I can't see myself rating a Ram's Horn of all places a solid 5 Stars, but it sure does come close. With that being said, my official score is 4.875 Stars. I live not too far from this location and drive by it on a daily basis, but it wasn't until recently that I decided to eat there. The food in general wasn't bad. I had the Fish and Macaroni, or as I referred to it as the "Old Man" meal, and my only real complaint was that the Macaroni and Cheese was just average. It was pretty comparable to the Stouffers frozen variety. The Rice Pudding I ate (again this was my "Old Man" meal) was rich and creamy and a nice way to end my meal. The Service though is were the place shines in my eyes. The lady who waited on me had the best upbeat attitude ever and we kept cracking jokes back and forth the entire time. This didn't seem like "just a job" for her, she enjoyed what she was doing and it showed. Even if the food sucked, I would still probably go back just to have her wait on me again. This might just be my new go to quick meal place especially since they are open 24 hours. read more

It seems as if the mgmt does not care. Today we went for lunch and they were out of Apple Juice for the kids. My order took 7 minutes to make it into the back area as the Waitress decided to park at another table and shoot the bull for a few minutes. Alas - the order came out wrong and missing things. And I had to flag down a polite busboy to get a refill. That is messed up. It is clean, but the staff seems misdirected and I never saw a Mgr walk over and ask ANYONE how their visit was going. Just had a carry out for two imitator Big Mac burgers and they were really good! They were Pretty sizable burgers and I feel the price was reasonable for what we got. The service was pretty fast too. I was told 10 minutes over the phone and It was ready to go as I walked in. Can't say much for anything else on the menu, but the burger was very good! read more

Consistently good food. The Imitator Burger is a great burger! This establishment is always opening their doors to the community for fundraisers, car shows, gatherings, etc. It is the best Ram's Horn around. The employees are all friendly and quick. I haven't eaten here in years due to a disastrous occurrence at this location years ago. My son wanted breakfast somewhere different for a change, so we thought of this location to give it another shot. Our waitress was decent. Restaurant was clean. The coffee wasn't great and my first cup was terrible. We had a pretty large order for only two of us (we like to try a bit of everything) but it took over 25 mins to receive 3 breakfast meals and there were only two other seated tables while dining... When the food came, my gravy was completely cold. The biscuits were shriveled, cold and dry. My omelette and hash browns were ICE cold. Not to mention the TINY measured out hash brown portion. Both orders of toast were cold. The only thing that was actually even close to "warm" were my sons pancakes. I get that the pandemic is serious, but my son grabbed a jelly packet at a neighboring empty table (because no one had come back at the time) and the short (almost shaved on the sides) dark haired female employee yelled from the back of the restaurant to him to not grab it off of the table due to the items being disinfected (the same hostess who was sweeping the floors only a foot or two behind our table while food is being served). I'm all for it, but she could have came to our table and mentioned something quietly instead of making my son feel super uncomfortable and upset by yelling for the remainder of our time there. Last thing I will say is, we spent $36 dollars there (plus a $7.20 tip) for cold food ($5.98 for only TWO crappy coffees) and for a very off putting, terrible meal that was definitely NOT worth the money or experience. I am not one for confrontation in front of my son, but if he wouldn't have been with me, I would have not reacted the same. I like to keep a smile on in front of him. I had just placed a carryout order over the phone and had talked to Mackenzie. Once I was done placing my order, my mother was going to be picking it up and she was already there once I had gotten off the phone. The Mackenzie girl that I was placing my order with was talking about how I sounded high over the phone and mocking how I was talking. Which my mother being right there in front of her, had said something to this Mackenzie person. I don't want to be a "Karen" or whatever you would like to call it, but i think that it was extremely unprofessional to be sitting there talking about someone when you have no idea who is in front of you or who is around. I work in retail and I know how it is with customers, you would never catch me taking about someone in front of anyone or behind their back. And fyi I was not high, but regardless you have no idea what people are doing or what they may be going through before they choose to make a call to YOUR business to spend their money. Just be aware of their customer service here who knows what these people like to say. The food here is mediocre and wouldn't recommend. read more

