The sauce here is great. This is the third pizza place I've tried since moving here and for sure the best. Great chew to the crust and they don't skimp on the toppings. The dough tastes seasoned and not like cardboard like some other places. All and all definitely eating here again. read more

We've been ordering Randy's Pizza since we moved to North Carolina because it's right up the street from my parent's neighborhood. It was always my parent's go-to when we had a day at the pool with family and friends because it was so convenient. Pizza in general is convenient, it helps that they are right down the street. I remember the pizza being good, too. Huge pieces, maybe a little too greasy, but it's pizza. However after I moved out of my parent's (and out of the area) I never went back. Whenever I visited (not on a pool day) and they had a pizza night it was always ordering pizza from a different location for dinner. I went back Wednesday evening because a girlfriend and I were looking for a place to have dinner in between our work places that was relatively inexpensive. Randy's Pizza was the winner. So, we got there, and it was about dinner time but not overly busy and crowded, which was nice. It was also very clean, another bonus. The service was nothing special. Nobody was rude by any means, but considering it WASN'T busy, I was expecting a little something extra. I work in customer service, so I have expectations...that were not met. There seemed to be a lot of tension between a particular staff member, who did a lot of eye rolling to his coworkers, and the rest of the team. He was clearly not happy being there. But everyone has bad days, so I can't base my entire visit on something I know nothing about. Ordering was a little hectic. I didn't get food because I wasn't hungry, but my friend got two slices of cheese pizza, a soda, and half order of garlic knots. She had to repeat her order twice. She asked for a side of Alfredo sauce (and was willing to pay for it) but they said they don't give out small amounts of Alfredo sauce. But she worked at Olive Garden for two years and explained to me how complicated it was to make Alfredo and how if it isn't already pre made, then it's not worth making for a small amount. So she wasn't upset, but the garlic knots would have been bomb to dip in that cheesiness. It took about ten minutes for her to get her two slices of cheese pizza and the garlic knots weren't ready for another ten or fifteen. The girl who rang her up had to redo her order because she didn't know about the garlic knots. The total was between 14 and 17, I can't remember. But they are very large slices of pizza. I didn't eat the pizza because I wasn't hungry, but she said it was good. I had a few garlic knots. They were very good but VERY messy because they were drenched in oil. All the oil gave me an upset belly. It looks like the pizza could have been blotted with a few napkins to take away excess grease, but the garlic knots were beyond hope. We decided to make that our regular Wednesday night meeting place, mainly because of convenience. The customer service just wasn't very good. The food was fine. What was nice was that it wasn't busy but it was loud enough to have a private co versatile but quiet enough to still be heard without shouting to each other. I'll probably being my own food because if I'm spending that much on food I want something I'm looking forward to. My friend didn't have a problem with the pice but she makes a bit more than I do (LOL). Anyway, I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone. It's nothing special. Just convenient. read more

