We've been customers since opening visit a couple times each month for the lowest prices on Fruits and Veggies around town. A super selection of hot food ready to go or eat inside the dining area. Love the Authentic Lebanese food on the cheap, half price any restaurant. Got a favorite Mulukhiya it's Greens with Chicken , I compare to Collard Greens OMG. She had the Kousa Mashi outstanding stuffed Squash Wowed . We shared Deep Fried Kibbie and a Mixed Shawarma sandwich always a winner. Also a order of the Rice with Lamb and Cashews so addictive Yummy . I got some Armenian Sujuk and Toum Garlic Sauce for great prices. Super busy open till close 9-9 everyday, parking lot always filled. 6 cashier's working hard to check customers out. A must visit for super savings especially on Wild Wednesday. My whole total was a measly $11 for a dozen of falafel, a plate of rotten turnips pickles and parsley 2 mini containers of garlic and tahini and 2 huge containers of garlic and tahini that were both sour and old tasting, I kept my mouth shut and didn't call them to complain and figured they lost a long time customer bc why would I even go back when their packaged items are all dusty and expired and flies all over their produce, in the whole produce isle I didn't see one fruit or vegetable that was edible and everyone was trying to buy stuff but they were walking away after trying to pick through. Way better markets in the area. Skip this place if you care about what goes into your body, threw the turnips pickles garlic and tahini straight into the trash upon opening, ate 2 of 12 falafels out of hunger, then threw the rest away bc what would make me think it was ok to eat them after everything else was rotten, pathetic third world vibes in this market, defiantly has gone down hill, hope they shut down and use that big space for an actual edible market

If you're not down to be around a crowd, don't go on Wednesdays. They are really great for their produce, as well as Halal meat, nuts, and spices. I also like olive oil imported from Greece, and they stock it. You can also get unique cheeses and middle eastern yogurt. The good news, is for those looking for "American" ingredients, you can find them there as well. The bummer-in the refrigerated section they don't do the best job with keeping an eye on dates. For example, I purchased some boiled chickpeas and they were bad (spoiled). Some of the tabouli salad lacked brightness and looked like it was time to get off the shelf. The staff has always been friendly with me, and the lines move very fast. Another bummer is the parking lot. It's CRAZY and I've almost been in so many accidents there. Be very very careful.

I told him I did not buy any bulghur, only masri rice and bulk chick peas listed at 0.49c/lb. The owner heard me and rushed over. The chick peas are not 49 cents he stated. "That was a sale and the sale ended yesterday." I said well if the sale ended, then remove the sign that says 49cents/lb. He answers "Ma Bady" meaning I don't want to. Instead of being worried that his cashier was charging me an additional $3 that he may be pocketing, he is arguing over a few cents in the cost of the chick peas. This owner needs a lesson in customer service.

SPecifically, we came here to find asafoetida, and after figuring out that it's not called asafoetida in Arabic, we left happily with not one, but two different configurations of the stanky herb (which made all of the difference in our dinner!). You can find some special, more obscure things, like weird varieties of cocoa powder or coffee, plus honey, and even locally made Yemeni halva/khalta (to the uninitiated, it's sort of a distant cousin of nougat or Turkish delight, but better-- get the harissa one, it's the bomb). The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have a bunch of other random housewares and household items ranging from tea sets to perfumes, including an "inspired by" Baccarat Rouge that smelled actually believable for a tenth of the price of the real deal. Go for it.

Displays were through out the space, but unlike a traditional market that stacks food items on shelves far above the shopper's line of sight. They carry a variety of top-shelf items at great prices. (Check out the pics I've posted.) Their perfumes are high quality oud-types, that for some Americans might be considered too heavy, but are fabulous and long-lasting... mostly selling at $25 at the time of this review. Check out Khanjar perfume for men - the art in the packaging aloneis worth $25 alone! But don't kid yourself, this smells incredible for both males and females, IMO. Their jewelry, mainly silversmithing of rings, is high quality and unique. I found them a bit high in price for the silver content but many held beautiful polished stones (Aqiq, Agate,) of which I have no knowledge of their value. Overall, this smallish market houses a powerful punch of high quality merchandise in comparison to larger markets, and excellent customer service. I'll be back.
