop or horseradish in your drink and ruin it. The waitress more or less looked at it and asked me what was wrong with my Bloody Mary. It was quite humorous, but deep down inside I wish she would have allowed me for a second attempt. We came back one evening for a side of conch fritters and a few Cat 5 Key Lime beers. My only cavil was the keg was tapped so we had to settle for cans, but after drinking all over Key Weird, did it really even matter? Nope. This place is not in the busy, crazy area but is worth checking out. We will return again one day. read more

I do not recommend this restaurant. Food was just ok. There were so many flies that I could not even enjoy myself. The waiter was beyond rude. Another group came in and the waiter was waiting for us to leave so he could take our table and put it with another one to make room for this group of people. The make your own Bloody Mary bar is excellent- you get a glass with vodka in on and then the rest is up to you. You have your choice of Bloody Mary mix, various hot sauces and SO MANY add ins- pickles, peppers, bacon, celery, okra and FRESH horseradish. Absolutely no flavor literally a smashed avocado with Alfalfa sprouts not even all the salt could give it flavor. Came here actually by accident, was heading to Blue Heaven but the place was an hour and half wait so we came back here and glad we did. Quick seating, all outdoors, live music and delicious, creative cuisine and a build your own bloody mary bar! The menu is a collection of all sorts of brunchy items and I got a delicious loaded omelet with home fried potatoes and it hit the spot. The tater tot casserole was also delicious and the bloody marys are made just right. Service is friendly and quick and the decor in this place is really cool.
