I bought a new bike nearby and it didn't come with a kickstand so I had the option of buying the kickstand for $10 and paying an additional $15 for the install. It's a simple bolt screw in so I said no thanks. Dropped by this Rapha to see if they sold the tool to install the kickstand and they were so kind to just let me borrow it free of crash. I was even taught how to install it myself. While I was there, they told me about the group rides that meet every other Monday for free for beginners (something they did not need to inform me about) and I ended up joining for a group ride. The team here goes above and beyond to make sure the customers feel welcomed and informed. read more

The store has limited selection and I had to buy half the kit online, which takes over a month to get here. I got super expensive bike shorts which already have a sign of wear after one use. Overall way too much for what you get. read more

Every time I have come here I have been treated with such great care, today especially thanks to Kenneth Rizer. Being fairly new to cycling I did have quite a few questions, and Kenneth was so accommodating and took time to listen and provide insight. The information was so helpful I came in for one or two items and left with a lot more! The store itself is well thought out and very clean, there is even a coffee shop! It lives up to their reputation of having well made items the brand is an essential to the cycling community. If you're a member of the Rapha Cycling Club, you can even rent awesome Canyon road bikes more affordably than from any other bike shop around. The staff are always friendly, the coffee and food is on point, and the store is always well-kept and well-stocked with more Rapha gear than you could need. I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem. It's a high end cycling shop that's runs a great cafe/coffee bar. This place really left a lasting impression because of the extreme coolness & kindness of their staff. Thanks Zach and Paul! My review is mainly for the coffee shop and not so much for the cycling gear or services. Grabbed a drip coffee, yogurt & granola and a bagel. They serve ELM Roasters here and it's great. The yogurt & granola is served with honey & cinnamon and is really great. I got the bagel with butter & cinnamon. Both items were not over-sweet and in my opinion were a good size/portion for cost. All in all had a really great experience. Sat here and worked for a few hours. Great atmosphere and nice people. There is a cycling club here that has an annual membership fee of $200 (check date of review posting) if you're interested in checking that out. They have some club house events they put on that anyone can join. Come stop by. They're great. read more

Friendly beautiful space with reasonably priced cycling gear and their options for women are one of the few cycling brands for women that aren't offensively ugly. Staff is friendly and people read books and the level of culture is a wonderful oasis for people who live in the west coast. Hope someday they can do a partnership with pedaled and integrate Japanese bike culture because the design and beauty Would be awesome. I don't find most of their items more expensive than other brands and like I said-- women's cycling gear in general is frighteningly ugly so this is one of the few places where women can get beautiful functional items just like men! Note that the men's sizing works just fine on women as well. read more

I'm never compelled to write yelp reviews (yes, a cliche), but I had such a great experience here that I've been buzzing since stepping out of the store. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The lady, whose name I failed to get, was so incredibly helpful in grabbing several items/sizes for me to try on and gave me helpful insight into the purchases I was making. She wasn't trying up sell me on anything but with great customer service that tends to happen naturally! Upon checking out I met Jacob who was also incredibly helpful and explained to me the club, the group rides, the rental bikes and the cafe perks if you become a member. It was a great chat and as a cycling novice I felt right at home and didn't get any of the intimidation factor that I have at other stores. I'll be a Rapha fan for life! read more

Let's be honest, most high end bicycle shops tend to lean towards the elite/arrogant side when it comes to customer service. Think Portland brunch scene circa 2002. Rapha on the other hand, is the exact opposite, in my opinion. All the employees have been so kind and helpful! They've never shamed me for not knowing how to pronounce gilet, or asking what the difference between product lines are. They even laugh at my jokes sometimes, and if you know me, I'm not very funny. I highly recommend Rapha's clothes, coffee, and hang out destination. I'm thankful this place exists! read more

I found the high quality bike shorts and light wool shirt that I needed. The two young guys staffing the shop were helpful and friendly. Looking in the window from the street, it wasn't clear whether the shop carried anything for women, but they do have one small corner for women's gear out of about 1100 square feet of total space. It is a nice shop and I would love to see this brand expand its offerings for women. Again, I did find what I needed, so I recommend this shop for quality gear and helpful staff. read more

Rob and Jessie were really friendly and we had a great conversation about cycling in Seattle and out on the East Coast where I'm from. I'm a graduate student so the products are a little above my price point, but it's really nice stuff and if I'm back in Seattle with more money, I'll be back for it! This is for an online purchase, and I acknowledge that it is my fault, but just f@&$ this guys I bought several items from Rapha.cc, a few thousand work of items! The bibs were size L, fit perfectly (like almost every other brand). The jackets (I bought 3, heavy coat, rain, etc) were size XL (I'm 47 so just got a little thicker on the top!) and they fit gigantic. Not big, like I can put a basketball in my belly and still zip them up. So you know Covid, yada, yada, yada, me and my wife had a baby (he won't be using Rapha when he grows up!), and that I checked out as a guest so I had a hard time figuring out how to start a return (had to contact them to get things done). I was a few days late outside the return window. So my fault. I get it. I asked for help, clothes are in their original bags, with tags, unused. Just needed to trade. If they are cheaper now, give me the lesser trade value. I get it. No help. Just, Adios amigo! Sad because I like the brand, but now my little one and I will have to find another company. I was all excited to buy myself a a new long sleeve jersey today at the Seattle grand opening. But I guess I wasn't special enough for even a greeting. This store is not for women. There are 8-10 shelves of men's cycling clothing, arranged by collection, and two sparse shelves of women's clothing. I went in to browse, but there wasn't anything to browse. I checked the online selection, and it looks like the Rapha brand has a great women's selection. Yes the clothing is a little more expensive that the average cycling gear. but it is well designed and made. The fine attention to detail and on bike design sets it apart from the other brands in my book. Also, if you crash and damage your rapha gear they will repair or replace it. Look for sales and you can get a good deal on great gear. read more

Best coffee in Seattle! Super friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the Giro d'Italia on screen. But of course, what else would they be playing in May. Didn't purchase any clothing this time but I love my Brevet jersey. Time to ride. read more

The products are on the pricier side but becomes more reasonable when there is a sale. I really like the quality of their products and more so the company's encouragement of the cycling culture. The local RCC club encourages group rides and give the opportunity to meet like minded cyclists. Cafe in the store is a nice touch as well. read more

My favorite brand for bike wear is now a local clubhouse and it's awesome. Though biking brands can sometimes come with an intimidation factor (dudes in lycra sipping espresso talking about that awesome ride that kicked their ass), I didn't feel it here.