Good, local restaurant that is open 24 hours. I've come here for breakfast and the food has always been very good. They also have good burgers (I like the Imitator). It's on the large side so come hungry. The service has always been quick and friendly and their coffee is hot and fresh. There isn't a lot of 24 hour dining optiond near me so it's nice to have a reliable, consistently good place near home. read more

Never in my life have I walked out of a restaurant before I ate. Our server was hands down the rudest person I have ever come across in this industry. Yes, we did go at 2am (a group of 4 of us getting off work because we all just got off of a 12 hour shift.) To start my coworker called ahead and asked for a milkshake to go and was told the machine was broke. When we arrived at the restaurant another coworker ordered a milkshake and was told they do not serve milkshakes at night, yet it's on the menu. I was not happy with this situation because we were clearly lied to so I asked the bus boy if they serve milkshakes late night and he told me yes, so I ordered a strawberry banana one. He then walks into the back and you could hear our server SCREAMING at him, we were the only table in the building and could hear very clearly every word this girl was shouting. This came down to pure laziness. I understand the milkshake machine may have already been cleaned for the night but I am confused as to the fact this restaurant is open 24 hours. My best friend and I come here often and normally get fast and friendly service. In the midst of all of this, we had been waiting over 30 minutes for our food. Disgusted at the fact the server was screaming so loud at this sweet little bus boy my friend was nervous to even drink her milkshake in case something was done to it. Also, after the incident we never saw our server again, and no manager in sight. I finally just asked the boy for the bill. We were charged for food we never even received however I did pay for it because I don't feel it was the bus boys responsibility to resolve this issue. I am also a server so I understand having an attitude at annoying requests, but loud enough for the customer to hear is absolutely uncalled for and honestly made us uncomfortable. I will not be back here, we apparently will be spending our late nights at nationals down the street. If you don't like your job, get a new one. read more

My local theatre group and I, after a long rehearsal decided to go out and eat. So about 25 of us went about 2 miles up the road to this Rams Horn. After taking 25 drink orders one of our group casually asks if she (the waitress) could make sure that his sons coke was on his bill. She then told us they she could not provide seperate checks, after they moved tables together and taken drink orders!. Not only that, after discussing it with the "manager" at the time, we also couldn't put out sepreate amounts on credit cards! So either everyone had to have cash (which a lot of people rarely do now a days) or one person would have to pay for everyone. I understand that 25 unannounced people is a bit of a burden, but the resturant had less than 10 people other than us, and we are used to going out as a group, so delayed service is not a problem. All they had to say was, "its 11pm on a thursday and we are a little understaffed" we would have had no issues. We proceeded to a "new york style crazy wings" (lol) up the road where they had absolutley no problem with seperate checks. The food here is perfectly adequate coney food. I love their cabbage soup, and they make a mean omelette; but the dishes are ridiculously unhealthy- a turtle pancake? Really? Service is usually good but not great. It's a reasonable place to grab an easy meal in a pinch. read more

Tried to get our coffee at Timmy's on Thanksgiving and to our disappointment it was closed for the holiday.. so in search for a place for coffee and a breakfast we ended up here! We ordered our coffee right away and it was great! I ordered my usual breakfast and it was very good! Waitress was Cheerful. My partner in crime makes it a point to visit the bathroom at all establishments and he gave it a 4 star rating.. We will be back!!! read more

I've only been here a couple times but the second time they gave me a raw burrito. They did take it off the bill and offered to make me something else but at that point my appetite was spoiled. The excuse for my burrito being raw was "the burritos are bigger than we normally buy." So I'm assuming they just nuke all of their food. read more

I came here and it was a busy morning, but that was no excuse for how rude the staff was. They threw our plates down and yanked the menus out of our hands. When I said I didn't want an appetizer the server rolled her eyes and stormed off in anger. Then several of the servers and the manager walked through the restaurant yelling at each other as they served people their meals. I love going to this restaurant because for one it is super clean. The service is excellent because the waitresses greet you immediately, they are friendly, the food comes out fast, and they always come back to check on you after you have started your meal. I've never had to wait for extra napkins or a refill because they are on top of their game. The menu is quite large therefore has many options. I definitely recommend Ram's Horn of Fraser as a place to eat. read more

