I read the reviews last night before coming in this morning to buy donuts-- this location is new, and they are still getting the kinks out, which is completely understandable. I see what the other reviews are talking about pertaining to the oil, but it isn't a big deal. Give them time to work on it. The staff was friendly, quick and professional, and this location was very clean. I am in no sense a Doughnut expert, but this place is good. It's a little pricy compared to Krispy Kreme, but again it's artisan Doughnut place. I wouldn't compare this with Krispy Kreme. I am pretty loyal to that franchise but I would any day try this place more and try their various flavors. Overall the customer service is good but if you are a first timer the front girl may sound a little rude but you know what may be she was having a bad day! The only reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 is cause the price, the average price per doughnut is $3.50 a piece. Their flavors are amazing especially the Matcha Tea flavor. Doughnuts are not that sweet but at the same time, the regular glazed was a little tough. Try this place you will like it. They have a huge menu and it's difficult to decide but their Cherry, Matcha, Nutella, and Red Velvet is really good. read more

I do not like donuts, but every time I am in the area I ALWAYS make sure to get a couple donuts from this Randy's Donuts location. They are just way too delicious to pass up, I absolutely love the Chocolate Old-Fashioned. Every time I have gone the lady that serves me is always so incredibly kind and treats me like an old friend. The only thing that sucks is the location is a bit complicated to get to and that is isn't closer to my house. 8-20-22 Ok second visit to Randy's Donuts. The flies were either on vacation or the over abundant fly issue was solved...YEAH.....no flies swarming around the facility nor in the food cases....YEAH. There ordering and waiting process ran a lot smoother. The staff was great, totally different than what we experienced before. Helpful, informative, not stammering all over each other. I even received a card for a free donut next time. My husband who ate my cream filled bar said it was fresh and tasty he liked it. No stale donut there. My lemon filled donut required a lot more chewing.... a bit stale. The next morning I ate half of an apple fritter..... it was frittery (if that's a word). It was cooked to long which made it tough to eat, I put a dab of butter to soften and nuked it for 10 second...thank God I only ate half of it. Well that pretty much sums this review up. My daughter and I visited Randy's Donuts in Riverside CA 7/7/24 for the very first time. We usually go to Randy's Donuts in Costa Mesa CA one of our Most Favorite places to visit. We decided to try the Riverside location because it's much much closer to us. What A Disappointment!! Our dounuts were raw, mushy in the middle, YUCK!! My daughter had the Green Chi Tea Donut and I had the Apple Fritter, Mushy Uncooked Donuts Are Disgusting to say the least!! Upon entering the shop, you have to be very very careful as there is a very thick extension cord attached to an huge inflatable donut and it would be very easy to take a tumble tripping over it if your not looking down! These are probably the most expensive donuts that I've ever bought. For six donuts I cannot believe that is almost $20. One of the things that I've been working on this year is saying no and not letting the pressure of buying something when I don't want it or need it. The donuts are delicious IF and only if they have them in stock when you arrive. This Randy's doesn't like to restock their best selling donuts AT ALL! I've shown up at 3:00pm, 5:00pm and 6:30pm looking for a few specific donuts and yet for whatever reason the staff will refrain from making more of them even though they have several hours left before the store closes. At every other Randy's, scratch that, every other DONUT SHOP I've ever been to the staff makes sure to keep the most popular donuts in stock throughout the entire day but I suppose the workers in this Randy's have more important things to do. Oh and there's one person on their staff who's incredibly rude and needs to be retrained on how to properly treat customers. Can't remember her name unfortunately. Just avoid this Randy's altogether. read more

Nice selection of donuts. The frosted cherry and blueberry were dry and the frosting fell off. The raised donuts were very good. The coffee and the maple bacon were amazing. My biggest complaint is that there is a hole on each side of the box which leads to stale donuts and the chance of ants getting inside. Not sure what the point of that is. I give Randy's a lot of crap lol cause I feel they're extremely overrated. But to their credit I just got some donuts from the new Randy's on Van Buren, and they weren't too bad. They deserve some credit for making decent tasting donuts. I grew up near LAX and rarely went to the original Randy's in Inglewood because there were better local donut shops around. So for many years I've treated them like a red headed step child... but to their credit these donuts I just got from the Van Buren location we're pretty decent. They have a good bite, not too greasy, and weren't too sweet. I judge donut shops by their glazed donuts and my favorite is still an original Glazed Krispy Kreme. But not bad Randy's....