I have lived in Morrisville for four years and thought I would never find a good, authentic pizza place. I live around the corner from Randy's and would always see the sign as I drove by. So one day I stopped in and took a pie home. Best move so far when it comes to pizzas. The crust was crunchy, the proper amount of cheese and veggies. All in all a great pizza experience. I love Randy's Pizza but I usually go to the one in Durham on Miami blvd I never have issues in that location however, since I live in Morrisville I decided to give this location a try and the Miami blvd closed on Sunday. They close 8 on Sundays I walked in at 7:15 or so they told my husband and I they ran out cheese. Your a pizza place seriously how do you run out of cheese! ! First let me reveal that I come from Brooklyn NY. I have been looking for pizza that is at least similar to what I ate in NY. I tried Randy's yesterday on Davis Drive in Morrisville. It is, without doubt, the worst pizza of the seven pizzarias I've tried in the Cary area. The slice was the most flaccid or droopy of any pizza I've had in ten years. I like a thin crust pizza but 1/2" at the edge and 1/4" all over is ridiculous; I've had pita that's thicker. Randy's slice is more than 12" long. it's a good example of why size does not matter. Lastly the sauce was tangy sweet instead of savory. Many reviewers wrote that Randy's had NY style pizza. That may be true if they're referring to pizza sold in places like Albany, Rochester and Syracuse, NY -- certainly not NYC. I will not go back and I suggest that you stay away if you're from NYC. This pizza used to be one of the best in the area. Now the service is terrible and the pizza is disgusting. I have no idea what happened to the original staff who actually cared and made a delicious pizza. It is way to thin, with no sauce and barely any cheese. We have even been left waiting for over and hour when we were eating in and they had never called our name. Stuck the pizza in the box and left it on top oven. This has happened more than once. Then when the mistake is realized they hand you the box of pizza with no offer to remake or even just to reheat. Not even a simple apology. I live less than a quarter mile from the Randy's Pizza at McCrimmon Corners Shopping Center. I order there once to twice a week. Today, I ordered a pizza from them and they told me it would take between 25 minutes and an hour to deliver. Firstly, I was shocked on the variance of the delivery. I ordered the pizza at 6:06 PM and I called them at 7:01 PM. I asked how much longer it would take to get the pizza, and the guy who answered said between 10 and 20 minutes. I told him, "Wait, I was told it would be a max of an hour which means I should have it by 5 minutes from now." He replied back, with an attitude, "look, you will be the next delivery, you will get it when you get it." I am not happy with that kind of service and it makes me not want to return to this company. Up to this time, I have been very happy with Randy's but I am shocked that I would face this kind of an attitude from an employee. I hope you will do something to remedy this situation. Oh, not to mention, the first thing I did when I got it, was through it in the oven. It is cold. It took me 20 minutes to heat it up in the stove. This is a solid pizza place, but I just can't bring myself to give it 4 stars. Maybe it's because I really like the pizza when I'm dining in, but somehow it's just not as good if delivered. Plus I think the crust is a bit too large. I am from NJ so I know pizza and love my thin crust, but with crust so big I end up giving it to my dog. I've had the calzones and liked them, but have yet to find a calzone done as good as they are in Jersey. Great pizza, terrible service. I ordered delivery in early July (2015). When the pizza was delivered, I realized that I'd been overcharged by about 25%. Since someone else in my house signed for the pizza, I had to call Randy's to try to sort out the overcharged amount. The issue took several phone calls, during which I was finally referred to the manager Reuben. Messages were left for Reuben, but he's never returned the call and the overcharging was not resolved on their end. I had called in for a Randy's White Pizza. When I went in, the pizza that was baking was a red pizza. They quickly realized their error and started to make a new White Pizza. I had to wait about 10-15 minutes in their shop but they threw in an appetizer free for their error. Let me start by saying I thought all locations were the same, but apparently not. My husband and usually order from the location on Miami Blvd, however this was a Sunday and that particular location is closed. We placed our order online and was told it would be about 60 minutes to receive the order. About 90 minutes later, our pizza arrived along with some wings. We asked for the pizza to be completely pepperoni and only half be mushroom, but it didn't come quite like that. Only half was pepperoni and half was mushroom. Our wings were pretty much 70% fat, 30 meat. Not very filling when you have to pick around the fat. Sometime through our pizza, we noticed spots of under cooked dough. If I had to choose between this place and somewhere else on a Sunday night, I would pick Dominos or Papa Johns before I go back to this place. It's a shame the other location we usually order from is closed on Sunday because their food is so much better there. read more

The people are pretty friendly, get even large orders right. The pizza is pretty good if you like New York style. My only complaints are the abundant grease and very little amount of sauce, but that's the style. That's why I usually go for Chicago style instead. If you thin crust and barely there sauce is your bag, can't go wrong with this place. Can't say how the other foods are here, only had the pizza. read more

My roommates and I go here every so often and the food is good but the service is never good. Tonight was the tipping point. The three of us ordered several things on a call in and when we go there, we asked of we could split it up. It was like we asked them to preform brain surgery. It's a good thing they don't have something called a CASH REGISTER. They has the most trouble with a pizza that needed to be divided on 2. We left New York 18 years ago and still hate the pizza in North Carolina, except for Randy's. The pizza has very thin crust, usually cooked perfectly and they deliver. If you want the closest thing to real new york pizza, order the thin crust from Randy's. Everything else if like a loaf of bread with tomato paste and cheese on top. read more
