Like less than 5 min from placing order, food on the table. Lunch prices are amazing, like skip Taco Bell. Same price for great quality lunch vs. mass produced quantity. The charros are also really great, the added fresh chopped cilantro & onion on top, sooo guuud. Almost like frijoles preprados, just add cojita cheese! We took a chance and walked over while my car was getting an oil change. So glad we did! Service was great and so was the food. They started us with tasty chips and warm salsa, which I didn't even know was my favorite! Charro beans were some of the best I have had. My friend's three enchilada plate had great fillings and sauces that I must admit made me jealous. Ruluis our server was great, even bringing us some secret Mexican hot sauce. We held a 54 person rehearsal dinner here in their private room and the service could not have been better!!!! They had the perfect amount of staff, perfect buffet line where they served our guests and kept our margarita and beer pitchers coming! The food was also delicious!! First off, my waitress was unfriendly. I rarely leave reviews, but needed to share my experience. I'm not a huge fan of warm salsa (temp) and simply asked if they had chilled salsa and she seemed annoyed. Not a big deal, but I always ask no matter what restaurant I am in. I noticed she was more engaged and friendly to the other tables. my crispy tacos were just mediocre and the salsa looked like ketchup and just didn't taste good. When she brought my check she handed me the hand held credit card device and just left the table. Those who know me know I TIP WELL! I've been known to leave 100% if the service is good/friendly. At the VERY LEAST, stick around for 30 seconds and ask how the food was or just pretend you are interested. I'm from out of town and visit my daughter often. I can't give zero stars, so this will have to do to register our displeasure with everything about this place. 5:30 dinner on a weekday. Got seated ok after seeking out the hostess. The waitress spoke little English but we managed to get a watery margarita and Diet Pepsi ordered, but not to specifications. And that was it. We were ignored for the next 20 minutes. Our order was never taken as the waitress spent her time sweeping the floor. There was only one other couple in our area and they got served and were eating when we gave up and decided to leave. The manager finally came over to check on us, glared at the waitress, and gave us our $10 bill for the two drinks and chips. We ended up having a marvelous dinner at Margaritas down the street. Ridiculous service; uncompetitive prices, and really poor customer service. I don't know how they stayed in business. read more

I like the decor takes you back. However, the beef fajitas were horrible no flavor and chewy. I did not care for the salsa and the queso that came with my wife's carne guisada was cold. The carne guisada itself was not very flavorful. But, the top-shelf margarita was good. Unfortunately, we will not be back when in the Conroe area. read more

We ate there noni My wife and I ate there last night . They weren't very busy . We just ordered tacos and bean soup . The tacos were the worst I've ever had in my life and the bean soup obviously had beans added to the pot . Some of the beans were soft and had been cooked but most were hard as a rock . I usually have a go to Mexican restaurant that doesn't have online ordering so I decided to try Rancho Grande because they were on door dash. Also it's been recommended to me before. I'm the type that once I find something I like I don't usually keep looking but I'm so glad I tried this place. I can't wait to go in person. Will likely absolutely be my new favorite place to go. Also, I'm hardly ever impressed with food to go. For me most of the enjoyment is in the experience and once you get it out the door and drive it to the house it's usually not as good to me, but I was blown away with the quality of the food. My husband and I decided to try out Rancho Grande based on other Yelp reviews. I will say I had high expectations of at least the service. Upon our arrival, the guy who sat us was talking to a young boy when we walked in. You could sense his frustration having to interact with the kid. We were seated and it took quite a while for us to be greeted. Once we ordered, we got queso as an appetizer. It wasn't bad but nothing special. My son got the enchilada meal and he didn't really care for it. My husband and I both ordered a combo meal with fajita meat and an enchilada. The chicken was a 5 out of 10 and the beef was a 2. The enchilada... again... not decent and not awful. Overall the food was not anything impressive and then with our service being slow and just seeing the staffs interaction with other guests, we probably won't be back. read more
