Really good selection and much less busy than its Inglewood location. Prices are decent as well. I got the Nutella donut and it was absolutely delicious. This was our first time at the Torrance location. We were hoping to get the donut rounds with fun toppings, but all they had was glazed. Instead we got the blueberry iced, s'mores, churro, and maple bacon. Blueberry is always my fave. The s'mores were good too, but I would've preferred the marshmallows to be more toasty. The bacon topping was delicious, and the donuts themselves were soft and chewy. The only one that was disappointing was the churro. The last time we visited California we went to the original Randy's infalling love with the donuts. So you can imagine how excited we were when we found out there was a location closer to where we were staying. We went in probably about 30 minutes before closing and the staff was just as chipper and friendly as the folks we encountered during the day at the other location. They were patient and helpful as we chose donuts, drooling & distracted, lol. The space was spotless and the assortment was still very good for it being the end of day. We tried quite a few different donuts along with our favourites from last time (raised glazed and the square glazed). We polished off the order with two large coffees. The coconut caramel chocolate raised doughnut! It taste like of caramel delight girl scout cookie! I will likely be back to take some of these home to New York. Great donuts! My son loves these donuts. However, not great for pre-ordering larger orders in person. I used to pre-order for class and birthday parties ahead of time in person. I was told by their employee that they do not do this anymore. I was able to stop by in person and/or call and pre- order at another neighborhood donut shop. I'll still support this location since their donuts are tasty. As for pre-ordering for parties, I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I'm by no means a donut connoisseur (at least to the point where I don't see a reason to argue over its spelling). But based on comparison to Dad's in Burbank, Dunkin Donuts, Simone's in Long Beach, Krispy Kreme, Legendary Donuts in Tacoma and countless donuts brought in by co-workers, NOTHING approaches Randy's. I've tried their original Manchester Blvd location also since it's close to work and the quality is consistent from store to store. It's unnervingly easy to go over the edge with fancy sugar-laden extras and even the normal chocolate / maple frosting is too much. Today, while waiting on tire replacement, I walked here and waited in line for about ten minutes. Even for a new spot, this place is clearly popular and I feel lucky to have one near home AND work. I picked up two glazed raised donuts and had my way with one of them in the car. I don't know what they fry these in! I strongly suspect it goes against my vegetarian wishes, but when I have that flavor rolling on my tongue, it simply doesn't matter. P.S. Located off Hawthorne Bl near the corner of Lomita Bl in Torrance. Plenty of parking which is shared with the other businesses and office buildings. This is a small place of course no indoor seating there really is not any room maybe one or two small tables or benches could fit. There is an outdoor patio where there are tables but not set up for outdoor seating yet. This location just opened this past Tuesday. So glad we have a Randy's here in Torrance now. A pretty good selection of donuts to choose from I had to get a chocolate devils food my must at any Randy's. Overall this is a great addition to the South Bay Area I'll be back again. read more

Small branch of Randy's dishing out all the usual suspects. The classic glazed is very good, just a bit on the greasier and slightly dense side. Interestingly, its interior had a chew reminiscent of raw dough...if that's your thing. The glazed Crondy was definitely the star for its huge air pockets and crispy exterior. After reading reviews, opted to not get any premium since they're pretty pricey & got mostly classic & deluxe & a few fancy. As others said, my favorites were the good ol' classic ones. Welcome Randy's! It's so close to Sidecar, I know it's going to be difficult choosing where to go for dessert next. Cake doughnuts are cool, but the raised glazed ones are super classic. And Randy's makes theirs so irresistible, especially when it's fresh out of the fryer. Our newest South Bay location is right on Hawthorne, near the Skypark medical offices and Olive Garden. The interior pretty much resembles the El Segundo store, same color scheme and modern decor. There is a nice outdoor patio on the side, with some tables. Takeout is a breeze, and delivery is a convenient option for many. There's a doughnut for everyone here. I gravitate towards Chocolate Raised, but they also make old fashioned doughnuts, jelly filled, twists, crullers, and yes even cake doughnuts. Some of their more creative options include matcha glazed, cereal toppings, and the huge Texan doughnut. Make sure to grab one of those iconic orange boxes, you are not leaving the store with less than a dozen! read more

I've gone here twice now, and the donuts are good but nothing special. I enjoyed the donuts, though some of them were a little doughy and the apple fritter was wet in the middle. The line moves fairly fast, and the customer service is great-- they were patient and helpful with flavor recommendations! Though the second time I went, I asked for a glazed buttermilk and they accidentally gave me a plain buttermilk. I would come here again, but it's not going to be my go-to donut spot. Yay for CLASSIC Donuts! Sorry man, I know there are all these "great" other bougie donut places but personally, when I want a Donut I think about Randy. To me, these are real donuts :) All the donuts I have tried are delicious and they have a good variety of donuts, but not so many that it's option overload or you have to worry about freshness/quality. I also got a coffee drink there (a cappucino yeah, I took a risk) but it was quite delicious! There were four staff members there on a Saturday morning around 8 am when I went a few weeks ago (it wasn't too crowded yet) and they were all cheery and fun and nice. I regret not getting some names down because the service was great. Being greeted with a nice smile makes a huge difference in my day (personally) and they all did so. Maple and Chocolate raised donuts are my personal favorite, and never dissapoint. I also fancy the Cruller style (drooling as I think about them). This will be my go to Randy's, and if I ever decide to treat the office to donuts, or have a brunch I would definitely come here for a dozen (or two)! read more

I've been dying to try their doughnut ice cream sandwich for months and finally went in to get one. I arrived at 7:28pm and they were cleaning up. I asked for the ice cream sandwich and they told me they already cleaned the machine and I couldn't order one. Another location of the iconic landmark lands in Torrance. The donuts are a bit pricy compared with local Mom&Pop shops but the raised donuts are larger and taste fresher. Thumbs way up for their cinnamon roll. Cinnamony, moist, and large. My daughter had the Girl Scout Samoa flavored one (named in the most generic of descriptions to avoid copyright infringement). It tastes like a poofy, donuty, Samoa. I found the caramel glaze to be too sweet for my taste and my daughter who normally destroys a donut, couldn't bring herself to finish it because it was just too much sweetness for her. As with the never ending saga of finding a great Bear Claw, went to Randy's Donuts in Torrance. Bear Claw was not to sweet and not over powering with cinnamon. Large enough compared to many of the places I've been too. 10 bites worth. Many places I've been to were only 7-8 bites. Randy's also has my other favorite donut... Crullers. This was not as large as other places but still good. Many donut places don't make Crullers. They have 3 different icings. My dad grew up in West LA, so we often stopped at the original Randy's on our way to grandma's house. I was happy to see that Randy's opened a location in the South Bay. I went in on Opening day! The line was long, but it moved quickly. It looks like you can order ahead and skip the line after they set up the online ordering later on in the week. No iconic giant donut, but that's due to city permits. Boo bureaucracy! Apple fritter was huuuge and everything was freshly made and still warm.
