Rancho Viejo is a smallish place but the seating is comfortable. Menu is fairly typical of Mexican joints. Food is solid, prepared well and the service is quick, if a bit wooden.

The expresso burrito was really good, had ice tea, service is average, ambience is like a small town mexican restaurant. A little pricey, but it's average for sisters.. I would recommend it.

We love visiting Sisters and this is one of our favorite restaurants. The food and drinks are always fantastic. The service is always friendly, but I felt like this time they were more dialed in. Maybe they've been short staffed in the past. Service was timely and on point this time! Ambiance is perfect!

Craving Mexican and there aren't exactly major options in town. We dropped in on a Saturday night for dinner around 5. We walked in behind another couple, and although they weren't too busy we all just stood there without even a greeting until my husband finally approached a server to see if they had plans to seat us. After that we were seated fairly quickly, provided with menus and chips & salsa...but again, forgotten for a few minutes until I was able to get another servers attention. They've got a pretty decent menu from which to choose, and we ended up with enchiladas and a taco salad, as well as a house margarita for the hubby. The food came fast and very hot. The food was good and portions fair. The restaurant itself feels a bit sticky...assuming it's in need of a really good deep cleaning, especially considering the flies inside. We were batting at them the whole time. We certainly didn't leave hungry...honestly everything tasted good - nice hot salsa, crispy chips, and a pretty good margarita. Once we were finally helped and seated our service was friendly. Would I return? I'm not sure. Improvements needed in a few areas.

Good food, Big servings. Server was quick and very polite. Macho Burritos had great presentation and yummy tender pork. Will definitely be back!

Guacamole is Gargage, there is no way this is fresh yuk disappointed

The bar is good, very confrontational. Produce and guacamole is weak. Wish the Produce was better. Maybe they look at a local Produce company for better produce

Whenever I'm missing the flavors of Mexico we head here. Fresh squeezed margaritas are the best. The new bars are awesome inside and out!

Gross! I love Mexican food and even typical roadside American style Mexican but this was gross. No salt. No spice. No flavor. Yuck.

I ordered the fish tacos which were delicious. We're cooked a little hard and had a little more coating then desired, but everything else was delicious and came together perfectly. We arrived around 230 on a Wednesday and were surprised how many people were coming and going. After our experience, we understand why. We got in the short, quick line and looked over the specials and menu while waiting. I ordered the heirloom salad (but got the macha salsa on the side because I'm wimpy) and the elote corn, both on the " very, very specials" board. Randy ordered the chicken tinga taco and the carnitas taco and an order of chips and salsa. Corina got the beef and broccoli which came with a side of Jasmine rice. Everything was delicious although Randy was missing a couple things: a spicier salsa and thinner chips. I thought they were fine but he is quite particular where chips and salsa are concerned. He enjoyed the tacos, loved that they were street tacos and thought the carnitas were a little more flavorful but both were good. My salad was fresh and flavorful, all the components (minus the spicy macha salsa) made it exactly what I was hoping for. The corn was buttery, creamy, flavorful. The best I've had. It's a whole piece of corn broken in half and slathered with all the goodness with some slaw, cotija and lime on the side. Corina's beef and broccoli was scrumptious. I don't normally enjoy that dish but this one was excellent. The meat was flavorful and not grisly and the broccoli was cooked perfectly, not mushy. It was a huge portion. After eating a piece of the corn, she's got beef broccoli leftovers. Randy also got a raspberry soda which was good, not super sweet, and Corina got the apple mint lemonade which was very good. Everyone was nice and helpful and the music was a good level, plenty of seating. Apparently some outside too. We absolutely are looking forward to going back. PS picture of the wallpaper in the bathroom just because I loved it.

Needs one guy serving drinks and answering questions about the menu, and one person taking orders. The food was Chinese fusion with Mexican influences and we got mala noodles, 1 shrimp taco, and fried chicken. I'm Chinese and my husband is Mexican, so in theory this place would be right up our alley. However the shrimp taco's tortilla was not made fresh which is is the whole point of the taco (the salsa and the tortilla). The chicken was decent but not spectacular. The mala noodle was good on flavor (kudos for keeping the "ma" part intact) and probably the best part of the meal, but the rice noodle needs to be cooked 1-2 minutes less.