Haven't been here too many times. About 6 in the 15 years I've lived in the area. Tonight I went with my husband and son. I ordered the roasted turkey dinner. All I have to say is I don't think I will ever eat turkey again. This was the worst turkey I've ever had. Everything was overly salty and the turkey was a weird white color. The gravy was a weird greenish/yellowish and just tasted bad. The mash potatoes where microwaved causing hot spots that made me burn my tongue. Only ate about a 1/8 of the meal. I've noticed a server (Sam) coughing early 2:33 AM January 4, Saturday morning at the Fraser Michigan Rams Horn and said that was a terrible cough. Sunday (Jan 5) morning I returned to the restaurant and Sams cough seem to get worse and I mentioned it might be contagious whooping cough and suggested she look it up on the Internet. When I got home I sent a e-mail to the Board of Health and the CDC to see if anything could be done about contagious restaurant workers. The Board of Health contacted John Mulcahy from environmental health and John called me saying he would look into it. I told John not to mention my name because I go in the restaurant frequently, I didn't want her to get fired just a few days off work until she felt better. I returned to the restaurant January 8 and ordered eggs, toast and pancakes. It seemed that someone had tampered with my food as all three tasted so bad I had to spit them out. Because I complained they did not charge me for the food or give me a receipt. I should've kept the food for analyzing but they could have said that I contaminated it. I contacted the Rams Horn corporate office to ask them if they can look at their surveillance video to see if they can see workers tampering with my food as this is against the law and someone needs to go to prison. They never contacted me but I when I went in there last night Wednesday, they banned me from the restaurant. Is there anyway you can get a subpoena to get the surveillance video to prosecute those who tampered with my food? This is a pretty terrible system when someone reports a restaurant to the Board of Health and their answer is to contaminate the person's food who they believed reported them. I am sure all the workers thought it was pretty funny when they put something in my food and if you do send someone down there to talk to them, I'm sure they would admit it as restaurant workers don't see anything wrong with tampering with food of customers they don't like. read more

To Lee - Sir, you most certainly did serve sour milk to those kids - we saw the mother complain to her server about it. As for the tables, I have to wonder why it takes my review to make you do something about the cleanliness of them. All those 'things' that are displayed on each table? You know, salt, pepper, dessert menu, etc etc....those things are suppose to be moved and the area underneath is also suppose to be wiped off every time before someone else is seated. That means the entire table is suppose to be completely wiped off and cleaned between customers. Not only is nothing ever moved when someone wipes it off, the whole outer edge of the table where people eat has dried food on it, because these kids who work for you are only wiping the center of the tables. I've watched them do it and just shook my head, and wondered why you weren't addressing this problem. Surely you must see it if we do, because I'm not the only one who's noticed this. Your staff is not the most ambitious group I've ever seen, they tend to talk too much and do their job too little. And that, sir, falls directly on you. If it takes a group meeting for you to show everyone how to do a simple task such as wiping off a table properly so when they run their hand over it, it feels smooth, then that's what should be done. Because bottom line - anything that's wrong with your restaurant isn't going to be blamed on your staff. It's going to be blamed on you. And if they continue to do things wrong, it's going to be because you don't care that they're not done right. read more

I go here with my son and his numerous sports teams fairly frequently (and there is generally anywhere between 12-20 or so of us) and the staff at Ram's Horn has been nothing short of great! We don't always have the time to call ahead and give them notice that we have a bigger group coming in, but they never seem to have a problem with it! The place is about as clean as it gets, the food is great, and the staff is among the friendliest and most accommodating there is out there. All of us always prefer to have separate checks and we have never had problems with it whatsoever, and not only that, but we prefer to have separate checks so that everyone can pay their own way, because lets be honest here, not everyone carries all credit cards, and not everyone carries cash on them, so they have always been a huge help with splitting up the bills and such. Like I have said before, we come here quite frequently, and plan on continuing going there for as long as we can! I must say this place is a great addition to the local community, and I know many others agree with me! read more
